Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 296: Speak!
The flesh bird was no more, its life earlier was now reduced to nothing. Reeva’s eyes widen, The arrow that the tower fired wasn’t just wasted! Instead of it pilling on the ice somewhere to formed into another tower and shot its own arrow at the bird.
Now that Reeva saw the whole plan, the bird had no chance at all. It put up more of a fight than the rest of the animals that he had seen so far but they never had this trick that the hunt goddess used.
It goes against Reeva’s expectations; he expected the deity to be significantly less brilliant because she was created solely through the people’s beliefs.
The flesh that it shot off now quickly returned to the tower, along with more of the bird flesh traveling into the tower. Reeva stood on the top of the cylinder and rode the height that the tower was rebuilding. Reeva was able to stay on top because the tower didn’t rebuild the top layer but reinforced the bottom layer and built it back up.
The top of the tower grew taller and taller until Reeva could see the world from the goddess’s perspective. With the starry night sky still hanging above the land, Reeva could see the ice field in a new perspective. similar to when he was at the dark castle. The world felt so little and the land was vast.
Like law, the land of ice stretched as far as the eyes could see. Reeva felt like his small insignificant being was oddly weak and relaxing at the same time. It’s like looking out of a skyscraper back on Earth but instead of seeing the neighboring building, he saw the endless ice land.
He smiled as he enjoyed the view, the yellow fog started to fill out his body revealing himself to the world. He then looked at the female figure in the middle of the tower, it also gazed at him.
Reeva could feel confusion and a bit of curiosity when the thing saw him. Which was understandable if it hunted these massive beings every day. A living being as small as himself was not common in this land.
"Um... Hello?"
He didn’t know how to talk with a being born purely from mystic power. It’s similar to a demon in the way that it was made but differnt in the place it was born. Here there was no mystic starvation like the real world which meant that it could keep its own desire in check.

Now that he thought about it, Reeva could freely infuse his mystic power in the spirit world without going crazy. He didn’t think much of it at first but with the sun god information, he could fill in another piece of the puzzle.
Still, many things elude him, including the process of how he appeared here in the first place and the dark castle that was said to be even before the sun god. He needed to visit there sometime in the future. However, now he just needed to speak to this creature.
He held out his hand and a light came out of it. Then it forms into the shape of a ball and rests on his hand. This was the thing that the run god gave him.
The truth ball
With this, he could determine if things were true or false. Reeva didn’t know exactly how the god could decipher the language from this but if he had to guess, he properly asked himself if the translation was true or false. It’s his domain after all.
Wooh woosh
A sound came out of the goodness mouth, this made Reeva stunned for a second. It was not a word or a letter that came out of her mouth. If Reeva had to describe it, it would be like listening to the bow being drawn and released.
"Do you perhaps speak Eyrish?"
Whoop whossp
The bow sound continued and Reeva didn’t get what she was saying at all. However, what he could do was read her expression. Based on that Reeva asked more questions however after a second round he knew that he didn’t understand him either.
"Could you use your mystic power?"
Whopsspp
She made an angry face after he asked the question however Reeva didn’t think that she could understand him. She was just annoyed that both of them couldn’t understand anything that the other was saying.
Reeva asked another question to get more samples for the sun god but the goddess seemed to have another plan. Her right arm conjured a bow and arrow ready to hit Reeva.
At that point, he knew that this conversation would end with him dying in the process. Reeva quickly retracted every mystic that he released back into his body. However just before he goes invisible to the hunting god, he gets hit by the arrow. Reeva got hit in the shoulder because the arrow was fast.
And if he was a bit slower the arrow would have hit his heart. Even if he didn’t feel pain, it would still be cumbersome for his body. Thinking about it, if he was a bit slower than that he could be lying on the floor because of the pain.
Reeva rolled to the wise to avoid another arrow being fired at him. This time he succeeded because he knew that it was coming. Reeva heaved a sigh of relief as he was going g to jump down the tower. His job here was done, now he just needed to get this recording to the sun god.
Woosh!
Another arrow whistles through the air with remarkable speed. This time Reeva didn’t prepare for it and got hit in the back. His body fell to the ground and rolled on the side. The arrow with its mystic property went right through his body creating a hole in the left of his stomach.
His natural reaction was to scream but there was no pain coming from the wound. Reeva’s mind raced to find out how the hunting god was able to find him. The answer he got was pretty simple, he may be invisible to the god right now but the arrow that stuck inside his shoulder isn’t.
Upon realizing that his hand grabbed the arrow on his shoulder and tried to pull it off. However, his body right now was devoid of mystic power which meant that the arrow couldn’t be interacted with.
At that moment another arrow came for him, this time Reeva could only dodge for a bit, and the arrow flew to hit his leg. Creating another hole in his body. However, there was no pain on his body so, Reeva used this time to spread the coldness all over his body, then made himself visible to the hunt goddess again.
"GRRR He grunted as the pain could now be felt.
This move was as risky as it sounded, he was sure that if the hunt goddess knew how to use her mystic power he would have been dead by now. The arrow that accurately flew at Reeva was just her raw skill with the bow.
Reeva quickly pulled one of the arrows off, he also pre-rolled the shot that the goddess was about to make but then the goddess waited for him to finish the roll and shot.
Woosh!
"AGUHHH"
The arrow hit him in the same shoulder, digging itself deeper than the last one. Reeva looked at the goddess and made a crucial decision, by now he was close to the edge of the tower so he decided to go invisible for another time and jumped off.
The pain in his shoulder gradually wears off after he retracts his coldness again. Reeva had time to catch his breath however, as he was falling from the tower he saw something.
The tower that was made up of limbs grew hands, and hundreds and thousands of them grew on the side of the tower. Then they grew a bow and arrow too. Reeva realize that this wasn’t the end of the goddess pursuit.
Hundreds and thousands of arrows flew at Reeva, He could only pray that one of them didn’t hit him. Falling at a high speed, the arrow couldn’t find Reeva, However, that was about to change. A massive flesh protrudes out of the tower making a big arm. Reeva’s eyes widened when the arm caught him in mid-air.
His legs were now stuck between the tower’s big index finger and its thumb. At this point, he couldn’t feel his own legs anymore. It didn’t stop there either, the big palm of the hand also carried a dozen hands and arms to fire another round of a hundred arrows.
Reeva’s eyes widened, he bent his body backward until it was as horizontal as it could be to avoid the arrow. He didn’t think this would get him out so he went one step further. His mystic power spread all over his body again.
"Gahh"
The pain from his leg came rushing in but he gritted his teeth. He grabbed an arrow that just flew over by using his hand and letting it price through. Then he used the sharp tip of an arrow to cup his legs off.
