Help! I Think We Summoned A Demon King-Chapter 25: Damsel In Distress
Zorat came out the large doors and into the criss crossing hallways he had entered from.
He maneuvered through the paths he had taken and was soon upon the large double doors from the start.
With a light knock on his part, the doors sprang open, by the effort of two royal guards.
Though these guys were different from the shoemakker brothers; the first royal guards that were at the entrance. It seems these were the night shifts, and their times were rotational
They recognized who Zorat was but unlike the other guys, didn’t show any condescension, neither were they particularly respectful.
They just opened the doors and stood to the side as Zorat walked through with his hands behind his back.
But what Zorat saw a little ways to the front, was both a little surprising and quite amusing to him.
Florielle was crunched on the floor, her hands wrapped around her knees, with her head resting sideways on them. She appeared to be in deep sleep.
How long has she been waiting for ?
...what a peculiar young lady. Hehehe
Zorat grinned as he moved to Florielle and bent as he tapped her fluffy cheeks."Wake up sleeping beauty." He said in a gentle tone.
Florielle’s eyes fluttered open slowly as the visage of Zorat’s warm smile claimed her view.
"Ah...lord hero! ...You are done." She stuttered as she sprang upright.
"Sorry ... I didn’t know when I fell asleep." She said looking embarrassed.
"It’s fine ... .But why are you even here in the first place ?"
"I um...I came to see if there was anything else I could help you with after the banquet...but..."
"When I arrived...you were still inside, so I began to wait... and that was how I ...." Florielle explained in her little voice.
"I see.... Well, there’s nothing for you to help me with for the day. It would seem you’ve only stressed yourself for nothing."
"Go on now. Head on back to your quarters so you can resume early tomorrow." Zorat encouraged Florielle’s dismissal, but the young lady only stood there gripping the elm of her maidservant dress and looking face down.
Zorat could tell there was something on her mind, so he added."Is there something you want to talk about ?"
Florielle fumbled with the elm of her dress looking conflicted, the slightly exposed portion of her heavy cleavage rising and falling rhythmically.
"Can...can I maybe...stay a little while more with you ?." She muttered unsurely, peeking her big brown eyes up slightly to gauge Zorat’s reaction to her statement.
Zorat raised a left eyebrow at Florielle’s words. It was evident that for some reason, she did not want to return to the maidservants quarters.
But whatever her reasons or feelings were; it matters not to Zorat. Zorat only saw benefits. And there was not really any immediate benefit in accomadating her wishes. Future benefits were a definite though. Still, she’s quite fun to tease. So that’s something worth accomadating her for.
"I don’t see a reason why not ..." Zorat said kindly as he started walking with Florielle trailing a step behind.
"But do you mind sharing with me what’s troubling you ?." Zorat added as he intentionally fell into step with Florielle, working side-by-side.
"No...lord hero. Don’t bother yourself with someone like me. I’ve already inconvenienced you enough as is.." Florielle stuttered, waving her hands frantically.
"Who’s your lord again ?" Zorat asked as he turned to her while walking.
"Of course you, lord hero!"
"So you are disobeying your lord then ?" He said with a playful tone, that was very calming to the nerves of Florille.
At Zorat’s words, Florielle was quiet for a moment before she began speaking again...
"Lord hero.... You remember when I told you about how I was from a fallen noble house..." Florielle began saying with a sad smile, and Zorat nodded to show he was listening.
"Well... that was just the summary..."
"My father was accused of treason against the kingdom by being associated with demons...."
"My father ...he was executed right after....."
"While I, my mother and siblings were sent into servitude in various noble households.."
"While I somehow found myself appointed to the palace.." while Florielle spoke, her voice was already cracking and quivering.
"It’s been over three years since then...but in the palace... I am still regarded as the daughter of the treasonist." She smiled bitterly.
"No matter ... .no matter how hard I try to fit in...they never see me as one of their own.... And at times like tonight when I especially can’t bear their disgust towards me... majorly from my fellow maids in the maidservants quaters..."
"I usually run out.... And I would hide in the old abandoned cabin..." she said embarrassedly as tears gathered in her eyes.
"So..you used to hide out in the hut I now occupy ?" Zorat said in understanding, while Florielle nodded.
"That’s why .... I was hoping...if maybe...if maybe I can just stay on the outside, just for tonight ..." Florille broke into light sobs as she mumbled.
Zorat turned fully towards Florielle, taking her into his arms he spoke softly."there there .. let it all out now .."
As if given the permission she’s been craving for all her life, with all the hurt accumulated all these years and pent up anguish....
Florielle let go as she wrapped her arms around Zorat, sobbing fully with her head pressed tightly to his chest.
Zorat was enveloped in her flowery scent. The feel of her against him and her palpitating heartbeat through her breasts that’s pressed flat against his chest.
"You don’t have to worry, my dear...."
"You can come over whenever you want... and you also don’t have to sleep outside. There’s enough space inside.."
Florielle moved just her head from Zorat’s chest as she looked at him with tears in her eyes."lord hero... I can’t. I have already inconvenienced you enough as is...."
"Shhh... it’s not an inconvenience.." Zorat said, patting her back as he gently rested her head back on his chest....
"...you don’t have to be so polite around me... you can just relax," he added warmly.
’lord hero is so nice...’
’I was scared he would be offended by my request...’
’But not only did he accept... he even comforted me..’
’I will forever continue to serve lord hero forever.’ Florille thought with conviction as she relished in the comfort of Zorat’s embrace.
Might be her devotion... or her blind trust in Zorat. But Florille showed zero reaction as her lord hero’s hands glided down her back and settled on her generous curve.
The number one trait of a demon, is that when you give them an inch, they take a mile. And Mal’Zorat was no different.
He relished the sensation of his hand squeezing and massaging Florielle’s buttocks. The softness was cushioning and amazing, as his hands sank deeper into them like soft dough.
Hehehe...such random situations like this... is the beauty of being mortal...
Florielle continued to sob lightly as Zorat whispered in her ears. "Shhh... you are safe now...".
"You are safe with me."
