Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 199: Red
After walking for an hour, Hilda and Leon finally found the thing that they were looking for. Before seeing it Hilda thought it would be hard to spot because of the dim light but upon seeing it she realized that Egul made the thing with a considerate mind.
From afar, she could see a cloth. Its size was big enough, even if she were to walk in the dark the sound of it moving would have notified her of this thing.

The red flag that they were looking for was made with some kind of cloth that had been dried with red. From the smell, Hilda could tell that it was blood. Likely from an animal that Egul hunted.
Right?
"Leon, does your tribe have a habit of hunting humans?"
"What!? we’re not the southern sea people!"
"I’m glad.."
HIld breathed a sigh of relief. The time when the maids in the Antores household were gossiping, there was a tale that always went around, it’s a popular pastime for the noncombat maid to talk about what they heard.
One such tale is that of a cannibal tribe that lives in the southern sea. Said to be one of the most dangerous places a normal citizen could be in. After hearing such a tale echoing around the estate, Hilda could not help but worry. Hearing Leon’s words, her mind could rest a bit.
She finds a log nearby and settles Theia down first, she herself sits on the side. The snow couldn’t touch them anymore, so Hilda was free to sit down wherever she wanted.
Time passed
----------------
"The snow is slowing down"
One of the priests noticed that after many hours of continuous snow.
"Let’s get moving, we can’t let them get away. Miss Lena, could you go first?"
"Could you follow me? I’ll take the divination priest with me"
"Yes"
After the confirmation, the Knight commander grabs hold of a divination priest and carries him like a cabbage. With 5th circle power, a normal human body became as light as feathers. Easy for her to pick up. As soon as she got all of the things she left.
The speed of which many people couldn’t follow. Sowing admiration among the knights and priests alike. Reeva was the one among that crowd, He could only imagine a 5th mystic circle mythic before while reading but now he got to see the real thing.
Which is as impressive as they describe it. Knocking on the door of heaven, the 5th circle of power could almost be called a demi-god. With their body almost indestructible by normal means.
It’d take another 5th circle of power to bring a 5th circle mystic down. It was a pleasure having witnessed that.
While Reeva was drooling over the mystic power, Plutus already cast the light spell that followed The knight commander. His light is still as fast as Reeva remembers.
"After it!"
Reeva commands the people under him. They rush out of the cave following the light that was traveling behind the knight commander.
The whole squad barrels out of the cave and into the snow-covered forest. Their fighting spirit was high but soon they realized a big problem. The snow is too thick to run in.
Seeing Lena dash through it like it was nothing makes them think that they could also do it but they quickly find out that the knight commander was too strong. The only thing they could do it awkwardly shuffle along the snow.
Reeva and Onia quickly follow behind them. Seeing the group from behind Reeva could tell that they were not in a good condition. The knight is still in shape but one could see that running around in armor takes a toll on them.
The priests also suffer from a lack of sleep. The sun has gone down for a while now and they’ve been traveling all day. Even if it’s on a horse, the priest still has to use some energy.
In this condition, Reeva doubts they could catch up to Leon, Hilda, or the 5th circle mystic. But voicing his opinion here would do nothing so he quietly followed them.
------------
Boom!
Egul lands in front of Hilda and Leon, waking them up from their half-asleep condition.
"Ladies! How are you doing? Did you get a good nap?"
Statle awake, Hilda quickly adjusted herself and answered.
"We’re doing fine," Hilda’s eyes were drawn to the box that Egul carried with him "Is that...?"
"Catch"
Egul throws the box over, HIlda’s heart almost drops out of her body but she smoothly receives it.
"The potion is in there, but before you use it you also have to return the favor..."
"Asking for a maiden first time..." Since he was a barbarian, her mind couldn’t come up with a good favor that he could ask for.
"Not interested, I have a wife and she wouldn’t like to see me with other girls." Egul quickly dismisses Hilda’s assumption "What I’m taking you is for you to come with me, we’re in need of a mystic. Is that alright?"
"My service is not cheap"
She couldn’t sell herself low. This potion is not cheap however a third circle mystic doesn’t fall on one’s alp either.
"How about 3 mouths to work, We will provide food and shelter for you while you’re working with us"
"1 mouth"
"3 months with all the privilege I proposed earlier and a mystic artifact of your choosing. The last deal I would make is if you’re not satisfied then we could say goodbye to that potion"
"Do you have the authority to give out such deals?"
Hilda asked, the mystic artifact is too valuable to give out to just anyone. It’s like selling a weapon to your enemy since HIlda is an outsider.
"I’m one of the 3 leaders of the Frotfang tribe. That should be enough authorities."
"...." Hilda looks at Egul with doubtful eyes. "What do I have to deal with?"
"I guess we can’t avoid this subject... God I hate people that think..."
Egul scratched the back of his neck.
