Chapter 643: Chapter 643. Hall of fame

Everyone stared at the large holographic screen floating across them. The name on the third place disappeared.

Was Karag Anvilheart dead?

"As expected," someone murmured in disbelief.

"Check, the first name."

Everyone looked. Karag Anvilheart’s name was first.

Silence.

The runesmith association was silent. This...

"Did he really complete the Downpour Galaxy mission? How...?"

These were the thoughts of different minds.

"Look... there’s a video. Check the forum."

Everyone watched the video.

Silence. Everywhere was silent.

"What sort of freak is this guy? He constructed the runic array all by himself?" someone murmured, trying to process the whole thing. This was simply inconceivable.

"How did he survive?" the person Karag Anvilheart had previously replaced on the third rank said with a shaky voice.

"He was lucky. Vimodials didn’t attack the outpost when he was there."

Everyone nodded. But was this luck not too much?

"But still, completing a rank 7 runic array alone is very difficult. Is this how abnormal the skill of someone with a rune skill proficiency of 94 percent is?"

"And the speed with which he got the job done... Even if several rank 7 runesmiths had decided to work on this, it would have taken a long time for them to finish."

As people were trying to process the shock of the event, a sudden notification reverberated throughout all the Secondary Carrier alliance branches across the empire.

[Congratulations to Rank 7 runesmith Karag Anvilheart for getting on the hall of fame List.

Contributing feats:

* Making 5000 runic artifacts for the Morrow Chamber of Commerce in 24 hours. (Mission Difficulty level was High.)

* Assisting rank 8 runesmiths of the Usmond Clan to complete a runic array that had been uncompleted for a long time. Mission Difficulty level was High.

* Making a rank 7 runic array alone at a military outpost at the edge of the Downpour Galaxy in just two days, giving the base a rare overwhelming advantage over a vimodial attack on the base . Mission Difficulty level was extremely high.

>Additional contribution: Identification of a vimodial spy at the base, playing a key role in the elimination of the vimodial spy—Intel confirms Runesmith Anvilheart used strong recollection abilities to identify the spy as he was once on the same battlefield in the past with this vimodial.

Rated: Exceeded Expectations.

"Here we were thinking he was lucky in the Downpour Galaxy."

"This guy is something else entirely."

"No wonder he refused to meet us."

"He really appeared on the Hall of Fame rankings with three missions."

"Three abnormal missions. And in the most difficult one, he even went ahead to perform additional contributions. It seems his rise is set in stone. The imperial Galaxy is a cultivation haven in the empire."

"Also, all the runesmiths who have appeared on the hall of fame list and have migrated there all have various imperial clans in the imperial faction behind them because of their importance."

The top rankers in the runesmith Association, seated in the lounge, sighed among themselves. Karag Anvilheart had crushed their pride into pieces, and he didn’t even need to be present to do it.

Legoland had a smile on his face in his hotel suite.

"He really pulled it off. We can finally head to the imperial Galaxy. But this guy, his feats are too abnormal. I’m afraid several nobles in the Imperial Galaxy would seek his services when we get there. That will be a good thing. With their backing, whatever he has planned for the revenge to come to fruition will proceed smoothly."

In the Morrow Chamber of Commerce, the first young master sighed.

"He really got on the Hall of Fame rankings as a rank 7 runesmith. His rise is inevitable. It’s a good thing I didn’t act impulsively and offend him."

In the Usmond Clan, Shaltear was training when she received a notification. The moment she checked it, she was overwhelmed.

She remembered their first interaction. If only she had known, she would not have done what she did. She had lost the opportunity to befriend someone who had taken a giant leap in the empire. However, she knew there was no cure for regret. She was already paying the price for how she had treated him. But at this point, everyone will remember her as the fool who offended one of the most powerful men in the empire.

She sighed deeply. This level of regret, the psychological burden was extremely painful to bear. A tear fell from her eyes.

"It’s my fortune that he didn’t consider me worth paying attention to in the first place. Else, what would have awaited the clan, my parents and I, would have been eliminated or worse in the not too far future. How ironic. To think someone’s disregard for me will save my clan from trouble I weaved with my own hands."

As Shaltear stood alone in the training hall, her parents watched her and sighed.

Everywhere in the RiverBlood Empire, Karag Anvilheart was being discussed.

The hall of fame list. He had appeared on the hall of fame list. This person would be an important individual in the empire from now on. Everyone knew the implications associated with someone appearing on the hall of fame ranking.

RiverBlood Empire. Imperial Galaxy.

Star System Selin—Region of the Imperial Faction where the 5th Imperial Clan stayed.

In a large living room in an Estate, several individuals were gathered.

"So someone has appeared on the hall of fame list," a gruff looking vampire male with a red goatee said.

Everyone looked at him respectfully. All those in the room were intermediate stage universe level powerhouses. They were all very powerful. Each of them were vampires with the law of darkness. They could fight opponents three ranks above their level. But, they were showing the man who had just spoken respect.

"Yes, Clan Lord." Everyone nodded respectfully.

"How many years has it been since someone appeared on the list? A thousand years right?"

"Exactly Clan Lord, a thousand years," someone seated at his right side, a female, said.

"It’s a pity he’s a human. Had he been a witch, a vampire or a werewolf, we could have requested if he would have loved to be betrothed to you, daughter," the man said.

"Father!!" the lady switched completely from calling the man clan Lord, using an endearing term.

Everyone in the room was quiet. Only the clan leader’s daughter could communicate to him like this. They were all used to these kinds of interactions between the two even during serious meetings. But no one dared to say anything. They didn’t want to die.

"Hehe. You should find yourself a man and settle down. I need grandchildren," the clan Lord said.

His daughter merely pouted.

The man shook his head and his demeanor shifted to the usual dominating one. "We should try and let Karag Anvilheart become more acquainted with us when he arrives in the imperial capital. Everyone, what do you think?"

Someone said, "Lord Uvruth, I agree completely. Apart from the fact that we failed to gain the favor of the alchemist who appeared on the hall of fame list, 1000 years ago, this Karag Anvilheart, his feats are too abnormal. Even a fool will realize that he will go far than any of those who have appeared on the hall of fame list previously. We need him on our side."

Another added, "That’s true. We should be able to compete with the other clans this time. We have limited resources as a result of lack of secondary Carrier professionals compared to the other four clans. With what Anvilheart has pulled off, he’s literally worth a thousand runesmiths."

Murmurs spread across the room as everyone nodded in agreement.

"Since we’ve all agreed on this, we will procede as such."

Across the imperial Capital/ Galaxy, the other four clans were having similar meetings about Anvilheart. Each one of them wanted him on their side.

He had not even arrived in the Imperial Capital. Yet, the imperial clans were thinking of ways to win his favor.
