Fake dating my enemy, The playboy billionaire-Chapter 149: The truth part 1
JUN’S POV
"Hey, you see this? We married mommy." Trust me, the happiest one here is Bear. The little guy’s eyes are practically glowing with excitement as I show him our marriage certificates. He barks, spinning around us and wiggling his tail—well, you can tell exactly how happy he is.
"Goodluck Jun. She’s a handful sometimes." Kai teases.
"Understatement. That’s a live wire you just married to, Jun. May god bless you." Ning lets out a devilish laugh.
I glance at Yiren, unsure of how she’ll react. But I’m ready for whatever comes. Honestly, I know she’s probably going to tear me apart. But hey, it’s worth it. I promised myself I would take it slow, like my brothers told me and I had every intention to. That was before I told her father about my feelings and decided to make her mine forever. Now we can take slow, I have entire life to take it slow.
Thank goodness, her family came through for me, especially her papa. He handed me her mom’s ring, the same ring he proposed her with. No ring will ever compare to that one. It fits her perfectly, just like it was meant to be.
I brush a strand of Yiren’s hair away from her face, my fingers grazing her soft cheek as she rests her head on my chest while Chen drives us home. It still feels surreal. I’m officially married. And I haven’t even told my family yet. I’m saving that little bombshell for later, maybe when it won’t take away from Shishi and Suyin’s wedding celebration. After all, I know I’m about to get roasted from every angle—Mom, Dad, my brothers, my sisters-in-law, and even the kids. I’m in for a world of surprises. I can already feel the heat from my family for pulling off a flash marriage.
Yiren stirs in my arms, her eyes fluttering, a slightly dazed expression on her face. "I drank a lot. Everything is spinning," she mumbles.
"You’re such a bad drinker."
"Look who’s talking. It’s you who made me drink all that."
"Uh-huh, blame me, Bunny. I’m all yours to blame." I tease. "I’m sorry."
She looks up at me, her smile a bit lopsided. "Uncle Juju apologizing easily. I’m really drunk and super happy."
My brow furrows. "Why happy?"
She shifts, nestling deeper into my chest, and for a moment, I think I’m losing her to the alcohol. But then, her words hit me like a lightning bolt.
"Because I love y-- oww"
She cuts herself off with a soft yelp as the car hits a speed bump, her nose bumping into my chest. I chuckle, pulling her a little closer. "Careful," I warn Chen before turning back to Yiren. "You love... what?"
My heart skips a beat. I have to know. I want to know.
She blinks, still a little dazed. "What?"
"You were saying something," I press, holding my breath. "You love...?"
Bear barks from my side, almost as if he’s reminding her in his own dog language.
Yiren pulls him into her arms, smothering him with kisses. "I love Bear. My cute baby. I love you so, so much."
I stare at her, completely dumbfounded. Oh well, guess it’s true—next life, I’m coming back as a dog. I’ll take my chances with that, at least Bear’s getting all the love.
Her lips pull into a smile when I tuck her in our bed and place a kiss on her luscious lips. I don’t know what the life has in bag for me, but my heart is content I snagged this Bunny for myself. I take off my jacket and heads to the bathroom.
"I love you, Juju."
My feet halt. Heart drop into the pits of my stomach. I stride back to her and rub knuckles along her cheek, "Can you repeat that, babe?"
She purrs and nestles deeper into the pillow.
Dream?
Illusion?
Teasing?
Ah well....

YIREN’S POV
A pounding headache and something wet on my cheeks wakes me up. I feel like being out of a roller-coaster as a wave of nausea hits me.
Throwing back whatever fluffy was licking my face, I ran for the bathroom, almost falling on my way.
Jun kept giving me new drinks last night and like a love struck teenager I kept accepting with a foolish grin. Seriously Yiren, you are a lost case for that man. One smile from him and you fall flat on your azz.
You can’t remember much of the last night other than some blurry visions.
Feeling utterly smelly and awful, I shower with cold water to wake myself. Wrapping myself as I walk out of the bathroom only to see Bear flat on the floor, giving me a look that screams I offend him.
Shucks. I think I know what was the fluffy thing I pushed off me.
"Hey babe, sorry," I run a hand through his thick fur and something familiar and sparkly on my finger catches my attention. I raise my hand to my eye level to inspect the ring on my ring finger. The tiny heart-shaped blue diamond surrounded with vines of white wild flowers—it’s mom’s ring. My favourite. Something that I always wanted to keep with me as a memory, but when papa took it off her finger, he never let it out of his eyes. He used to keep it in his pocket.
I blink.
My mind stutters.
Why is it on my ring finger?
The pulsing ache in my head and blurry visions returning.
Oh....
’A man muttering something in Chinese....’
’Papa, Ning, Kai signing it....’
’Red book... autograph....’
Jun whispering something in my ear and then kissing me.....

I sit down on the floor with Bear.
Did Jun and I???????
Shocked out of senses I stare at the ring.
Bear licks my face as if waking me from daze. It’s then I saw he is wearing his tiny backup. The last time he wore it, I was kidnapped and Jun sent a mask for me in it.
I unzip it and wild flowers poured from it followed by a red book. With shaking hands I hold it to my chest.
My head snaps to the door when bear barks at Jun who is standing with a cup of coffee, his eyes checking me cautiously.
