The blast of air made the trees sway relentlessly and their leaves tremble violently.
The ground was shaking, too.

Only when the violent gust of air subsided could the crowd see what had happened behind them.
The Mercenary Corps Leader stared in shock at the center of the explosion. All that remained was a pile of shattered, scorched rocks; the powerful Rock Demon Beast was nowhere to be seen.
’What just happened?’
He cautiously approached the center of the explosion and saw a massive, deep crater.
The Rock Demon Beast’s corpse lay in the crater.
Suddenly, he turned his head to the left, and a moving black shadow flickered in the corner of his eye.
He hesitated for a moment, unsure if it was just a trick of the eye.
’Did I just see something pass by?’
Turning back to stand at the edge of the crater, the Mercenary Corps Leader felt a profound sense of shock.
’Is this the power of Magic?’
Even if he went all out, he couldn’t create a scene like this.
