Eliana noticed the way Amber suddenly became pale when they talked about a DNA test and asked "Why do you look so terrified of getting a DNA test, Amber?"
Amber glared at Eliana, who only scoffed and added, "At this rate, you are making it obvious that the baby in your womb isn’t for Jason."
"Shut your mouth, Eliana," Sloane said coldly.
"That’s enough spectacle for today. Why don’t we all go home as a family and talk this through?" Henry said softly, trying to see if he could buy some time to salvage this situation, but his daughter had another thing in mind.
"Mr. Lennox, you may not know me well, but I know my family well, especially Sloane, and if you don’t take Amber to your doctor to do this test immediately, then I assure you that the baby will be for your son, even if it isn’t."
Cecilia may not like Eliana because she sees her as an orphan who took her sister’s fiance to enter a rich and powerful family like the Sanders, but she feels as if the girl has a point and says, "I agree with Eliana. Amber should follow us to the hospital immediately for a DNA test and only my trusted doctor would do this test on her. Any argument on that?"
"I have no objections," Henry replied. Sloane had assured him that the baby belonged to Jason, and right now, that baby was the Moore family’s hope.
"I have seen enough drama for today, I need to get back to work." Charlotte suddenly said as she pulled on her sunglasses.
"Mother, should we stop at the mall before going to work? There is this bag I saw and I feel it’s going to look good on you." Eliana said as they both turned to leave the hall.
"Everything looks good on me," Charlotte replied proudly.
"Well, that is true." Eliana supported, causing them to laugh.
Their sound of laughter was like a needle, pricking the hearts of Amber and Sloane.
Seeing Eliana so close to Charlotte made Amber feel like it was her life that was supposed to be that. She is the one who was supposed to be standing beside Charlotte and laughing with her.
As for Sloane, she hated that her plans were ruined because of Eliana and Charlotte and their laugh felt like she was being mocked. But not all hope is lost because Amber has assured her that Jason is the father of the baby, and as long as they still have that baby, then the game is not over.

Sanders Group, Conference room.
"The proposal on your desk shows a well-detailed plan on how the construction at C district is going to be done and with an estimated value of how much the company would make once it’s completed." A young woman named Cristal said as the company executives flipped through the page but no one said anything because they were all waiting for Zachary to say something.
Zachary flipped to the end of the page and said "The budget for this project is too high. 2.8 billion is a lot of money."
"Yes it is, but it is nothing compared to the 900 or more billion dollars this company would earn once this project is completed. We are talking about building new condo units, new shopping malls, and new machines that can change the world." Cristal said with a determined look in her eyes.
"Not the machines; they haven’t been properly tested yet, and since you are eager to prove yourself, the company will provide 2 billion for this," Zachary said and closed the proposal.
Cristal widened her eyes and asked, "So, does that mean I’m in charge of this project?"
"You wrote the proposal, didn’t you?" Zachary asked with a frown.
"Yes, of course I did."
"Then you are in charge, but all final decisions are to be run by me before implementing them."
"Yes sir."
Zachary stood up and said, "Meeting is over."
After Zach left, some people congratulated Cristal, she thanked them and immediately ran after Zach.
"Mr. Sanders, a moment of your time please?"
Zachary stopped and turned to look at Cristal with a questioning look.
Cristal took that look as a sign to just get to the point and said, "I just wanted to thank you for giving me this chance, and I promise not to disappoint you or this company."
"I didn’t give you this project because of your father, Cristal. I gave you this project because I was truly impressed with your proposal, and you shouldn’t care about disappointing me because if you fail, you will only be disappointing yourself."
"Yes sir," Cristal replied and watched as Zachary left. She looks at his back for a few seconds before whispering, "So handsome."
"The man is married, Cristal."
Cristal shouted and turned to glare at her friend and colleague who had scared her.
Karis laughed and said, "I’m sorry for scaring you."
"Apology not accepted." Cristal said in feign anger.
"Fine, I will pay for tonight’s dinner. But jokes aside, please tell me you know the boss is married?"
Cristal rolled her eyes and replied, "Even if I wasn’t aware before, the ring on his middle finger is enough to tell me that he is taken."
Karis chuckled and said, "The ring on his middle finger hasn’t stopped you from drooling over him so far."
"You can’t blame me. The man is everything a girl could wish for. Just out of curiosity, do you know who his wife is?"
