Chapter 56: Chapter 56:Since when do you need their acknowledgment?

Zayen looked at Lucien, who was shamelessly following him, and didn’t even know what to say.

With a thought, a crystal-clear glass bottle appeared in his hand, and he tossed it toward him. "Catch."

Lucien hurriedly reached out and caught the bottle.

As he held the crystal-clear glass bottle in his hands, a system notification suddenly appeared before him.

....

[Name]: Elixir of Vitality

[Grade]: Silver-Grade

[Type]: Healing Potion

[Effect]: A single drop of this potion eradicates all disease afflicting the drinker, restoring the body to a state of perfect health.

[System Remained]: This potion has no effect on constructs, golems, or beings without true life.

....

Lucien’s eyes nearly popped out of his head as he stared at the system notification.

"Wha—what is this?!" he exclaimed, shaking the bottle as if that would make the words inside come alive. "Silver-grade?! Healing Potion?! This... this is insane!"

He bounced on his heels, a wide, goofy grin plastered across his face. "One drop heals all disease, restores perfect health... Hahaha! Boss, do you realize how OP this is? I could take on anything now!"

Zayen just raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "It’s just a potion."

Lucien shook his head furiously. "Just a potion?! THIS is power, Boss! I’m telling you, this is legendary!"

Zayen shook his head at Lucien’s ridiculous excitement. The young man was grinning like an idiot, completely mesmerized by a simple system notification.

"You really are something else," Zayen muttered, almost amused. He glanced at the potion again, and his expression hardened. "I don’t even need that."

Lucien froze, eyes wide as saucers. "Wha—what do you mean you don’t need it?!"

"Because," Zayen said simply, "my self-healing is far stronger than any Silver-Grade potion. Cuts, bruises... even worse injuries vanish in an instant. That elixir? Child’s play."

Lucien’s mouth fell open, disbelief written all over his face. "You... you’re insane..."

"Call it power," Zayen replied, voice calm and chilling, "but yes... that’s exactly what it is."

Lucien staggered back a step, his wide eyes glued to Zayen. "N-no way... you’re telling me... you don’t even need a Silver-Grade potion?!"

Zayen’s expression stayed calm, almost bored. "I told you. Potions like this are meaningless to me."

Lucien’s jaw dropped, then he suddenly threw his arms up, spinning around in excitement. "Hahaha! So you’re like... a walking, talking, unstoppable healing machine?!"

Zayen simply shook his head, watching the fat young man flail around. "You really are hopeless," he muttered.

"But Boss!" Lucien ran up to him, pointing at the bottle, eyes sparkling. "If you don’t need it, can I... can I keep it? I mean, it’s Silver Grade! Who knows when I’ll get another one like this!"

Zayen’s eyebrow twitched. "Do whatever you want with it. Just don’t explode from excitement before we even reach our destination."

Lucien beamed like he’d just won the lottery. "Hahaha! Don’t worry, Boss! I’ll treasure this forever!"

Zayen pinched the bridge of his nose, silently wondering why he even bothered keeping this ridiculous companion alive.

Lucien clutched the Elixir of Vitality like it was the greatest treasure in the world.

Without hesitation, he popped the cork and took a small sip.

At first, nothing seemed to happen. Then, a warm, tingling sensation spread through his body, flowing into every muscle, every joint, and every cell. His fatigue and aches seemed to vanish instantly, replaced by an incredible surge of vitality.

"Wha... wha—what is this?!" Lucien shouted, his eyes sparkling with disbelief. He flexed his arms experimentally and leaped into the air, landing perfectly on the balls of his feet. "Hahaha! It’s... it’s amazing! I feel like I could fight ten magical beasts at once and still have energy left over!"

Zayen’s gaze remained steady, almost boringly calm. "It’s effective... but in the grand scheme of things, still nothing compared to real power."

Lucien’s grin stretched from ear to ear. "Nothing?! Boss, this is insane! I feel like a superhuman!"

Zayen shook his head, muttering under his breath, "Why do I even deal with this fool...?"

"Alright, let’s go."

Zayen finished speaking and flew up, ready to leave, when Lucien’s voice came from behind again.

"Boss... where are we going now?"

Lucien’s voice was still full of excitement as he carefully tucked the bottle away like it was his lifeline.

Zayen didn’t even turn back. "To rob someone," he said indifferently.

"...To rob someone?" Lucien tilted his head, completely confused. What in the world did "rob someone" even mean?

Although he was confused, he didn’t say anything. For now, he could only obediently follow Zayen.

