Extreme Cold Era: Shelter Don't Keep Waste-Chapter 594 - 558: Underground Battle
When Sanderion commanded the gigantic first-generation Godslaying Armor to the underground altar, the first thing she saw was the conspicuous four-faced skull statue.
"She was right, this thing is indeed dangerous!" Although Sanderion did not know what this four-faced statue really was, she sensed its danger immediately.
To be precise, this statue could be regarded as an Ancient God about to descend but not truly present.
The underground altar could withstand the turmoil from the wolf armor and the bone colossus without collapsing, all thanks to the statue's power supporting the area.
Even the bone colossus that made the mysterious figure anxious was being driven by the statue's divine power.
"Automatic combat seems to have certain flaws! If she were here herself, she would have quickly identified the key point and destroyed this thing," Sanderion did not believe the mysterious figure couldn't see the statue's issue.
Clearly, looking at things through signal transmission several hundred meters away is not as intuitive as observing with the naked eye.
Having discovered the problem, Sanderion wasted no time and directly input combat instructions into the first-generation Godslaying Armor, commanding it to charge at the bone colossus while also connecting to the wolf armor to attack the statue.
The first-generation Godslaying Armor was colossal, making it less agile compared to the wolf armor, but in exchange, it had stronger attack power and higher defense.
Like a heavy siege hammer, it excelled at smashing hard defenses or enduring damage and overcoming fortifications.
Theoretically, the first-generation Godslaying Armor should be used to smash the statue, while the wolf armor continues to restrain the bone colossus, but in reality, it wasn't the case.
Because Sanderion clearly knew the first-generation Godslaying Armor lacked divinity, it purely relied on numbers and equipment for its combat power, fundamentally different from the second-generation Godslaying Armor infused with divinity.
Therefore, the second-gen Godslaying Armor was more specialized in 'godslaying,' able to inflict more effective damage on targets with divinity.
In short, the wolf armor was more efficient at smashing divine objects or targets like the statue because divinity negates divinity, unlike ordinary attacks that first get suppressed or weakened by divinity.
Back then, Sanderion tried to break the Legendary shackles but was suppressed by divinity, resulting in a hundred-year curse.
Now, having understood what happened back then, she wouldn't make the same mistake again.
As for how the first-generation Godslaying Armor could inflict enough damage on the bone colossus without divinity?
Besides its own attack strength being high enough, it was equipped with powerful Divine Artifacts. And isn't Sanderion there too?
Having broken through the Legendary shackles and acquired divinity, she was theoretically considered a divine being and could at least be called a demigod at her Extraordinary Level state.
With her current strength, even if not a combat powerhouse, suppressing or even eliminating a divine creature posed no problem. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
"Haven't fought someone in years, wonder if I'm rusty?" Sanderion took out a staff seemingly made of glass and struck the ground, forming several alchemical arrays at her feet that combined into a larger array.
This was ancient skill, lost to modern Alchemists.
Using this move, she could simultaneously drive various alchemical techniques to enhance herself, weaken opponents, provide defense and increase attack, enough to keep her undefeated.
With the array in place, Sanderion began suppressing the bone colossus.
Utilizing air compression and surface dust for dust explosions, decomposing water into hydrogen and oxygen for high-temperature damage, or shaping clay golems and then transforming them into rock golems...
Sanderion fully demonstrated the variety a top Alchemist could unleash once their attack was fully unfolded.
She even began crafting a new crystal golem using her newly learned Imaginary Alchemy.
This was a design she envisioned long ago but couldn't complete due to a curse, yet now with increased power and Imaginary Alchemy, she hoped to try completing it, or even transform it into a Godslaying Puppet.
The idea was originally designed for combating gods.
Theoretically, crafting puppets on the spot was impossible for combat, but for Sanderion, a highly experienced Alchemist, it was achievable.
She didn't have Perfikot's Philosopher's Stone for such easy crafting, though.
But with her demigod-level strength after breaking the Legendary shackles, she managed to shape a crystal-formed female puppet in front of her during the first-gen Godslaying Armor's brief suppression of the bone colossus.
This puppet wielded a giant hammer, wearing similar old-style alchemist robes and a pointed hat as Sanderion, appearing odd, but when Sanderion used Imaginary Alchemy to craft a similar godly core as the wolf armor for its heart and energy source, the puppet came to life.
"Go, Aruru! Destroy that ugly, tasteless thing!" Sanderion loudly commanded her creation.
Without hesitation, the crystal golem charged at the bone colossus, wielding its hammer, seamlessly functioning.
Soon, this crystal golem named Aruru by Sanderion joined the Godslaying Armor in fiercely striking the bone colossus, even breaking one of its arms.
The first-generation Godslaying Armor's long spear pierced the colossus' chest, heavily injuring it without outright killing it!
Meanwhile, the wolf armor's axe seemed to cool down and once more changed into a giant sword, slashing at the four-faced skull statue!
"Clang!" Just as the wolf armor's sword was about to slice the statue, it suddenly came to life, using the Divine Artifact blade it held to block the sword.
