Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot-Chapter 768 - 767: You’re Here for Gossip, Aren’t You?
Nia Mitchell didn’t stay around for long. After everyone finished eating, the hospital director came looking for them.
The director’s intention was simple: they could transfer Aldy to another hospital at any time.
Seeing Aldy in this state, Nia Mitchell decided it would be better to transfer him in the morning.
"I’ll listen to my sister."
Aldy Mitchell didn’t give Molly Harguez a chance to speak and immediately nodded in agreement.
Hearing his words, Nia Mitchell smiled but didn’t say anything more.
At this moment, the ward door opened.
"Oh my, you’re really in a VIP ward? I can hardly believe it."
A fashionably dressed middle-aged woman walked in, followed by a young boy and a middle-aged man.
The man carried two cartons of milk and had an honest, good-natured smile on his face.
Looking at them, Nia Mitchell was stunned. They looked familiar, yet she couldn’t recall who they were.
"Oh, Little Nia, you’re really back!"
The woman looked at Nia Mitchell with delight, then tugged at the little boy beside her.
"Quick, call her ’Older Sister’."
"Older Sister."
The boy, about ten years old, looked obedient, but his eyes darted around curiously, constantly observing the ward.
"Little Nia, this is your Second Aunt. Go on, greet me."
Second Aunt?
Nia Mitchell frowned but didn’t say anything.
She must be one of Molly’s relatives; I’m not familiar with them at all.
Seeing Nia Mitchell remain silent, the woman felt quite awkward standing there.
"You don’t even know how to greet someone? And you call yourself a university student."
Nia Mitchell ignored the casual jibe.
She simply sat to one side, letting the adults say whatever they wanted amongst themselves.
"How is Aldy now? We can’t help much, so we just came to see him."
Emma Harguez said with a smile, then glanced at Aldy Mitchell lying in bed.
Molly Harguez walked over, also with a smile on her face.
"He’s stable now. It’s a good thing you came today. If you’d come tomorrow, you would have missed us."
With that expression, who could tell she was in a hospital? Her own son was lying right there, yet she could still be so nonchalant.
"Why would we have missed you?"
Emma Harguez frowned. Could the rumors be true?
"Well, it’s because our Nia has done so well for herself. She found a..."
"COUGH! COUGH!"
Nia Mitchell suddenly coughed, interrupting Molly Harguez’s impending boast.
Molly Harguez paused, realizing what she had almost blurted out. She then gave Emma Harguez an embarrassed smile.
"Anyway, we’re planning to transfer him to a hospital in Capital Town tomorrow. The medical facilities are better there."
After saying that, she poured Emma a cup of tea and handed it to her.
Emma Harguez paused, then reached for the teacup, frowning at Molly.
"I heard that Little Nia has found herself a very remarkable man. Is that true or false?"
As she said this, Emma Harguez kept looking at Nia Mitchell, hoping Nia would respond.
"This..."
Molly Harguez didn’t say anything. She wouldn’t dare. That Young Master Peary was too formidable; he wasn’t someone she could afford to offend.
"Are you here to visit the patient or to gossip?"
Nia Mitchell shot her a disdainful look and sat there, unwilling to engage further.
Hearing this, Emma Harguez instantly became agitated.
"How can you talk like that, you little brat? You have no manners at all! As your elder, I’m just showing concern for you, yet you’re being so ungrateful."
Emma Harguez seemed genuinely furious. She stood up and marched towards Nia Mitchell.
"So, you are here to gossip?"
Nia Mitchell also stood up. She wouldn’t be outdone, especially since she hadn’t done anything wrong.