Having grown up in a rich family since childhood, he had never experienced the harshness of the world.

But now... he understood. Being teleported to a strange world... Forced to kill monsters just to survive...

And then getting beaten half to death by Zayen over a Primordial Star Core Fragment...

Every single one of these experiences made him realize one thing—

This world was ruled by strength.

Without power... you were nothing. A trace of fear flickered in Lucien’s eyes.

Right now, more than anything, he just wanted to go back home... to live a peaceful life and never return to this dangerous world again.

But reality didn’t give him that choice.

Boom!

Zayen’s wings flapped once. His figure shot into the distant sky like a streak of golden light. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

Lucien froze for half a second before panicking.

"Wait for me, Boss!"

He hurriedly activated his movement skill and chased after him.

...

"What is this place?"

Lucien looked up at the massive palace in front of him, his face filled with confusion.

Zayen glanced up slightly and said calmly,

"Primordial Star Hall."

Lucien followed his gaze.

Above the ancient gates, three massive characters were engraved, radiating a faint, oppressive aura—

Primordial Star Hall.

"Let’s go. We’re going inside."

Zayen pushed open the massive gates and strode in without hesitation, Lucien hurrying after him.

The moment they stepped inside, the massive gates creaked shut behind them with a heavy boom.

Lucien jumped slightly, turning around. "Uh... Boss? That doesn’t feel very welcoming."

After taking the Elixir of Vitality, all his injuries were now fully recovered.

Zayen didn’t respond to him. His gaze swept across the interior of the hall.

The palace was vast—far larger than it had appeared from the outside. Tall pillars stretched toward the ceiling, each carved with ancient runes that faintly glowed with a dim, eerie light. The air was thick, carrying an ancient, oppressive aura that made even breathing feel heavier.

"Holy crap, Boss, you’ve really struck it rich this time!"

Inside the massive palace, various weapons floated in the air.

And the grade of each weapon was not low.

The lowest was at least a common-grade weapon.

"So many weapons, another huge fortune."

Zayen took out his space ring and collected these weapons floating in the air one by one into his space ring.

Although he didn’t need these weapons himself, he could sell them for a considerable sum of money.

Lucien merely watched this scene quietly, without making any move. These things all belonged to Zayen; he was very clear about his position.

After all, he was now Zayen’s subordinate. If Zayen chose to give him weapons, then he had no reason to refuse.

He knew these things were not something he could covet.

"It seems someone arrived here before us," a voice suddenly echoed from behind Zayen and Lucien. Zayen stopped and turned to face the source.

"You lot—this place belongs to my boss. Get out."

Lucien’s gaze locked onto the four figures at the gateway, his voice turning icy.

However, the four acted as if they hadn’t heard him at all and calmly stepped into the hall.

The tallest among them raised his hand toward Zayen, a mocking smile spreading across his face.

"It’s best if you two leave all your treasures behind and get the hell out of here... if you want to survive."

The tallest man’s mocking smile widened as he looked at Zayen.

"Did you not hear me? Leave everything behind and get out... or don’t blame us for being ruthless."

Lucien’s expression darkened instantly.

"Hah... ruthless?" He let out a cold laugh, shaking his head. "You guys really don’t know who you’re talking to."

The other three sneered, completely unconcerned.

"Big words from a nobody," one of them said. "Kneel now, and maybe we’ll leave you with your lives."

At this moment Zayen finally moved. He took a single step forward.

Boom.

In the next instant, a terrifying, overwhelming pressure erupted from his body.

Before the four players could even react—

They were slammed violently onto the ground, their bodies crashing against the floor under the crushing force.

The four slammed into the ground, cracks spreading across the golden floor beneath them.

"Ugh—!"

Their faces twisted in pain as the invisible pressure crushed down on their bodies, forcing them flat like insects.

"What... is... this...?" the tallest among them struggled to speak, his voice trembling.

Lucien let out a low whistle from behind. "Damn... Boss didn’t even try."

Zayen stepped forward slowly.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The pressure grew heavier with every step he took.

"Stop... stop...!" one of them cried out, blood leaking from the corner of his mouth. "Y-you two... we acknowledge your strength! Can we just call it a day?"

Hearing this, Lucien almost burst out laughing.

In the end, they were nothing more than cowards. The moment they sensed true power, all their arrogance vanished without a trace. Their thinking was simply too naive.

"Boss, are these guys idiots?" Lucien said with a sneer. "Since when do you need their acknowledgment?"

Zayen smiled faintly.

He lowered his gaze and looked at the four people pinned to the floor.
