Holen’s heart beat faster, and even though he couldn’t move anymore, he felt his finger lift a bit. Trying to talk with these guys was not feasible, they would likely kill him the first chance they had.

"No... no...."

Holen felt like he was about to die, his eyes wandered to Jell who’s right now was not in good condition. The armor had almost merged into his body, he could not speak anymore. Lunto Pale’s body moved closer to Holen.

"Let me see what you got here..."

He waited a bit he brought Jell closer to Holen. For the first time, the detective could see Jell up close, and his stomach churned at the sight. It was unbearable to see his friend in this condition. The worst part was that Jell was still breathing—a faint, fragile sign of life that made it all the more painful.

"K... me...."

Jell couldn’t find the strength to speak, but Holen could sense the agony radiating from his fractured expression. Blood dripped relentlessly from Jell’s body, pooling beneath him. The gray ruins, long untouched by such brutality, were now streaked with crimson and filled with the sharp, metallic scent of iron for the first time in years.

"Don’t worry friends, we’re getting to that part"

As if sensing the poor man’s words, Lunto smiles. He then cast the same spell that he cast on Oven. Jell’s body convulsed and turned into a red mist like an Oven. Then it disappeared again.

This time however Holen felt firsthand what Kanku was feeling. His body felt like it was not controlled by himself anymore and then the world went black. He felt himself again, in the darkness of the world.

Stangley was able to perfectly saw hi own hands within the pitch darkness. However, the rest of his body was not visible to him, just the hand. Holen looked around and could see that Lunto was sitting in the darkness.

His hand weaving something in the air, the light from it was blinding when contrasted against the dark background. Holen moved closer and closer to find that what Lunto was weaving was something weird.

He was weaving memories. To be more precise it’s Holen’s memory that he was weaving and it was rather confusing to watch.

"You got a rather good mental" Lunto said without looking at Holen.

"...?" The detective felt hollow, as though all his urgency had drained away. He desperately wanted to stop Lunto, to prevent him from carrying out his plans. Yet, he could only stand there, paralyzed, watching helplessly as events unfolded before him.

"Most people would not even see me when I was in here.... let’s see..."

Throughout Holen’s impressive memories, Lunto went and found some useful information. However, it took more time than Kankau because this was a grown man and because Holen’s mental was far better than anyone else.

"You encounter... a void being...?"

After searching for a bit, he tumbles upon the time when Holenw was with Reeva, trying to figure out the heretic plan.

"What’s that?"

Holen couldn’t see exactly where Lunto was looking at his memory. From the way he said it it could be any recent events that happened around him.

"The guy in the orange field.... huh... This Reeva guy was rather intriguing"

Lunto said that and delved deeper into Holen’s memories. Moments later, a flicker of admiration crossed his face as he discovered that Holen had an impressive connection to a highly efficient information network. The realization made Lunto lick his lips, already imagining the ways he could exploit this newfound resource.

"You got quite good information... but you’re no ue anymore... Goodbye"

"Wait"

Holen was about to say something but his surroundings went black, this time he didn’t see anything just a pitch-black room.

Outside Luunto returned back to the emperor.

"Anything?"

"Quite a lot, we’ve hit a treasure with this guy," Lunto said with a natural tone, processing the information he gained. "We needed more followers, the fighting force of this world is troublesome"

"There’s a guy that could match me?"

"Likely," Lunto said "There’s this guy called Pope who’s likey an 8th symbol mystic user"

"What are you worrying about then?" The emperor couldn’t see the point. After all, they fought with the 8th symbol all the time... In the old days, they fought countless foes to gain their empire, there’s no way a mere lone 8th symbol mystic user would be a problem.

"Thing is, nobody knows what the pope’s power does."

"No one?"

"Yep, that guy was a detective and he got an impressive amount of knowledge However the pope’s power was not one of them."

"Any guess?"

"Likely probability manipulation of some kind. I don’t know what the guy could do, but it’s very vague. Some said he could conjure something from nothing and some said that he’s always right about his prediction. It’s like opening a pandora if you want to know his power."

"Then we’d better build something first," The emperor spoke after hearing the words of his trusted aide. He understood that Lunto would never underestimate mystic power, knowing full well that even a significant difference in circle rank wouldn’t guarantee victory. A lower-ranked opponent could obliterate a higher one if their power served as a counter. With that thought, the emperor turned to leave the room, taking Athan with him as he departed.

He still needed to know how the blessed one got out of the mystic cage that he constructed. He could figure that out in due time. Lunto tuned to follow the emperor, however before that, he made sure that all the people in this room were dead.

"Emperor, do you need that child? He’d be quite useful if we raise him"

"Take him"

The emperor didn’t spare Kanku a single glance. Lunto, however, smiled at the emperor’s order and used his mystic power to lift the child effortlessly. Carrying the boy along, he approached the doorway. Before stepping through, Lunto paused, scanning the room one final time. Satisfied that no one remained, he closed the portal behind him.

When the door closed, a green gen called on the ground after hiding in the ceiling for a while now. Before The emperor or Lunto could finish her, the mother had split a fraction of herself and escaped upward. However, this faction of herself was not even 1 percent as powerful as before.

Which is pitiful when a few days ago she could go toe to toe with the 6th circle mystic. The green gem used its small vines to move around and arrive in front of Holen. The detective’s body was still mostly intact and more importantly was the only one left for her to get into.

After there was nothing left inside this place other than the empty room and the shining light on the rings above.

With that in mind, she climbed onto the detective’s body and burrowed inside hoping to preserve herself in the detective’s body.

"There’s nothing here"

Nena said after searching this place for a while now. They only found broken places and some stuff that other people had left behind. However, even he knew that the stuff had been here for a long time now.

"There must be something more"

The Cardinal felt like they were onto something with this opening in the cave. After all why build this majestic place atop the sky and Camel Peak when you didn’t have anything to hide in? This was a perfect place to hide an undying artifact.

However, before she could speak more, she felt a disturbance in mystic power and looked at the door. There instead of the trap room that they walked through they found that the room was completely different.

Moreover, there’s something within the room. A skeleton wearing a ribe walked out of the room, along with a pale man.

"Looks like there’s some guest in my humble abode. Welcome"

The skeleton aid with a smile, as much as it could manage. However, despite the casual conversation, the whole idea they were getting from this guy was that he was dangerous.

Sanchez felt worse because he was better than all of them. However, Reeva also felt fear because the being in front of him was supposed to be from another dimension. He thought that the Lich King was from another dimension and didn’t exist here.

But once he thought about it, the invasion of dimension was basically an alternate universe for the author to explore the possibility, which means that in some of them, this thing won the whole battle and was an emperor of that dimension.

"Run!"

The Cardinal felt his sense of danger and quickly shouted. Nena didn’t wait for long and quickly grabbed all her luggage people and dashed out of the cave.

"Such a noble thing to do... Who I have the pleasure of meeting."

"Sanchez"

"Nice name" A black of came from the sceprot again forming into a human shape.
