TO BE honest, Yuno couldn’t remember how he got to the Esper Association HQ that fast.

Luckily, he wouldn’t be fined for overspeeding since he used Ki Gayoon’s supercar.

Yuno clenched his hands tight, his eyes glowing red, as he squeezed the two criminals’ hearts.

He was performing torture on his fellow Guides using a method that he learned from the Lab.

"I love my fellow Guides, but you crossed the line this time," Yuno said in an eerily calm voice. He knew Moon Noa and the others could hear him, but he didn’t care. "You killed innocent Guides, and because you blindly followed Jacob Hyung-nim, I almost lost my Esper."

The hooded serial killer and Eun Rina flinched when Yuno mentioned ’Jacob.’

That practically confirms that they’re working together.

"It’s the E-Class Guide’s Way to act as a decoy by blinding their targets. That’s why you two didn’t act discreetly, right? You want our attention focused on you while Jacob Hyung-nim works in the shadows," Yuno said, clenching his hands tighter. This time, the hooded serial killer and Eun Rina cried in pain. But he didn’t feel an ounce of guilt. "But you know what?"

Yuno finally opened his hands— setting free the two criminals from his torture.

But that didn’t mean he was done yet.

"If you two are still here, then you’ve been abandoned already."

The hooded serial killer and Eun Rina both looked up at Yuno with a look of disbelief on their faces.

"Bibi Noona could only use her abilities twice a day," Yuno explained because these two looked completely clueless. "She could send several people to different places at once. However, she could only go and retrieve people in one place. And Bibi Noona already saved Jacob Hyung-nim."

He then squatted down to meet the two criminals’ eye levels.

To be honest, he didn’t know what kind of expression he was making at the moment.

However, it was clear that the hooded serial killer and Eun Rina looked afraid of him since their pupils were shaking.

"You’ve been abandoned."

"That’s not true," the hooded serial killer said weakly. "Jacob Hyung-nim will not abandon us. He said we’re the hope of the—"

"Stop it, fool!" Eun Rina yelled, hitting the hooded serial killer on the arm. "Do want to die?!"

Yuno said, and then he "stabbed" the serial killer and Eun Rina on their chests with his hands— the black leather gloves he was wearing allowing his "ghost hands" to pass through the criminals’ bodies without a single drop of blood.

The hooded serial killer and Eun Rina looked shocked, but they probably didn’t feel pain until Yuno grabbed hold of the small marble glass next to their Cores.

There, the bombs.

As soon as Yuno pulled his hands out of the criminals’ chests, Haru appeared next to him.

He quickly handed the two marbles to the ex-prince.

And then Haru disappeared again, probably to throw the bombs where it wouldn’t hurt a single living thing.

Haaah.

The hooded serial killer and Eun Rina felt the pain belatedly, and the two were now screaming as if they were dying from pain.

I’m sorry, but I can’t save you two.

Yuno stood up, his legs shaking a bit. "You can interrogate them now," he said, breathing heavily. Using half of his Mana abruptly was making him feel faint, but he wasn’t done with his work yet. "I already got rid of the bombs that would have exploded if they mentioned the forbidden words they weren’t allowed to say. But don’t let your guard down because they might kill themselves..."

"You’re not going anywhere after this, Yuno-ya," Ki Gayoon said, smiling "threateningly" at Yuno. "My Babe Princess is now a princess trapped in a tower."

Yuno scowled, ready to pull out a PPT to explain to Ki Gayoon why a main lead who wanted his partner locked up wasn’t attractive.
