Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 184: Written long ago
Klad looked a bit closer to see that this was something he was quite familiar with. A quick glance at his reaction and Ghaarsh quickly gathered that Klad knew something.
"You could read this?"
"Yea..." Klad replied, knowing that he looked rather suspicious right now. Being able to read a language from a dead empire that doesn’t have any significance at all seems rather odd. "I read a lot about them since I’m interested in their history"
"Great! What does this say?"
Ghaarsh however doesn’t really care about this fact at all, the only thing he wants is the treasure behind this door. What Klad has to worry about is Brent who’s more than capable of picking up on this detail.
However, Brent also doesn’t seem to care much about this.
"let me read"
After confirming that there’s nothing suspicious about this, he finally tries to read the text on display. The letters were written in a very refined manner if you are familiar with it, but if you never encountered this language before it would look like gibberish.
"To open this door you must push the button three times..."
Klad looked up and saw that the text led him to the top of the door, there a circle was highlighted by a glowing blue color that shone bright in the room. The door is big but it’s not hard to reach that place.
"Could you lend me a hand?"
They would never reach the height with just one person so, Klad came up with an idea. They stack on top of each other with Ghaarsh being the base followed by Brent who’s stepping on top of him. Then lately Klad was on top of Brent.
"Could you hold still?" Having a rough time at the top Klad shouted down. Looking at it, he saw that Ghaarsh was really trying his best to support him. But trying his best wasn’t enough, it was hard for him to reach the button even after stacking together.
"Just ue a sword to extend your reach!"
"Can’t use a sword, it would not count!"
"You didn’t even try!"
"...." Klad stump a bit "The text I read says that it needs a real hand to operate the button."
"Hell"
Ghaarsh cursed again and went back to focusing on the balance. On the other hand, Brent stands perfectly still on Ghaarsh’s shoulder, this requires a lot of focus and strength. Both Brent is losing rapidly.
"Could you hurry"
The prince’s voice was weak and filled with fatigue, which put more pressure on Klad to press the button. The farmer boy tried his hardest to press it.
Beep
Beep
After reaching for the button he finally pressed it 2 times.
However, Ghaarsh starts to fall. Supporting two people on his shoulders and keeping them balanced was not on his resume when he applied to the Royal School.
"Stay still!"
Klad yelled out, the balancing made his hand slip out of place. Despite the stone having blue light on it, the surface was still smooth so holding on was impossible. His hand slipped out when Ghaarsh faltered, Brent also wasn’t in a good position either, his leg bending a little bit.
Seeing this Klad felt like he had to make a move now before it was too late, with one big breath he prepared himself.
"I’m about to fall!"
Ghaarsh couldn’t hold it anymore, he tilted to the side. The human tower they built was about to fall, however, Klad made one last move before they needed to try again.
Using Brent’s shoulder he was able to propel himself off and extend his hand out.
Beep!
Finally was able to reach the last button, opening the doors.

Theia sat in the hotel room and gazed out the window. Snow falls like rain in the night, covering the entire village in its white glory. Even just looking at it made her feel lonely.
Reeva was now imprisoned, and worst of all, their connection to Brent was about to be severed. Right now, Reeva would face immediate execution, and she could not sit here and take it; not only would Reeva be executed, but so would Hilda.
Right now is the best time to act.
Her heart races a bit, Onia and her friends are working to bring her to normal but they don’t care about Reeva. This could play out two ways, either she waits here and Brent abandons Reeva or she makes an escape herself and saves everyone.
She would choose the second option in a heartbeat, she could care less about turning a star into a normal circle. Compared to Reeva who saved her life, this is not an equal trade.
For a while now, her emotions have been in chaos, Her heart was torn between power and normalcy. On one hand, she regrets becoming a mystic, her power is great in some aspects but it also comes with a horrible downside.
She wants to return to normal and get away from all this.
But another side of her tells her that this is it. The power she needs to change the world, to change the people around her, to save them, and to destroy her enemy.

Working with Reeva she realized that it’s not all about power, she didn’t need Mystic power to become influential and save everyone. But to save everyone herself, she needs to become much more powerful, powerful enough so they have to respect her.
Powerful enough so they can’t put a cage on her
And powerful enough to save everyone
Her belief grew stronger and stronger with every second passed.
That power is absolute, and she demands it.
Her hand reaches out for a bag containing items that she keep while working with Reeva. Being under Brent meant they didn’t search her belongings. She was glad she could keep her belongings.
Reaching into the bag, she pulls out the thing that starts her journey into the mystic realm, the first request from the mysterious mystic.
An eyes ball in a jar
With this, she will advance to the second circle.
