Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 228: Is this jealousy!?
Isabella had been held at Black Neon for quite some time now. Surprisingly, she had adapted faster than expected. Ever since The Predator had personally fed her on the first day, an act as bewildering as it was unexpected, she had made no more pointless provocations.
She understood she was in hostile territory. But she also understood she was not being mistreated.
That day, she was in the training room. The space was vast, walls reinforced with absorption artifacts. The floor was scarred with marks left by weapons and repeated impacts.
Isabella wielded her spear with grace.
Her movements were all equally elegant and precise. She chained spins and thrusts with discipline. Sweat beaded on her forehead, her hair tied high so it would not obstruct her vision, her graceful silhouette capable of enchanting any man with heterosexual or non-heterosexual eyes.
She trained hard.
Anyway, she had nothing else to do.
On the other side of the room, hidden behind a one-way reinforced glass, two figures observed in silence.
The Predator stood straight, hands clasped behind his back. Beside him, a woman with fine features and dark skin also watched the scene.
Isabella had no idea of their presence.
"Based on her skills, do you think she’s ready?" The Predator asked calmly.
The sorceress tilted her head slightly.
"It’s hard to say. She’s certainly talented, but not enough to awaken the Pendragon lineage. I wonder why you specifically chose her to replace you... There were plenty of more suitable targets."
"Like who, for example?"
She answered without hesitation.
"Kris Donoghan. Plus, he has already awakened his Pendragon lineage."
Kaiser slowly shook his head.
"It’s not as easy as you think."
She remained silent for a moment, thinking.
"I’ve made contact with a fairly talented sorcerer and alchemist. As long as you find a pure-blooded Pendragon, they can make you a potion that will awaken his dormant lineage."
The Predator nodded, his gaze still fixed on Isabella, who had just finished a series of rapid strikes. Out of breath, she planted the tip of her spear into the ground to catch her breath.
"I knew I could count on you, my beloved sorceress."
A slight smile curved the woman’s lips.
"So what would your next moves be?"
Kaiser kept his hands behind his back. His silence lasted a few more seconds, maintaining a mysterious attitude, his aura farming reaching unprecedented heights.
In reality, his thoughts had briefly drifted to Evelyn’s voluptuous body.
"Kaiser? Kaiser, do you hear me?"
"Hm? Yeah..."
She stared at him suspiciously.
"You seem to have busy days... If you want, I can help you with some tasks."
Under the mask, The Predator smiled.
"I know I can always count on you. But there are certain things I have to do myself."
"Very well."
They left the observation room and walked side by side down the dimly lit corridor of Black Neon.
After a few steps, The Predator spoke again.
"You’re quite different from the prejudices people have about dark elves, especially among sorcerers."
She turned her head slightly toward him.
"Hm? And what kind of rumors are those?"
"Many think dark elves are demons disguised as mortals, perfidious by nature, greedy for knowledge, ready to do anything to achieve their goals."
Eleanor smiled faintly. Her slender silhouette swayed with natural confidence.
"Well, I must say those prejudices have proven true."
The Predator let out a light laugh.
"Well well, you’ll tell me more then, what exactly is your goal?"
"I already told you it’s—"
He stopped abruptly, grabbed her wrist, and pinned her against the wall.
The movement was quick but not truly violent.
"Stop lying, Eleanor. I know you don’t care about your master if he even exists... I’m not an idiot."
They were extremely close. Only the black mask separated their faces.
Eleanor narrowed her eyes. Her smile widened.
She slowly raised her index finger and placed it against the mouth of the mask.
Instantly, dozens of extremely sharp threads made of pure mana appeared around them. They intertwined in the air like a spider’s web, some lightly brushing Kaiser’s shoulders, others encircling his arm.
"Yes, my master exists, and yes, I still want to kill him... As well as my two sisters... Do you doubt me, Kaiser? After all these years I’ve been your confidante?"
Her voice was soft and rather mocking...
Kaiser did not move despite the threads that could slice him at the slightest misstep.
"You’re really perfect for the spider queen..."
He released her wrist and turned away, as if the situation had never worried him.
The threads vanished immediately.
Eleanor calmly adjusted her sleeve.
The Predator resumed walking.
"I’d like to meet my beautiful sisters, one of those four."
Eleanor let out a light laugh.
"Be careful what you wish for, Kaiser... They are very dangerous..."
Kaiser noted it; if Eleanor could say they were dangerous, then it was truly the case. For now, he did not have time to think about their potential identities.
"You only denied they were my beautiful ones, what if this was a disguised marriage proposal!?" he added with amusement.
Eleanor rolled her eyes wearily.
"And to think so many girls have fallen in love with you."
...
The Predator did not slow down. He kept his hands in the pockets of his long black coat, advancing with a steady step down the dimly lit corridor of Black Neon.
"And why does that shock you? haven’t you also fallen for my charm?"
She stopped dead, then burst out laughing.
"You’re dreaming with your eyes open!? Looking at little Kara who’s been peeking from the corner of the corridor for nearly thirty minutes, I pity her."
At the end of the corridor, half-hidden behind a pillar, a kitsune silhouette pretended to consult a document. However, her gaze regularly slid toward them.
The Predator cast a brief glance in her direction, then resumed walking as if nothing had happened.
"Kara is a rather difficult tsundere to handle right now. I need to make time for her, but I haven’t had enough free time to take care of it until now."
Eleanor raised an eyebrow.
"How would you have the time when every week I see you with another woman?"
He turned his head slightly toward her.
"Is this jealousy!?"
