He believed Ruan Chanchan when she said that she was not bothered by the rumours that were circulating in the tribe. But now he realised that Ruan Chanchan was actually lying to him.

Xie Daiyu wanted to stop Ruan Chanchan but he had no idea where to start and felt his head buzzing.
The surrounding orcs also gathered around the cave dwellings. They all looked at Ruan Chanchan and then at the mushrooms in Ruan Zeqiu’s hands. They all thought that what Shao Xia said made sense. Of course, it was because they didn’t want to take the big pot of blame on her head. It was fine if Ruan Chanchan wanted to die; then it was fine but she was not allowed to push the blame on top of their heads.
