FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO-Chapter 237: Good Friends
"Amelia, we are all over social media."
Stacy's furrowed brows told Amelia that whatever she was looking at or reading on her phone wasn't good.
However, Amelia cared less. She already knew this would happen from the moment she stepped into that restaurant.
"Let me see." Kayla leaned across and collected the phone from Stacy's hand, anger still surging through her system. "Can you imagine this trash? They are calling us bullies."
"Seriously!" Nicole's eyes flared with undiluted rage as she perused through her phone, reading some of the trolling comments on Facebook and Twitter. "This is so unfair. If people knew who that rotten b*tch was, they won't be this hostile."
"It was bound to happen? We attacked her first, remember?" Amelia sighed looking out the limo window, watching the busy street pass by in a blur, her mind preoccupied with a lot of things.
"I'll make some calls right now for those videos and pictures to be taken down." Adrianna offered, retrieving her phone from her hand back.
"No, leave it." Amelia peeled her face away from the window, her expression dark and unreadable.
"Let it trend. Let people see me as the villain. Let them say every nasty thing they want about me. Let that wretch claim her temporal trophy. I promise you all this, it won't last long. She just made one of her biggest mistakes by interfering in my affair. I will make her come crawling on her knees, begging unless my name is no longer Amelia."
A tear drop escaped Amelia's shimmering eyes, igniting Adrianna's anger.
"If only you had allowed me to touch that b*tch..." Adrianna fumed, clenching both her fists as if she had Tina's head in her grasp, "...I would crush her with my bare hands."
"You don't even know how I had to restrain myself severally from hitting her." Nicole hissed.
"Can you even imagine her claiming to be a saint when all she has been doing was trying to push a wedge between Amelia and her husband?" Kayla's face contoured with anger.
"You know what, all of this is my fault." Stacy lamented, lowering her head. "None of you saw the way that witch attacked Amelia back at the restroom before that vomiting episode. I saw everything and I knew she was pretending to be nice when she called for help. I should have insisted that she left after she followed us to the hospital. I shouldn't have allowed her to sit with us in that room."
"Hey, don't beat yourself over this, babe." Amelia placed her hand over Stacy's shoulder and pulled her to herself. "It's not your fault. It's nobody's fault. This was bound to happen. At least now we know better."
"Yeah."
Everyone in the limo sighed.
"What about your husband? Are you going to forgive him? At least, it's not his fault. Tina did a very good job at convincing him and your father with those pictures and audio messages." Kayla said pleadingly, while others nodded.
"Please, let's not talk about him," Amelia replied harshly, waving her hand dismissively, her expression stern.
A deafening silence engulfed the car for a few seconds before Nicole's jovial voice rang out.
"Girls, our friend just told her she's going to be a mum and we are yet to celebrate her."
"Exactly!" Adriana nodded. "This is supposed to be the best news ever."
"Yeah!"
"Let me be the first to say, congratulations," Kayla said reaching for Amelia's hands. "We are super proud of you, soon-to-be mom."
"Thank you, girls." Amelia's fury melted into a warm smile.
"We have to celebrate this amazing news," Stacy suggested.
"I completely agree. We need to make it extra special for our girl." Kayla chirped happily.
"We could even shut down this city if we want."
"I know the perfect place where we can go to."
"I'm taking care of the food and drink."
"Every other bill is on me."
Amelia chuckled, her heart warmed by her friend's lively chatter and loving company.
"Ma'am, we have arrived at the hospital." Kayla's driver announced as the limo came to a halt.
"Ugh! So soon." Nicole pouted. "Amelia, are you sure we shouldn't come in and check on your dad?"
"No girls. He should be resting by now." Amelia glanced over her watch. "Maybe some other time. I'll give you girls a call."
"Amy, what about Mr Gordon? When do we get to meet with that handsome tall drink of water?" Adrianna asked as Amelia was about to step out of the limo. She had no idea that Henry was in the tinted SUV behind them.
"Soon, I'll set up a meeting as long as you all promise to behave," Amelia warned teasingly.

"I'm not making any promises!" Nicole raised her hand.
"Me neither." Stacy high-fived Nicole.
"Don't worry, Amy, I'll make sure they behave. Say hi to your father for me and please, stay away from trouble.." Kayla blew kisses as Amelia stepped out of the car with the driver holding the door.
"Bye." Amelia stood there and waited until the limo drove off before turning around to look at Henry, who was now standing beside her.
"I wouldn't think of messing with you with those girls around."
"You better not." Amelia mimicked a dangerous face that cracked Henry up. "By the way, thanks for not interfering and keeping your friend out of my way."
"You're welcome." Henry smiled, clearing his throat.
"What is it?" Amelia raised a brow, eyeing Henry suspiciously, as she turned around to head for the hospital building.
"Amy, before you go to your father I think you need to know something," Henry said stopping her.
"If it's about your friend, I don't want to hear about it," Amelia said sternly.
"It's partly about him," Henry said scratching his head.
"Then I don't want to hear it." Amelia waved her hand dismissively, walking away.
"Blaze doesn't want you to know this because of the mistake he has made. But I think you should because it concerns someone you love so much."
Henry's words caused Amelia to freeze, her heart slamming widely against her chest as she slowly turned around to face Henry.
"Someone I love so much." She asked softly, her slightly alarmed eyes searching Henry's for an answer.
Henry nodded.
"Maria!" Amelia whispered, walking back to Henry, who nodded slowly again.
"Is something wrong with her?" Amelia grabbed Henry by his shirt collar, her grip tightening and her eyes moist as she could see the sadness that laced Henry's eyes.
"How about I take you to her?" Henry, freed his collar from her grasp while motioning at the SUV, behind them.
"Where is she?" Amelia's body started trembling.
"Let's go into the car and I'll tell you everything."
