Chapter 43: Order Dao!

But I had already anticipated this something like this to happen...

In an instant, I unleashed my white flames, expanding them into a massive shield in front of me. The swords collided with the shield, but the moment they touched it, they didn’t shatter, they didn’t burn—they simply ceased to exist.

They were reduced to nothingness. This was the power of my Limitless—Barrier of Infinity mixed with my white flames.

The barrier didn’t just block the attack. It warped space and time around it, erasing anything that dared come into contact with it. With the flames as an addition touch, it looked like I was manipulating the void. Even I hadn’t fully tapped into its power, but this much was more than enough.

The force of the attack was immense; it could have easily wiped out the entire mountain, yet I had effortlessly neutralized it.

My allies stood behind me, stunned. They could feel it—the power of a peak Heavenly Realm expert’s attack, the kind of force that should have reduced us all to dust. Yet I stood there, untouched, the ground beneath me unharmed.

"Sister! Chu Fengxian!" I called out, and the two immediately sprang into action, leading the charge.

Chu Fengxian drew his sword, a massive blade glowing with dark green energy. With a single slash, he cut through four Sky Realm experts at the Sky Touch Stage. Their bodies were cleaved in half, their souls extinguished before they even hit the ground.

His power sent shockwaves through the cave, cracks splintering across the walls.

Yue Linxi pulled out her weapon—an ethereal, flowing ribbon of silk that shimmered with her pure qi. With a flick of her wrist, the ribbon snapped forward, extending to unnatural lengths. It coiled around the necks of five enemies, tightening like a noose.

With a swift tug, she sent them crashing into the ground, their bodies breaking upon impact, the earth beneath them crumbling.

The battle was nothing short of cataclysmic. Each strike from Chu Fengxian’s sword split the ground, causing tremors that shook the entire cave. The terrain crumbled beneath our feet, and nearby trees outside the cave were uprooted by the force of their blows.

The air itself crackled with the energy of their attacks.

But the Demon Sect fought back fiercely. Dark tendrils of energy sprouted from the ground, attempting to snare my sister and Chu Fengxian.

With a graceful leap, Yue Linxi dodged them, her ribbon flashing through the air, severing the tendrils before they could ensnare anyone. Chu Fengxian, on the other hand, let them come. When they tried to wrap around his ankles, he simply slashed downward, his sword cutting through the tendrils like butter.

The sheer force of the battle was overwhelming. Ling Xueying and the other disciples struggled to keep up. Bai Lifen, fighting beside Long Zhen, was forced to retreat as a wave of dark energy exploded from one of the Demon Sect’s Sky Realm experts, wounding several of our disciples. Blood soaked the ground as the battle raged on.

Despite the injuries, my sister and Chu Fengxian remained unscathed, their power far exceeding the others.

But even they couldn’t avoid every strike. A well-aimed blast of dark energy slammed into Chu Fengxian’s side, sending him skidding backward, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. Yue Linxi, too, took a hit, her ribbon faltering for a moment as a dark qi strike grazed her shoulder.

As the battle raged, I signaled to Shi Wenyan. We had another target to take care of, she nodded in understanding as we took the lead as the main force of the whole grou.

She looked forward, focused, with determined resolve ready for battle.

At the far end of the cave, I saw him—a peculiar man holding an umbrella, his dark robe blending into the shadows.

Another man, a brute with a cruel grin, stood beside him, a scar running across his face.

"Are you for real? A scar face?" Does looking fierce give a boast in power now? Surely he could have used healing pills or other herbs to remove the scar but he shamelessly stayed with it!

The man growled in anger, clearly not welcome to have his "honourable," appearance of a battle hardened warrior, overlooked.

He charged forward.

Without hesitation, I teleported both Shi Wenyan in front of the man and myself directly in front of the umbrella wielder. His dark eyes gleamed from behind the mask as he spoke, his voice crackling with power.

"The audacity to come here... to your death!"

I could feel it immediately—his power. The air itself seemed to crackle with his aura.

’Master, he’s comprehended the Order Dao!’ ChiChu chimed in my mind.

I couldn’t help but smile. The Order Dao, huh?

"Kneel!" the man bellowed. The force of his Dao slammed into us, the very laws of the world bending under his will. It was a power that could subdue even peak Heavenly Realm experts, forcing them to their knees.

Shi Wenyan’s legs buckled under the pressure, the Order Dao wrapping around her like chains, trying to drag her down. But for me? It was nothing more than a gentle breeze. I didn’t budge.

Before scar face could attack her, I waved my hand freeing her from the chains of the Order Dao.

"Kneel?" I chuckled. "Let’s see about that."

I could see him applying more force on her...

I placed my hand on Shi Wenyan’s shoulder, and with a pulse of my qi, the Order Dao around her shattered like glass. I hadn’t even used any Dao techniques. The man’s eyes widened in disbelief.

Before he could react, I teleported us both to a completely different spot. He looked around, stunned.

"Such mastery of the Space Dao...!" he muttered.

But this was only the beginning.

____

Left together the scared man observed Shi Wenyan first not attacking after their leader’s Order Dao attack. He grinned ear to eat with lust burning in his eyes as he accessed her body.

"Disgusting!" Shi Wenyan spat.
