The driver pushed the car to its limits and even used streets to take shortcuts.
Mark and Risa could have used 'float' to rush to Jareth's house, but the car was equipped with the powerful concealment enchantments that Jareth placed on it.
The driver was an experienced person who had been with Jareth since day one, and he was given the responsibility to safely bring Mark and Risa to Jareth's mansion without getting discovered by enemies.

The battle in the sky began soon after Mark and Risa left, and debris flew in all directions.
Miasmic liquid started raining on the entire city, and powerful attacks in the sky sent shockwaves throughout the city, killing hundreds of people stuck on the ground.
The collateral damage was massive, but it was inevitable.
With people at Jareth's level fighting near a city, it's obvious that there will be massive collateral damage and many people will die from not only the monsters but also from the friendly fire.
Hundreds of wizards and knights flooded the streets and held down the monsters that kept falling from the sky like a gate had opened to hell above the city.
The scenery in the city was like a literal hellhole; buildings were shattered randomly, and hundreds of lives, be they men, women, old, or children, were lost without giving anyone a single second to react.
Seeing the massacre happening outside, Risa held down Mark, as she knew that Mark would rush to protect the people if she didn't stop him.
They both had the burden of keeping the 'secret weapon' given to them safe and hidden.
If they interfered with the things happening outside, Miasma would likely notice their presence, and Jareth had already warned them not to do anything excessive.
The car rocked crazily as the driver took difficult turns and moved at an insane speed to avoid getting crushed by monsters and debris falling from the sky.
He was so skilled at his work that even Mark and Risa felt that it was faster to take the car instead of floating outside and dodging everything on their own.
*SHATTER* *CRACK*
A loud and creepy voice rang out from all directions as a massive eye stared down at the city from the massive crack in the sky.
The driver could not keep up anymore, as he had reached his limits. Those eyes increased the density of miasma in the area so much that the driver had to stop the car, as he felt difficulty in breathing.
The presence of miasma in the air made it difficult for even healthy people to breathe properly, and if the density of miasma kept increasing, most ordinary people in the city would end up dying due to not being able to breathe.
Mark and Risa did not have the time to stop and take care of the driver, so Mark created a temporary underground bunker with his earth spell, and Risa placed the driver inside before blocking the entrance with the car.
Then they both rushed towards Jareth's mansion.
The moment the two of them left the car, they lost the protection of the concealment, and hundreds of monsters started targeting them.

Mark raised his hand and created a massive metal golem from the earth elementals and placed himself and Risa both inside its heart.

Risa combined her magic with Mark's, and her shadow magic covered the entire golem from outside and gave it two massive wings so it could fly with insane speed.
Mark manipulated his golem and turned its hands into massive machine guns that obliterated all monsters that came in their way.

The double machine guns rotated with insane speed and fired metal bullets at a speed much much faster than sound.
Each bullet created a powerful sonic boom as it pierced right through the monsters' and demons' bodies alike.
While dealing with weaker monsters and demons, Mark cast spells to block or delay stronger monsters that could get in his way.
Risa controlled the movement and flight of the golem while Mark worked on detection and attack.
Their combined power overwhelmed every opponent, and they flattened the ground as they made their way to Jareth mansion while avoiding miasmic liquid falling from above with difficult aerial maneuvers.
"Those monsters are starting to target us!!!"
Mark instantly noticed that a lot of monsters were targeting and hindering the two of them from moving forward.
Just when Risa was about to think of some countermeasure, dozens of wizards and knights rushed in the same direction as them.

Jareth's speech resounded in the entire city and gave everyone motivation to keep struggling!
Mark and Risa gritted their teeth and rushed with all their strength.

Noises of loud explosions and people coughing and screaming kept ringing everywhere, but they had no choice but to rush forward.

A massive miasmic spear fell from the sky and hit Mark's golem accurately.

Without wasting a single second, Mark and Risa abandoned the broken golem as they rushed out of the golem that was stuck to the ground due to the miasmic spear and jumped into a new one!

The golem kicked the ground and rushed forward once again.

Dozens of large claws made of shadows grew out of the golem and deflected the falling debris from the sky with great precision.

Mark understood what was going on; hundreds of high-grade monsters infected with miasma were now throwing miasmic spears at Mark's golem and making it difficult to move forward.
It was all under the control of those big eyes in the sky.

She did precise calculations and mana control, using those claws to push the golem forward while also protecting it from damage.

Mark gritted his teeth and used more powerful earth magic to force his way through.

Mark used his mana output to the extreme; he himself wasn't a grade-2 mage yet, but he used a grade-2 spell by pushing his mana output to the limits.
A massive magic circle appeared, and hundreds of golems made of various kinds of metals and stones jumped out of the magic circle one after another.
They formed a massive net beside Mark and started protecting him from all sides.
Whenever a monster tried to attack, they would swarm the monster and let Mark pass.
Risa also took advantage of this opportunity and cast a powerful spell herself.

Risa coughed a mouthful of blood and fell to her knees as she blessed Mark with the last bit of mana left in her body.
Hundreds of shadows rushed from all directions and covered Mark's body like armor.

With those words said, Risa reached her limits and fainted from mana deficiency.
The mana in the air was getting thinner and thinner; resisting the miasma in the air required massive amounts of mana, and not everyone had a massive mana pool like Mark.
Weaker wizards were already starting to faint as their mana was getting suppressed by those eyes in the sky; the same was true for Risa.
Normally she wouldn't have fainted this easily and would have been able to continue fighting for a much longer time, but the presence of those massive eyes was too big of a burden for her.
Mark gritted his teeth, laid Risa down inside the golem's cockpit, and kept piloting the golem with a determined look on his face.
"Of course I will live!! The entire humanity will live!! We will all survive this hell and live a peaceful life!"

After going through hundreds of hardships, Mark's golem finally reached Jareth's mansion and passed right through the massive barrier that Jareth had activated.
Mark immediately got out of the golem and placed it away to keep Risa safe inside it.
He looked at the mages that were gathering around the mansion, and a serious look appeared on his face.
"The real battle is just about to begin…"
Mark knew that by entering Jareth's mansion he had only completed the first step; the battle would now enter its most intense moment, and he must brace himself for the upcoming challenge.
