A day has passed since the announcement that shook the entire world.

A man claiming to be Gilgamesh suddenly declared a race to become the new minor god of the earth. Most people were confused at first and all the governments of the world responded swiftly, but nothing could stop Gilgamesh’s plan.

The entire world is swallowed by a massive revolted people.

Meanwhile, in his humble wooden house, Nabil watches the TV and all the news broadcasts the same thing.

Hundreds of thousands of people suddenly had superpowers and most of them were intent on their own revolution, or so they thought...

Ego to create their own government for the purpose of becoming a minor god.

Governments mobilized their military forces and chaos ensued everywhere.

Each country was engulfed in chaos and couldn’t call for help as each country was engulfed in the flames of a relentless civil war.

While all the chaos was broadcast on TV, Nabil could only sit and watch the small TV that his family had.

Nabil sighed and turned off the TV with the remote and went straight into his room.

The clock still showed 9 am but all activities seemed to be paralyzed.

Nabil lay on his bed in a room that had no windows. He could only stare at the lights on the ceiling before the power suddenly went out.

Nabil got up and went outside to find several power lines down and armed police shooting at rampaging system users in the distance.

"This is even worse than the post-earthquake in 2018," muttered Nabil as he went back inside his house.

He entered his dark room and sat on the edge of the bed.

"System!" said Nabil as a blue screen panel appeared in front of him.

He could see the blue panel floating in front of him, bright enough for his eyes to see, but at the same time, the light from the blue panel did not seem to emit any light because his room was still dark as if the blue panel was in a different dimension from his room.

Unfortunately, Nabil was not a smart student, so he did not understand what was happening and why the blue panel could look bright but not illuminate his room.

He also didn’t want to find out why it happened. What he wanted to know now was the system panel in front of him.

Nabil let out a long sigh and used the 1 point he had to (Intelligence). As he was about to choose to increase his Ability points, he stopped and decided to do it later.

Normally he would do something impulsively but somehow something in his brain made him reconsider his decision.

"Hmn... suddenly I don’t want to use these ability points now, it feels strange. Why?" Muttered the young man who didn’t even realize that his thinking ability had just increased a bit.

But of course 1 point of intelligence is not enough to make him an Einstein, he hasn’t even realized that his intelligence has increased yet.

Not long after, Nabil’s father came home with a box of indomie and several bottles of liquor.

Where did all that come from? Certainly not in an honest way, given the current conditions where everyone will do anything to survive.

Nabil wanted to fight back but the system user in front of him was a 2-meter tall man with a body covered in thick black hair like a gorilla with large, muscular body.

One blow to the body could kill Nabil instantly.

He could only bow his head and walk to the side, allowing the gorilla man to take whatever he wanted.

Nabil’s stomach suddenly rumbled, a sign that he desperately needed food.

The sound of his stomach made the gorilla man stare at Nabil.

Nabil remained silent and kept his head down.

"You should understand that system users like us are superior to you, normal humans," said the gorilla man.

The person behind Johan wore a hood that covered the entire body.

"You, you’re a system user, right?" Johan asked Nabil.

Nabil could only nod slowly with great concern.

’Who is he? Is he the one who use the lightning attack earlier? Is he a system user?’ thought Nabil who was starting to break out in a cold sweat.

"What’s your system?" asked Johan casually.

"A... me?" replied a hesitant Nabil.

"Don’t worry, I just want to find a useful system user."

"Useful system user?"

Johan looked at the gorilla man who was convulsing from the previous electrical attack. "System users will be the new generation of humans who will create change. It is unfortunate that most of them are fools."

Hearing that sentence, Nabil immediately felt offended. "So what if fool people get the system?!"
