His Beloved Treasure-Chapter 1544 - 433: Two-Person Game (Part 2)
"One drink each, and that’s it! There are just too many people tonight!"
He walked over and then plopped down onto the sofa.
Qin Mu quickly moved aside, her heart almost leaping out because of his sudden action.
She lowered her large eyes and seriously stared at him: "Are you, are you okay?"
"I’m okay? What do you mean? I’m not okay!"
Mu Yichen slowly raised his eyes, his bewildered gaze capturing the panic in her eyes, then he raised his hand and firmly grasped her wrist.
Qin Mu heard a click from her wrist and spun halfway, landing on his knee.
Nervously, Qin Mu looked at him, her breathing a little erratic: "Mu Yichen, you’re drunk again!"
Her voice carried a hint of annoyance, but Mu Yichen just chuckled and forcefully bit her neck, making Qin Mu feel like her neck might break.
Mu Yichen clung to her: "You always refuse to face your own heart! Qin Mu!"
Qin Mu’s heart trembled, suddenly quieting down. She lowered her gaze to look at him, seeing a hint of pain in his pitch-black eyes, and her heart hurt involuntarily.
"Are those three words really that important?"
"I’m asking you! Have you ever whispered those words to me when I was asleep or drunk?"
Mu Yichen didn’t respond to her; important or not, he believed anyone with sense should know, and he simply turned the question back on her.
Qin Mu nodded: "Yes!"
She had said it, probably many times!
She couldn’t even count anymore!
Mu Yichen no longer spoke, just chuckled lightly, pressing his forehead against hers repeatedly.
"Go to sleep!"
He whispered to her, Qin Mu felt like she hadn’t heard it clearly, but the next moment was being carried by him into the bedroom.
Wasn’t it time to go home?
She hadn’t drunk much and could totally drive him back.
But...
It seemed, before she had a chance to say anything, she was already carried to the bed, and then...
Mu Yichen rarely fell asleep so quickly.
Qin Mu lay beside him quietly watching his sleeping face; because he had been drinking, his eyelids were slightly red, and Qin Mu raised her hand to gently rub them. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
When she sat up against the headboard, Mu Yichen instinctively moved into her arms, wrapping himself around her abdomen.
It made it convenient for her to stroke his face; Qin Mu chuckled softly, then couldn’t help but coax him to sleep like a child until he fell into a deep slumber.
At twelve, she drove home.
It’s not that she didn’t want to sleep with him, but her daughter was waiting for her to take her to school the next morning, and since she had promised little Mu Chenghuan, she didn’t want to break it.
As for Mu as the adult friend, he should be fine!
Back home, Qin Mu took off her high heels and quietly walked inside. Only when she reached upstairs did she hear someone softly call out to her: "Young mistress?"
Qin Mu heard Aunt Zhang’s voice and turned her head: "You haven’t slept yet!"
"About to sleep now!"
Aunt Zhang replied softly, Qin Mu bid her goodnight, then quietly carried her shoes upstairs.
Qin Mu quietly went upstairs and checked on Huanhuan’s room; the little girl cuddled her grandpa-given plush toy and was sleeping soundly!
Then she checked on her son, and quietly returned to her room.
Thinking how lucky it was now that it was pitch black, no one could see her lips all smudged by Mu.
Tomorrow, it should be better!
Qin Mu looked forward to it, then returned to her room, changed clothes, and went to sleep.
Mu Yichen was still asleep alone in the hotel suite, completely unaware that his wife had quietly gone home.
Qin Mu woke up at six-thirty in the morning, applied a facial and lip mask. After cleaning up, she put a layer of concealer on her neck before daring to go downstairs.
Her lips hadn’t healed, but she had applied dark lipstick.
In this winter, she seemed out of place with this warm home.
She acted as though she didn’t notice the puzzled looks from everyone, just greeted them as usual: "Good morning, everyone!"
The staff could do nothing but greet her as usual and then get on with their respective tasks.
Qin Mu went outside to practice Tai Chi with Grandpa, who watched her and couldn’t help but sigh: "Mumu! If only you were my granddaughter! I’d definitely have sent you to the military when you were in high school!"
"Why?"
Qin Mu curiously asked him, still maintaining steady movements.
"You’ve got endurance! You can handle hardships! You’re eager to learn! Just with these three qualities, you could easily land a small officer post in the army. After your service term, I could get you a job in a related department, and our family would proudly have someone with a military background."
