Boom!

The two pieces of flesh crashing together created an unholy sound of a slap. Reeva was glad that he jumped down now that he looked back at the place of the incident. If he was still there the flesh of the two creatures would have crushed him alive.

God dam it...

He felt hollowed now that he had to climb that height again. Just thinking about it made him want to give up. The legs were so tall that he would have to climb it for a long time. At times like this, he thought about having an elevator like back on earth.

At that moment an inspiration came to Reeva. He looked at the corpse of the Elkut again, its flesh moving up the legs of the tower. Reeva smiles. however this time he caught himself in time and didn’t release any mystic fog. Instead, he used his coldness to keep it inside.

The ice floor stayed the same as Reeva increased his speed. The fun idea he had was simple, he would just rise with the flesh up to the top! or wherever it will take him. He felt like it would be way faster than using his hand to climb.

He might be stuck inside the flesh of the tower if he did this but, he could just off himself when the time was right to avoid staying here. Because Reeva felt like this was too boring for him. The time it took to climb this ain’t tower and his curiosity didn’t match.

He wanted to know what was up there but getting up there was a chore. The tower with the legs was too big for him. And his mind couldn’t block the boring part out either because he needed to be actively looking at the next limb he could climb.

This took a toll on his brain... and Reeva also noticed himself being rather restless after some time. Something inside him changed. Reeva didn’t notice it because he hadn’t been to the endless field for a long time but he felt that he was less tolerant of boredom.

Maybe it was his imagination.

Reeva arrived at the flesh of the elkut that was in the middle of being assimilated into the big deer. He looked up to it and grabbed ahold of the flesh that was moving up. Unlike the limb that was on the tower legs, the big elkut was made entirely out of flesh and organ.

Reeva buried one of his arms into the flesh that was in the process of transitioning upward. However, he thought too fast. His mind which was looking to relieve some boredom had failed him and his left hand got cut into the flesh.

With the mystic power being inside of everything here his hand was as good as air, giving no resistance when the flesh closed and assimilated into the foot of the tower. Reeva was half glad that he couldn’t feel pain in here, otherwise, he would be screaming his lungs out right now.

He gathers himself again and observes the thing carefully, after having such a blunder he learns his lesson and looks at the flesh again. There he notices a pattern. The legs of the tower were made out of legs.

The limb that he was claiming was the legs. Reeva looked at the tower more to confirm his observation and he could finally see that it was correct. Then he got another idea from this, why didn’t he climb up by grabbing an arm or a head?

because that thing could guaranteed to go high, however now that he got only one hand, his grip needed to be impeccable to get up there in one piece. Moreover, he couldn’t be guaranteed that he wouldn’t be stuck somewhere in the transfer process. Because when he looked at how the leg actually absorbs the flesh he noticed that most of it was going inside the body of the tower.

And the arm or head will likely be passed through the inside. Reeva might end up stuck in there, a fate worse than death if the thought about it.

After realizing such a possibility he sighed and changed the way back to climb it himself. As much fun as it would be to ride this thing to the top, he wouldn’t reach it with that method. With that in mind, he started climbing again. This time, however, he had a little trouble with the climbing.

Since he only had one hand left now, the task became much harder than before. Now instead of grabbing onto the limb like earlier he had to nested his arm into the gab that the limb had. since the whole thing was made out of limbs, more specifically legs for this part of the body, it had some gap in between the limbs.

Reeva was able to climb up after a long time, the four legs of the tower then the large one in the middle created a cross shape. The tower then stands all the middle of that shape. After Reeva climbed up enough, the legs stopped being vertical and began to arch to merge in the middle.

Reeva wiped the non-existent sweat when he got up to that point. Now, He had the thigh made up of thigh that was a connection of the body. With the way the tower body was constructed, the thing was angled about 30 degrees upward making it far easier to traverse than the leg.

Reeva could actually walk on the dam thing. Now he just needed to reach the tower and the would be golden. However, just as he was about to celebrate, the leg suddenly started moving again. However, this time Reeva had a far easier time grabbing onto the legs as it only swayed upward and not sideways like the legs below. He gripped on until the leg finally top as it arrived at something.

This time it was not Elkut or the deer. It was a bird.
