His Mute Wife: He Can't Sleep After She Left-Chapter 132: Is This What You Call Loving Me?
A sharp pain shot through Kiana Sutton’s lips, followed by a taste of metallic sweetness.
Ethan Sinclair had bitten through her lip.
Human instinct is to avoid pain, so Kiana Sutton subconsciously pushed Ethan Sinclair, and this seemed to completely infuriate him. His tongue invaded deeper; this time he didn’t stop at her lips, even her tongue wasn’t spared.
The strong taste of blood spread between their lips, and Kiana Sutton winced in pain, desperately wanting to escape.
But the more she resisted, the angrier Ethan became.
Her body carried the smell of teppanyaki, various perfumes, and random male scents.
So disgusting!
Before Kiana Sutton could react, he dragged her into the bathroom, turned on the shower, and poured the water over her head.
The water was cold, and Kiana Sutton resisted in discomfort. Ethan Sinclair tore off her clothes in a few swift moves and threw her into the bathtub.
Kiana Sutton was unprepared; as she fell, her waist hit the edge of the bathtub, and the pain made her break out in cold sweat.
But Ethan Sinclair showed no sympathy or tenderness. He loomed over Kiana Sutton, his gaze cold and terrifying. "I underestimated you. You say you love me, but you’re out there making me a fool. Kiana Sutton, you’re playing with fire!"
Just thinking about the scene in the photos ignited Ethan Sinclair’s fury to the point where he nearly wanted to kill Kiana Sutton.
Kiana Sutton was in pain and discomfort, but she caught the key word.
Making him a fool?
What fooling?
She was about to gesture, but Ethan gave her no chance; with a leap, he had entered the bathtub and pinned her down.
Each of Ethan Sinclair’s outbursts was torment for Kiana Sutton.
Torment, both physical and emotional.
Guessing he might have misunderstood, she wanted to explain, but her hands were pinned above her head, and she couldn’t speak to explain.
Before, although Ethan Sinclair kissed her, he typically did more than kiss.
But today, he continuously kissed her, each time waiting until she was nearly breathless, only to allow her a few gasps and then fiercely resuming.
She didn’t know how long it took, but eventually, Ethan Sinclair pulled Kiana Sutton out, wrapped her in a bath towel, and carried her out of the bathroom.
He tossed her onto the bed, climbed on top again, and bit her lip wound once more, his eyes still cold, "Between me and Miles Goodman, who’s the better kisser?"
Kiana Sutton was utterly exhausted; her eyes had lost focus, but upon hearing Ethan’s words, she struggled to refocus on him.
"Do you think that boy Miles Goodman can satisfy you? Or are you using him to get back at me because you know I love Kate?"
Ethan Sinclair had mentioned before that he liked Kate Lynch, not once but multiple times.
But before, even if she felt unbearable inside, Kiana Sutton never expressed it.
And today, right after enduring his torment, hearing him say he liked Kate Lynch made her both sad and angry, prompting her to slap him.
Things were fine until he returned from visiting Kate Lynch, and then he started acting strange.
If he was upset for Kate Lynch’s sake, he should just say so. Why pin an affair on her, accuse her of making him a fool?
Her slap set off a fuse, and Ethan exploded.
He grabbed her throat, "You dare hit me? What? Did I touch a nerve, and now you’re embarrassed and angry?"
Kiana’s face flushed instantly, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Crying again? Ha... Do you think your tears can solve everything?"
He wiped her tears away harshly, his voice cold as ice, "Do you know, looking at you now is utterly disgusting!"
Kiana Sutton pushed Ethan away forcefully, angered, she gestured, "Accuse without reason. Why touch me if you find me disgusting?"
"Accuse without reason?"
Ethan Sinclair sneered, "You won’t cry until you see the coffin? Fine..."
He threw his phone at Kiana Sutton, "Take a good look. See if I falsely accused you!"
Kiana Sutton picked up the phone and her expression immediately turned dire.
How could this be?
On the screen, she held a phone taking pictures of fireworks, while Miles Goodman was kissing her cheek.
"What else do you have to say for yourself?"
Kiana Sutton looked at Ethan Sinclair and shook her head.
No!
It’s not like that!
She didn’t know who sent the photo to Ethan, but it’s definitely not as he sees it.
"Can you say you didn’t have dinner with Miles Goodman tonight?"
"Can you say the person watching fireworks with you wasn’t Miles Goodman?"
"Can you say the two people in this photo aren’t you and Miles Goodman!?"
With each question Ethan fired, Kiana Sutton had no defense.
But the truth wasn’t the full story!
Kiana was about to gesture, but to Ethan, her lack of retort to those questions was a glaring issue.
He grabbed her hand tightly, anger and complex emotions turning his eyes red.
"Kiana Sutton, is this what you call loving me?"
Kiana Sutton, crying, shook her head, wanting to explain, but Ethan no longer wanted to see it.
"Do you know what I thought when I saw that photo?"
Seeing the murderous intent in Ethan’s eyes, Kiana was too scared to move.
"That’s right, I wanted to kill you! But now, thinking about it, letting you die would be too easy. You deserve to live... to endure all my fury!"
Ethan Sinclair was truly enraged, leaving Kiana Sutton in a miserable state.
The entire night, she was not given a moment’s peace by Ethan.
When Kiana Sutton woke again, her whole body ached from top to bottom.
She was still alive.
Lying in bed for a long time, she finally sorted through the events of last night.
The photo... if there was no mistake, it was either a misalignment or edited.
She knew more than anyone that Miles Goodman hadn’t kissed her face.
Yet Ethan didn’t care to distinguish between right and wrong, and declared she was unfaithful.
Ultimately, it wasn’t love, for there was no trust.
Ha... He had reiterated countless times that the one he loved was Kate Lynch, so what was she hoping for?
Chelsea Chapman was startled when she saw Kiana Sutton, "Young Madam, what happened to your mouth?"
Kiana Sutton’s lips and tongue were bitten through by Ethan, her eyes swollen like walnuts, and her face was as frightening as it could get.
In fact, the bite marks and hickeys on her body and neck were far worse, but she’d covered them with clothing and a high-collared shirt.
To keep Chelsea from worrying, she smiled shyly, "Last night... I slept too late, nothing serious, I’m heading to work now."
Chelsea thought Ethan had gone to Kiana Sutton’s room last night and chuckled, a knowing look on her face.
But she couldn’t help but say, "Young Madam, you shouldn’t always give in to Young Master. If he keeps biting your lips, it must be painful to eat."
Chelsea was naturally pleased to see the young couple in love.
But Ethan’s preferences in bed, really, only Young Madam could keep tolerating them.
Kiana Sutton’s eyes flickered slightly, she nodded gently.
The first thing she did upon returning to the company was write a resignation letter...
