Chapter 57: 054. Ardi The Nitrogen User.

The quiet ride finally came to an end. The pickup truck driven by Randa stopped at a field guarded by several large men. On the edge of the field were two giant grate boxes, each 2 meters high, 10 meters long and 5 meters wide.

The giant boxes had bases and roofs consisting of a collection of boards arranged while the walls were rows of iron pipes standing upright with only about 4 inch of distance between one and another.

One of the grate boxes looked empty, but one of the grate boxes contained a person who was lying languidly. That person was none other than Jessica.

When the pickup truck stopped, Jessica immediately realized who was coming and telepathically entered Johan’s mind.

Johan’s eyes immediately widened and he stood in place and scanned the surrounding area.

It didn’t take long for Johan’s eyes to see Jessica’s eyes sparkling with hope.

"Alchemist System activated," Johan said swiftly and his entire body was instantly enveloped in static electricity and forced his cells to react and move quickly.

Johan jumped up from where he was, broke the ropes that bound his feet and hands and moved very quickly towards Jessica.

With lightning speed, Randa and the men guarding the place didn’t even have time to react, all they saw was a flash of bright blue light and the next thing they knew Johan was suddenly in front of Jessica.

"Uncle!" cried Jessica, unable to hold back her tears.

Both of her hands tried to reach out through the gap between the iron pipes and tried to reach her uncle.

Johan paused for a moment, trying to catch his breath and immediately put his arms into the box through the gap between the iron pipes.

The two embraced even though there were two iron pipes standing between them.

Unfortunately, this touching moment could only last a few seconds because Jessica immediately panicked and tried to warn Johan about their situation.

"Uncle! Uncle! It’s dangerous! They are ready!" cried Jessica with a slightly pale face.

Johan calmly released his hug and looked at Jessica right in her sapphire-blue eyes.

"No need to worry," Johan said with such confidence.

The man turned around casually to find dozens of skull-headed goat monsters standing around him.

Johan watched vigilantly as the large group of men seemed ready for battle.

’If those people control this many monsters, trying to fight back is a reckless idea,’ Johan thought without lowering his guard in the slightest.

Johan raised both hands into the air and slowly knelt on the spot.

"Woi, Randa, who are they?!" shouted one of the big men who did not take his eyes off Johan.

Randa got out of the car and looked at the obedient Johan. He didn’t understand that the man who was supposed to dominate the city of Palu and nearby area looked so...

obedient...

"They are the captives that Reizel brought, it seems they are there as a tribute for Reizel as the new village head," Randa shouted while directing the remaining captives who had gotten off the pickup one by one.

The muscular woman directed Galih, Ignoir, Ardi, and Farel towards the large grate box.

As the horde of system users walked, they passed by a collection of skull-headed goat monsters that were no bigger than the size of an ordinary goat, but there was something that made them very uncomfortable.

Motionless and neatly lined up, like obedient robots. Breathing like living beings but their bodies were so stiff like there is no soul in those creature.

They had no eyeballs but the eyeholes in the skulls looked so dark and there was a speck of fiery red light that moved with Randa’s entourage.

The goat monsters looked so alive, but at the same time seemed soulless.

It was a look that made his hair stand on end and made Ardi swallow his saliva several times along with the cold sweat that began to run down his face. Galih looked alert but still showed clear fear as he didn’t even want to look at the goats. Farel was the same, he just stared far ahead, but there was no fear that he gave off, but rather a sense of enthusiasm that could be seen from his thin grin.

Ignoir, on the other hand, didn’t even feel anything, she was acting as usual. Cheerful and trying to find interesting things around her. But that response wasn’t because she didn’t understand the situation, but rather the opposite....

Ignoir felt certain from his subconscious...

If all those goats weren’t more than food...

Randa directed Johan, Galih and Farel into the empty grate box while Ignoir, and Ardi were directed into the same grate box as Jessica.

The reason for the division was of course because of the difference in gender, but when it was Ardi’s turn to be put in, the feminine-looking man was frozen in place.

