Ghost Exorciser: The Oust Fake Heiress Strikes-Chapter 148: Truth-2
"If you don’t marry me now, then I will go and tell everyone about what you have done and how you have killed my daughter."
Afraid, Ezra did as the woman said for the next few days.
The woman was so heartless that she disposed of her own daughter with her own hand; at least that is what the woman said to him.
As time passed, the woman’s demands became even more and more illogical. Whenever he even showed a trace of resistance, she threatened.
The suffocation got to the point that even Ezra couldn’t hold it anymore and decided to kill her.
Hence, he made a plan and killed the woman skillfully, only to realize that the daughter wasn’t dead at all.
In fact, she was breathing when he attacked her, and the woman knew it too.
She had hidden the daughter in one of the top floor’s storage rooms.
Once, she would always visit her daughter, and she would provide food to the daughter and even ask the daughter to come to the apartment when Ezra wasn’t there to get food if she forgot.
Ezra was stunned because the daughter hadn’t eaten for two days straight and had to come down using the elevator and arrived at Ezra’s apartment in the hopes that she would get food, since Ezra hadn’t told the woman that he was coming back and the woman didn’t think of going to her daughter.
She even thought that her daughter would come down and take food on her own since she was feeling lazy.
As a result, when the daughter entered the apartment, she saw the scene of Ezra killing her mother, and she was stunned.
In an instant, she ran towards the elevator, and Ezra, becoming afraid, immediately followed her.
Before the elevator could be closed, he entered and killed the woman’s daughter.
Even though he felt reluctant, he decided to ruin the daughter’s face completely and even made her lips cut because she was constantly screaming for help.
Once he was sure that the daughter would finally stop screaming there at the downstairs floor, Ezra felt lucky when he saw there was no one, and since there was no camera on the ground floor, he dragged the daughter away.
After taking care of the daughter, he returned to his apartment.
Then he got back to the elevator and started to wipe away everything.
Once he was done, he thought that maybe now he would live a good life because, in the past, before killing the woman, he had made sure that the property of the apartment went directly under his name.
Now he owned the apartment, and those two women weren’t there to bug him.
Hence, he directly started; he directly moved out because he knew that he wouldn’t be able to live there.
He directly rents out the apartment to others.
After all, he had killed those two women here, and they might haunt the place.
The arrival of the ghost portals in the world had made the people suspicious and filled with fear toward the supernatural entity.
And hence, Ezra too felt that their ghost might linger.
Hence, he had even invited a priest to make sure that if the woman’s soul was lingering, it might be exorcised.
He had invited a local priest to exorcise or whatever, and he had threatened the priest so that he wouldn’t have to pay much money.
And hence, Ezra was sure that if the woman wasn’t still there, her soul had already been dealt with by the priest.
Once he thought so, he directly left and started to rent out the apartment.
As a result, he tried and tried, but no one was interested in living there.
Even if the rent was low, they often came for the first two days before complaining that they seemed to hear the sound of a woman crying there.
And hence, one by one, all of them left, thinking that the place was haunted.
It got to the point that Ezra didn’t earn a single penny and had to pay some extra compensation.
As a result, Ezra slowly started to get at a loss.
The place he was renting was barely able to keep up because of his expenses.
His expenses now went into compensating, and he was left with no choice but to return to this apartment and stay there for free.
After staying there for the first two days, he heard the sound of a woman crying there, and he understood that his tenants were telling the truth.
This time, he decided that he would commission someone and make sure that whatever ghost was lingering would be dealt with, but who would have thought that he would encounter such a troublesome girl?
Now, she had even somehow figured out everything.
For a moment, Ezra was filled with anger, and he stared at Lana with a dark glare.
Lana could sense his dark thoughts and laughed. "What? Want me to ask Dolly to possess you?"
Ezra looked panicked and shook his head.
Lana then continued to say,
"Do you think that I would dare to come here without some kind of protective layer around me? I have Dolly, and I also have psychic power. Oh, and I have mystic power too. Do you think that I can’t harm you?"
Ezra couldn’t help but cry and asked her, "What do you want from me?"
Lana chuckled and said, "I was just curious."
Anyhow, Ezra was going to be in the police station, but what she couldn’t understand was why the girl’s soul was lingering in the elevator while the woman’s soul was lingering in the apartment.
She wanted to know the entire story and hence she had written,
"It would be fine if you didn’t tell me. After all, during the investigation process, you would have to tell it anyway. But if you tell me now, then maybe after taking some money, I won’t even think of continuing this matter."
Ezra’s eyes widened, and he immediately understood that Lana was here too.
