Future Beast World: Becoming A Pampered Beauty-Chapter 419 - 358: Send the Children Over
Sang Luo ate a Crystal Core and cast a Healing Technique, her body instantly recovering. She looked at the man standing by the bed, grinning foolishly as he held the swaddled children, and couldn’t help but laugh. "Bring the children over and let me see."
Biya brought the children to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Luoluo, four children, and they’re all very healthy."
Sang Luo looked at the four snow-white eggs, a little surprised. ’I can’t believe I gave birth to eggs.’ She had been prepared for some kind of horrifying scene... but these four clean, white little eggs were actually quite cute.
The Insect Clan eggs were much smaller than Beast Eggs, each only about half the size of her palm. ’No wonder the birth was so easy.’
She carefully turned over the white eggs and found that the runes on them were different. The markings on three of the eggs vaguely resembled butterflies, while on the fourth, black and gold lines intertwined to form a pattern... that looked like a lifelike little spider.
Biya had been so overwhelmed with joy that he hadn’t noticed the details. Seeing this now, he held his breath as an excited golden light flashed in his eyes.
"Luoluo, let me see the children again."
"Okay." Sang Luo smiled and handed the children to him.
The man stared blankly at the four white eggs, especially the one with the spider marking. He appeared calm, but a fierce battle was raging within him.
Anu was choked with sobs. *This... this is my child.*
Biya shot back, *What do you mean, ’your child’? They’re all my children! They’re the children Luoluo bore for me!*
Anu retorted, *Luoluo was with me first! The first one conceived was mine, so at least one of them has to be my child!*
Biya was seething with rage. *I was the one with her during her heat! Don’t you forget who was wrapped around her day and night! She was with me more than anyone!*
Anu countered, *During those days and nights, every time you passed out from exhaustion, I took over. I was with her just as many times as you were. For all you know, those other three are mine...*
*You—you dared to take advantage of me—*
*Who asked you to be so unrestrained during your heat? You gave me the perfect opportunity to slip in. I had to take over. Besides, Luoluo couldn’t tell the difference anyway.*
...
Fei Yuan glanced at Anubia before looking away. He handed Sang Luo a glass of warm Water and said with a hint of disdain, "Luoluo, this new Beast Husband of yours... is there something wrong with his head?"
Sang Luo had just taken a sip of Water and nearly spat it out. "COUGH, COUGH... He’s probably just overjoyed."
Fei Yuan took out a handkerchief to wipe her mouth, his smile not quite reaching his eyes. "I’m not so sure. The guy started a fight with me the moment he arrived. He has violent tendencies, and he’s not gentle at all. He doesn’t seem like the considerate type. Luoluo, let’s just get rid of him, what do you say? Besides, insects are ugly."
Biya snapped back to reality when he heard Fei Yuan trying to turn Sang Luo against him. His face darkened as he walked over, cradling the children, and shot Fei Yuan a provocative smile. "You bird, don’t tell me you’re jealous I have so many children?"
Fei Yuan’s expression soured. He had to admit it—he was jealous.
’This bug came out of nowhere. I’d never even seen his face before, so how did he get Luo’er to bear him four children in one go? And all of them top-tier members of the Insect Clan, at that.’
Any Beast Husband would go mad with jealousy over such incredible luck with siring children.
Biya didn’t want to waste his breath on Fei Yuan. His gaze burned as he looked at Sang Luo, his eyes filled with sweet tenderness and turning slightly red at the rims. "Luoluo, I owe you for this one."
"There’s nothing to owe me for. If you keep saying things like that, it’ll feel like there’s a wall between us."
Biya nodded emphatically. "Mm. My whole life is yours now, so what’s there to talk about owing?"
Sang Luo pursed her lips into a gentle smile.
Cradling the children, Biya said, "I have to return to the Star Vortex Insect Nest. There are some things I need to take care of. Once the children have hatched, I’ll bring them back to see you."
In that moment, Anu and Biya reached an unprecedented agreement: to merge.
The discarded love would return to its source. The personalities from before and after rebirth would once again fuse into a single being.
They had accepted each other.
Only by merging could they become the true, complete Anubia.
The Anubia she had always wanted.
A tremor went through Sang Luo’s heart. As she gazed into the man’s determined eyes, for a split second, it was as if she heard two voices.
"Wait for me to come back."
The two voices spoke in perfect unison, as they should have been from the start.
Tears stung Sang Luo’s eyes, but she was smiling as she nodded. "I understand. I’ll wait for you and the children to come back."
Biya left with the children, and life returned to its usual peaceful and leisurely pace.
Sang Luo recovered from the birth at the Phoenix Palace. Fei Yuan had experience looking after her during postpartum confinement, so he took care of everything perfectly.
One day, he came over carrying two Little Angels.
"Mama~"
"Mama, cuddles~"
Sang Luo, propped up in bed, took the two Little Angels from Fei Yuan’s arms, surprised and delighted. "My darlings, what brings you to the East Continent for a visit? You didn’t even tell me you were coming; I would have come to get you myself."
Fei Yuan said cheerfully, "It was Minos. He personally arranged to have the two Little Angels sent over."
"Oh, right. Where is Minos? He values these two children more than his own life. Why are they here but he isn’t? He can’t normally bear to let these two treasures out of his sight." Sang Luo glanced behind them but didn’t see Minos, nor could she sense his presence.
"Perhaps he’s busy with other matters. He sent the children here to stay for a while. Once he’s finished with his business, we can send them back." Fei Yuan affectionately ruffled the two Little Angels’ hair. "What are their names?"
Vilina raised a small hand. "I’m the big sister. My name is Vilina Sang Limitless."
The other Little Angel spoke in a soft voice, "Hello, Uncle. My name is Ares Sang Limitless."
Sang Luo looked at Fei Yuan. "I haven’t thought of nicknames for them yet. Why don’t you help me come up with some?"
"Their names are lovely." Fei Yuan thought for a moment, then smiled. "How about we call the sister Little Rose and the brother Little Apple?"
"Little Rose... Little Apple... That’s interesting. How did you come up with those?"
"Don’t you think their eyes are very similar?"
Sang Luo held up the two cute Little Angels to get a better look. ’They both have brilliant golden beast pupils, but that’s just their color in Angel form. Their eye color should change when they’re human. Minos, for example, has eyes the color of an azure sky in his human form—they’re stunningly beautiful.’
"You can see what they’ll look like as humans?"
"Yes, I can."
"Perfect. I can’t think of anything better anyway, so we’ll go with that. Little Rose and Little Apple."
After she called out the names a couple of times, both children had learned their new nicknames and would respond to them.
After dinner, Fei Yuan settled Sang Luo and the children in for the night before taking his leave.
He strolled outside the palace hall and looked up at the sky, lost in thought.
He casually summoned a shadow agent.
"What’s the situation over in the Holy Domain?"
As a Beast Father himself, he knew exactly how much Minos treasured his children; if anything, Minos was even more protective than he was. If something hadn’t happened at the Holy Hall, Minos would never have sent his children to be raised at the Phoenix Palace. He certainly wouldn’t have done so without even mentioning when he’d be back for them.
’If it were me,’ Fei Yuan thought, ’I’d only feel safe with my children right in front of me. I wouldn’t even feel at ease letting their own mother take them, let alone sending them off to the Holy Palace...’
