Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 185: Big bad wolf
Reeva sat on the bench like he always did, finding solace in the quiet moments. In his normal life, he often drew comfort from these pauses, watching nature create small but meaningful experiences for him. The way the wind rustled the flowers, the gentle fall of leaves—it was the little things like that which brought him joy.
But today, watching the snow drift lazily to the ground, something felt off. First of all, he wasn’t in the 20th century anymore. And second, he was being closely watched by two priests and two knights. They stood nearby, their expressions grim and serious, as if expecting something to happen.
The peaceful moment was starkly different from the tension in the air, and Reeva couldn’t help but wonder how things had spiraled to this.
"Hey, have you heard the tale about the big bad wolf?"
Reeva asked, wanting a reaction from the priest but they didn’t care about him at all. They continue to look over the horizon like a statue.
When Reeva shows that he is an apostle of the Sun God, Plutus immediately takes charge of the whole situation. Both the knights and priests follow his orders since he’s the only one in a leading position now.
As per Reeva’s request and for the apostle’s safety, Plutus manages to get the priests and knights to watch over the heretic without revealing that Reeva is an apostle. He simply gives them a reason to monitor the heretic so he won’t cause any trouble.
"A big bad wolf?"
A voice answers Reeva’s question, however, it’s not the priest nor the knights who answer him. It was a little girl, who happened to walk by.
"Kid, back off! go back to your parents!"
The knight said that letting a little girl near a heretic is very dangerous. Even a knight is not safe if Reeva decides to act up. The information indicated that this heretic had managed to transform into a demon before and then transform back. If this is accurate, then they are dealing with a very dangerous individual.
With that in mind, the priest and the knight are very nervous right now and don’t understand why Plutus didn’t put this dangerous man inside the prison.
"Yep, a big bad wolf. Have you heard about it?"
Reeva ignored his bodyguard and talked to the girl, he was bored sitting here anyway.
"Silence heretic!"
"I’m not doing anything? I’m just talking to little miss over here." Reeva smiled, the knight or the priest couldn’t really hurt him now.
"Then you’re gonna use the feeling to escape, stop right this instant or I’ll have to cut you!"
"Look, if I really want to escape I could have done this long ago" Reeva offered his story, because it’s true, with his demon form he could have killed all of them here and left. But that’s not a good option anymore.

"Are you a big bad world mister?"
Seeing Reeva being held here made the little girl think.
"Don’t..." The knight tries to deny this talk.
"Shut up, Plutus said to listen to me right? I don’t even want to escape. Just let me talk" The knight and the priest make a weird face, not wanting to comply with Reeva’s word but, they have different reasons too. One is the respect for the sun church and one is respect for the order.
"I’m not a big bad wolf"
"Then why are the knight and the priest holding you up?"
"I’m just there VIP, that’s all. So you wanna hear about the big bad wolf?"
"Yes! I love that story" The girl nods, her face bright with anticipation. Reeva could use the yellow fog from her to incapacitate the priest and knight if he turned demon but he had no reason to.
"Alright, so there was a granny living in the woods. But she’s very sick, so the little blue riding hood came to help her every once in a while. However, This time on her way to her gran mother’s place she encounters a wolf. The wolf asks where she’s going and she tells him that she going to a grand place and then points in a direction.
Then the wolf asks for food that the blue Riding Hood brought for Granny. Obviously, the girl said no, to the wolf but instead of eating her the wolf gracefully backed off and suggested she pick a beautiful flower as a gift for her Granny.
"The wolf is good?" The little girl asked, curiously.
"...Listen till the end, the girl thanks the wolf as she goes and picks that flower. Meanwhile, the wolf sneaks behind her back to her grandma’s house and eats her grandma.."
"What!?"
"Then little Blue Riding Hood arrives at the house expecting her sick grandma but grandma looks a little different today. The wolf has changed his clothing to resemble grandma... I can’t remember the conversation but the little blue riding hood also ends up getting eaten."
"What’s the point of this story mister? Why did the wolf not just eat the girl and the grama all at once"
"Because then the wolf wouldn’t know where the grandma is. The point of this story is to not trust strangers"
"The girl is very blind! How could she not recognize that it was not her grandma? I would do much better than her." The girl puffs up her chest, sounding very proud. "However mister what kind of book did you read, it’s not the same as the big bad wolf I read about."
"Oh? There’s a different one? pray, tell."
"Hehe, my father always tells this one to me, on the night of winter when the snow falls down, Be on the lookout because the big bad wolf will strike at a carriage and steal a little girl from it. Then he eats the girls. The end!"
Reeva looked at the little girl
What is that story...
"So what’s the moral of the story?"
"Don’t ride a carriage in the dark!" The girl said with confident
"Sure...."
"Miss! Where are you!?"
In the distance, a group of people is walking over, shouting.
"Mister that was a fun talk! I got to go now, maybe we will see each other again!."
With that cute voice, the girl quickly disappears from Reeva’s sight. Leaving Reeva with only these boring people just like how it started.
