Serena finally walked across the room to meet him at the balcony, as it seemed like the handsome man was stuck on his spot. They were so close she could feel his breath on her red hair. Serena lifted her head to gaze up at him, while he stared down.

Her blue eyes were shaky as it met his fiery, piercing red ones.

"Little kitten," he called, his voice a low whisper at the end, as he leaned down to whisper in her ear, "You are beautiful."

Eiravyn’s lip was so close to the skin around her ear, that she could feel his hot breath there, the sensation along with the chilly night air did things to her.

"Thank you, Eiravyn," Serena responded, her voice came out breathless. Such a simple exchange of words, yet it did things to her, things she couldn’t comprehend.

"You don’t look bad yourself." Serena managed to stutter after a while.

Eiravyn grunted inwardly, the way her voice sounded earlier was the most seductive music he had ever heard, and it turned him on so much. "Serena..." he murmured, looking utterly defeated. His lips parted as he breathed in quick and shallow breaths. Eiravyn cleared his throat in an effort to contain his growing arousal, ’It was not time, he just had to wait a few more hours. Then he could have her." He mentally chanted, like a silent prayer.

Serena stared into his eyes and she subconsciously licked her lips because of how deep and intense Eiravyn’s eyes looked right now, it was the same way it was this afternoon. She hoped he was not about to be possess by whatever it was this afternoon. The ever so mighty powerful vampire king suddenly looked like a powerless little kid in front of her, it looked like he was desperately in need of something, but Serena couldn’t guess what that thing was.

"Little kitten... a quick warning. Whenever you are with me avoid licking your lip, most especially when we’re about going somewhere urgent." He told her, his breathing a little rugged. And Serena could not help not to nod at his command that sounded like a plea.

When Eiravyn managed to control his hardened crotch area. He adjusted himself with a shake of his head, he was beginning to get used to the mate-bond and how easily it was turning him to a horny teenage boy, who was just learning about sex. It was obvious that no matter the setting or how Serena was dressed, his lower part didn’t mind it and was easily aroused by her scent and body.

Smiling pleasantly at the extra-ordinary beauty in front of him, Eiravyn pulled the shawl around her and stood to face her. "Little kitten, you might feel cold outside where we are going at this moment, if it’s too much for you let me know."

"Yes, Eiravyn." She nodded and thought, ’Will they be going by tele...?’

In the next moment, they reached the place of where Eiravyn wished to take Serena with him. The moment they arrived, the sight that graced Serena’s eyes was that of a huge garden, Serena inhaled the air around her, her lips stretched into a dreamy smile. Since it was the second time she was traveling with Eiravyn by teleportation, she was beginning to like the feeling and was starting to get used to it.

Serena noticed that the whole place smelled good. "Does this garden belong to the high priest. It’s his garden right?"

Eiravyn answered with a curt nod.

"I can feel the same energy I felt while in the witch coven in here." Serena voices out her observation. When she stepped into the garden, she felt a sudden calming sensation coming from the surrounding, it was completely different from the energy back in the royal house. And it made her think, they’ve gone back to the witch territory. She wouldn’t be surprised if Eiravyn told her they were back in the witch coven.

"That’s becaus this place has a little connection with magic." Eiravyn informed her.

Serena was still observing the plush row of trees. The whole area looked like a meadow full of wildflowers of different kind, yet there was order in chaos. Serena noticed the lack of fence, and it seemed the whole of this area belonged solely to the high priest, as it appeared secluded from the town. A strong gust of wind touched Serena’s nose and she buried it in Eiravyn’s chest with her eyes shut tightly and held him tighter.

"Kitten, it’s a little over decrees here because this area is closer to the mountains covered in snow, but it would get better when we get inside the high priest cabin. Just bear with it for now." said Eiravyn.

When he saw that Serena was shivering slightly, he pulled her close, "Come, let me keep you warm.

As Eiravyn said those words, Serena drew closer to him and felt him take her hands into his, it was the same as before, her body temperature was still down. Within minutes Eiravyn held her hands, she felt warmth rushing into her, Serena could not help but gasped in surprise, ’did Eiravyn use his powers just now?" She wondered.

"I thought vampires are cold blooded, how come...?" Serena questioned, as the warmth pulling from Eiravyn was strong and intense, she felt him clasped her small hands with his big ones, his hold on her was firm and sure.

"Just bear with it for now." He said.

Serena stopped in her track and turned to look up at Eiravyn, wondering if he heard her question or was only pretending not to, "Eiravyn, how come your hands are so warm when it’s said that vampires are cold-blooded?" Serena posed the same question again.

Eiravyn understood what she was trying to say, he smiled and replied. "Most of the tales told by humans were that vampires are cold-blooded and they don’t have a heart, but kitten, so you want to try something new?" He suddenly stopped walking and turned to face Serena, without waiting for her reply.

Eiravyn lifted the same hand that was used to hold hers, and brought it up to his chest level, "Now, Kitten. Listen for me, will you?" Said Eiravyn, "You can close your eyes."

Serena was suddenly pumped with adrenaline, didn’t pay attention to their current intimate position and immediately closed her eyes, then her eyes snapped open in utter disbelief, as she gasped at Eiravyn in shock.
