Snatching the wicker basket from his sister, he said to her, "What are you thinking, sister? You cannot eat these things!"
He was really shocked. He knew that his sister had gotten wiser than before but even then Ruan Zeqiu couldn’t believe that these things could be eaten. He had seen more than three people die because they ate these umbrellas. Ruan Zeqiu thought that his sister had taken an unwarranted risk. "I know that you are looking for new things to eat but these things are poisonous. You will die if you eat them."
Ruan Chanchan watched helplessly as Ruan Zeqiu took away the mushrooms from her hands. She had washed them clean and was prepared to cook. She said, "Zeqiu, listen to me. There are indeed mushrooms that cannot be eaten and are poisonous but there are some mushrooms that we can eat.