"E... Ex.. Excuse me, why am I being directed here while Johan and the others are being directed there?" asked Ardi in a very soft and gentle tone of voice.

"That’s the place for the men, while this is the place for the women," Randa replied, pointing to the two side-by-side boxes.

"B... Bu... But I’m a man," Ardi replied, much to Randa’s surprise.

The group of large men guarding the place immediately approached Ardi with incredulous looks.

"Huh? A man?"

"Woi, don’t lie!"

"You must be joking."

"You don’t look like a man at all."

One of the big men approached with a lascivious smile. "If you’re a man, prove it."

The big man immediately grabbed Ardi’s crotch and was shocked to discover the harsh reality.

"Huh? You have a dic-"

"Alchemist System activated!" shouted Ardi who was panicking and teary-eyed at having just been harassed.

As soon as he activated the system, the man groping Ardi fell to the ground unconscious. ƒгeewebnovёl_com

Everyone became alert and prepared to attack Ardi.

"What are you doing?!" shouted Randa who seemed to be on high alert but at the same time kept her distance because she still didn’t understand the abilities of that feminine-looking man.

Ardi stammered and tried to explain while moving his arms. "Anu... That... I didn’t kill him... I just knocked him out with a nitrogen overdose for a while, he didn’t die."

"Don’t lie!" shouted one of the big men who moved his hands as if directing something to attack.

Three goat monsters darted quickly towards Ardi and Ardi had no choice but to defend himself.

Ardi attracts the nitrogen pools in the air and changes their temperature so low that they become liquid nitrogen.

The collected liquid nitrogen formed a large liquid blob floating in the air. As the three goat monsters approached, Ardi aimed the blob of liquid nitrogen at them and it froze in place.

"You can control ice?!" shouted Randa who didn’t understand chemical reactions at all.

"No... I’m just cooling the nitrogen around, it’s okay, it’s harmless, I don’t intend to hurt you guys," said Ardi who tried to defend himself while scared.

"Don’t lie! You already killed one of us!" shouted Randa who was getting worried whether she should use her kalomba even though she knew it was a dangerous move.

In the midst of the chaos, the man who had previously fainted due to Ardi’s actions finally woke up holding his dizzy head.

"Akh... What happened?" said the big man who was trying to understand the situation after he woke up from his brief blackout.

"Look, he’s okay. I didn’t intend to kill him," said Ardi who tried to reassure Randa.

Randa started to believe Ardi’s words, but she was still skeptical. "That thing you call nitrogen... Is it really that harmless?"

Ardi swallowed his saliva. "Tha... That’s right... Nitrogen is harmless -"

"Don’t lie Ardi, Hahahaha!" shouted Farel who was in the grate box.

Farel’s laughter alerted Randa and she immediately glanced at Farel for a moment.

"What do you mean, you’re lying?" said Randa who looked at Ardi very sharply.

"Uh... Well... That’s... I’m not lying... Technically the dose I gave him won’t make him die, but only faint," said a scared-looking Ardi.

"Hahahahaha!" Farel laughed again. "Technically it is, but one small mistake and you could kill that person. Nitrogen is still dangerous and you know it, you pretty boy."

"Farel! Don’t make it worse!" shouted Ardi in a tone of voice that was only slightly higher than usual, as if his vocal cords weren’t made for shouting or raising his pitch.

Even in anger, Ardi looked like an upset high school girl. And that made the people around her even more hesitant to call Ardi a man.

Even the large group of men who had looked worried were now confused.

"He’s a man, right?"

"Yes, I’m pretty sure he has a dick when I feel his crotch."

"But..."

’he’s more girly than female!’ Thought all the big men.

While Ardi was worried and frightened, Randa picked the man up like he was picking up a stray cat he found on the street.

"Eh?" Ardi was surprised and didn’t understand why he was being treated like that.

"I’ll take you." Randa said, which made Ardi even more worried.
