Zorat walked over to the low rise table in the corner of his cabin, were two rings, two gemstones, and a pendant lay, each one a treasure that could cater to all the needs of an ordinary family of four in this kingdom for several years.
Zorat could observe their information through this world’s own imbuilt system mechanism. Just like Zorat has his personal interface that transmutes perceived data into readable text. So too does this world.
First, Zorat picked up both gemstones, one red and the other blue. He could already feel the surge of potent mana inside the two. The blue stone was way bigger than the red. As Zorat concentrated on the blue stone, its information spiralled into view in his mind’s eye...

So this is what Florielle was talking about when she mentioned a stone that can both be used as an alternate mana source, and can also be used as currency for kingdom to kingdom transaction.
She said one was nequal to several thousand imperial coins....
Its a consumable, and might be useful for normal people....
Still... its useless to me. Zorat mused as he tossed the stone aside.
For a normal person; the man blue stone could allow them to carry out skill bombardment for a few minutes before its completely consumed. A very important life saving tool. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
For heroes with divine skills, it might allow them to use their divine skills for maybe ten exact times before its complety consumed; still very useful, and can save a heroes life in a pinch.
But to Zorat ?. The stone will be consumed in just one shot and the skill he is trying to bring to life might not even manifest fully.
Zorat had brought his space manipulation skill close to the authority level at this point. The only drawback was his currently weak body and form, of which was already growing stronger but not fast enough, so he had plans for other ’special’ methods to increase the overall durability and strength of his body.
Still. The blue mana stone is not a waste; he could trade it for something better along the line.
Setting his sights on the second gemstone, its information spiralled into view...

Victor must really love his daughter.... Giving something so precious... hehehe.
Zorat grinned as he calculated the advantages.
With such a large reserve of mana; even when Zorat is mentally drained from casting spells, he could keep spamming more spells for a while. It was quite the useful treasure...
If the grand vizier can afford to give this to his daughter... it must mean he has something better or equal as well...
Then that means... the royal family must have something even more ridiculous in their royal treasury.... Hehehe.
Zorat already had plans to loot the royal treasury. It was all part of his scheme to completely destroy Victor Malverin; but now there’s also a plus; he could gain some useful piece of gear to assist his endeavors in this world.
Setting down the red mana stone, Zorat picked up the two rings. One was silver and had what looked like a diamond embedded in its shaft, while the other was golden with intricate carvings in its frame.
Concentrating on the first one; its information appeared before Zorat...

Zorat tossed the silver ring aside, it wasn’t as impressive as the red mana stone. But it wasn’t completely useless either.
Shifting his attention to the gold ring with the markings, its information unfurled before him..

The more Zorat browsed through the details of the treasures Victor Malverin Bestowed his daughter, the more he came to understand that she is his sole weakness.
I wonder how he’ll react when he finds out what i have and will do to his daughter... hehehe. ah ... what a feeling.
Zorat grinned as her tossed the golden ring to the side. It was quite useful and he might even wear it around sometime, but it wasn’t all that special.
Might be special to others, even to other hero candidates. But to Zorat, the only treasure that he would be happy to get his hands on currently, would be something that can boost his stats and improve his physique.
Even with all the adaptation his body has been through, Zorat’s base stats had not showed that much of an improvement. Just a little uptick from what it was on only two stats. Zorat simply willed it, and his status window materialized in his minds eye....

Hmm... nothing much has changed. Looks about the same from last when i checked.
Ah. defence went up by one...
Now i wonder... do all the heroes gain stats this way by training without having to slaughter demons or monsters ?.
Zorat had been made to understand that the only way for denizens of this world to improve their stats was to either level up and distribute acquired stats to preferred constitution, or to make use of artifacts or armament to gain temporary boosts to stats.
Though, there are rumors of elixers capable of doing that; however, they are mighty expensive and not very effective, since the body slowly rejects it.
I guess there’s just one treasure left to check...
Hmm. i hope its something i can use against her father. hehehe.
