Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 287: Servant of godess
"Shaman... There’s something I would like to report"
The tribesman walked inside the room. The place was filled with skulls of differnt animals decorated on the wall from big to small. It’s a collection of all the animals around here. In the middle of the room sat a shaman. She was seated on a piece of cloth that was filled with feathers to make it soft.
The tribesman looked up to the shaman and met her eyes. The place was slightly elevated so he from the ground, while she sat, he too needed to sit.
"Speak"
The voice was filled with authority, the tribesman felt his back chilled a bit. He was just a replacement for a guy who was supposed to be here. He took a glance at the shaman again before looking down.
"We can’t seem to find your child...." He looked at her again, checking her reaction. However, the female shaman didn’t express any. He didn’t know if she hid it too well or if this was how she acted.
"...."
"We search everywhere... I think we will be needing your power to find him.."

The job of a shaman was simple, she herself had been blessed by the goddess of the hunt. So she needed to guide her tribe to a better future.
"What about our trackers?"
"They seem to be having a hard time, Young Kanku has gotten a lot better at hiding his track." They had this problem for a while now, Kanku the shaman child had been rather adventurous since his mom was the Shaman’s body really stopped him.
However, they still needed to protect him from danger. More and more, the manpower was allocated to this young man until the tribe judged that it wasn’t a minor task anymore and put Kanku on curfew. He needed to be home by sundown or else they wouldn’t allow him outside again.
Normally they would not have much trouble finding him but after some time Knaku had learned how to hide his track.
"Then get the wolves"
The tribesman nodded and left. Then he arrived at the cage where they kept two white wolves inside. It had been trained to recognize scents and food. Normally they wouldn’t use this since the wolf was rather hard to train.
And every time they brought it out, there was a chance they would lose them. So it was reserved for an urgent need or finding food in the winter. Just a day ago they had to use them to find more food.
"The shaman order?"
As the tribesman was unlocking the cage, he heard a sound from behind. When he turned around, a man was standing around 2meterd from him. The place was getting dark but the tribesmen could see who it was.
"Bota, nice to see you where’s the other?"
"They’d be here in a minute. Still playing some games" Bota shrugged and found a place to sit down.
"So..."
"The Shaman son was missing again" The tribesman started the sentence with a sigh. This was the 3rd time that he had to find this kid. At first, it was not this painful but as time went on the track of the kid started being harder and harder to find.
After all, even a footstep in the snow would look natural if you had enough experience. Kanku had tons of it from escaping the prior times.
"Suck to be you huh Gino"
Gino shook his head, if not for the fact that this job pays well he wouldn’t take it. Who knew that being Shaman’s assistant would entrail bringing her child back home? Maybe he did really make the wrong choice accepting that offer.
Gino and Bota chatted for a bit until all of the search team arrived. Gino himself was a hunter but he was not an expert in tracking. Some that stood before him were much better at reading clues and reading the forest. Ginao could say that he would likely fail in finding Kanku if not for these folks.
After seeing that the team had already perfected he set out immediately. There’s no time to waste when catching Kanku, something bad might happen to the boy and it would be a loss for the tribe.
Leading the way were two wolves, smelling the scent of KAnku cloth that he left behind. Then they travel down south for a bit and come across something interesting.
"Horse?"
They were rarely seen in this part of the continent. The horse’s body was not suited for surviving in the cold. His tribe tried to breed on that cold resistance but they had no luck. So the presence of a horse here means one thing, there’s empire people here.
Bota’s face was filled with disgust. They had minimal run-ins with empire people and they were as nasty as all of them imagine. They were very crude and viewed themself as better than the servant of goddess people. Their policy had been to kill or capture the empire people on sight.
Gino’s face became ugly as well, because if they found this then there might be a big chance that the empire people had already got Kanku. He couldn’t imagine what kind of face the Shamna would make when he knew that her child had been taken by the empire. He shudders thinking about it.
"I will go and report to shaman..."
"No need, we could handle ourselves. there are only three horses and there is only a maximum of 6 people. If we factor in the fact that they might had Kanku then there are only five people at maximum otherwise the horse would be overworked because of the weight of their armor..... What I mean is, give chase."
Gino and the others sprung into the action, running as fast as they could to catch up with Kanku. However, after some point, the footprint ended. How they couldn’t be o sure where to go if they didn’t had the wolf.
After all this time they locked onto the boy. They sniff the ground and let out a bit of while to let the tribe people go this way. They followed the wolf.

"So is it time?"
Athan came up to Egul and asked. Earlier he saw another 5th circle mystic arrive in their cave and be ready to move all of them to a village nearby temporarily. Egul was high and top hi activity to look at Atahn. He never really liked the guy but he couldn’t deny that Atahn was a good doctor.
The people he attended to were all healed, he still remembers how the guy gave him that antidote for the poison. If not for this man then he would be without an arm right now but that also didn’t absorb him of his deed 20 years earlier.
Egul comtempate the answer
"Sure, let’s go’
He could make a trip to Camle top earlier now that he had the enhanced body of the 5 circle mystic and the shield to keep him from the cold. They could make a quick trip that would take them a day to reach it.
"Yay!"
Athan tried to have a bit of fun in his voice but it sounded o hollow for some reason. Egul prepared his thing and told his wife what was about to happen.
"Also... Could you bring that girl along? I’m sure she would love this trip."
Atahn was ofcuas talking about HIlda. The woman had been on his watch list for a while now, a list of people who wanted him dead.
"You sure? that would expended out trib to 2 days minimum"
"Yep, I want her to come"
Egul had no objection, with another 5th circle mystic here, they could be a little lax.
"Can you give us the other half of the poison?"
"stick to the deal"
"How about 25 percent of the recipes that haven’t unlocked yet Since I had to carry Hilda too"
"Sound good" Athan had no objection, after all, he could have given this out for free. He handed Egul a piece of paper that contained a recipe for the poison. Egul proceeds to give it out to the tribesmen to name it.
"Why are you searching for that tablet?"
Egul couldn’t help but suspect something. There needed to be more than this, Atahn needed to be hiding something from him. But he couldn’t get the guy to talk about why he needed it. Moreover, it would be miles better if one knew what it was.
"Hilda, do you want to go to Camel Peak?"
"Was that an order?"
"No, it’s just an offer. You could decline but the Athan said to bring you with him" Egul answered what he knew
"You trust that guy?"
"No, but it’s your choice "
"Fine"
Hilda was also curious about Athan, First she would like to decline the offer. However, her curiosity was far more prominent than one would think. So she accepted her proposal to go to the peak.
