His soul-Chapter 100: Your friend
Gina was still sitting on the floor as soon as she entered her room, her meeting with Massimo was completely unexpected and she had never imagined before. A friend she had been looking for because of his sudden disappearance turned out to be a man she hated, even when she didn’t know what that man’s face looked like.
"Oh no wonder he knows all about this house," said Gina loudly cursing Massimo who had shown a secret passage in his grandfather’s house. "You damn swindler."
With a heart still burning with anger at Massimo, whom she had only met a moment ago, Gina then went into the bathroom to clean her body. Today she wanted to sleep early so that she could wake up early tomorrow morning. Gina has important plans tomorrow morning. Because just found out today that Francia is married, Gina doesn’t have any gifts for her boss, so Gina plans to look for gifts for Francia tomorrow morning. Moreover, now that she has received a bonus for her ten days off yesterday, Gina plans to use the money to buy Francia a wedding present.
While soaking in the bathtub, Gina suddenly woke up when she remembered something, with a drenched body without using anything, Gina then grabbed her cellphone which was on the dry sink. Without thinking Gina then opened the sim card storage slot and immediately threw it in the trash after saving some important numbers on her cellphone.
Gina decided to change her sim card because she didn’t want to have any more contact with Massimo, after throwing her sim card into the trash, Gina went back into the bathtub. In the past, when she was still living with her mother at her house, Gina never had much time to relax like she does now. After coming home from school Gina has a lot of work to do to help her mother. But now that she is living with her father’s family, Gina can soak as long as she wants, even now Gina can decide which bath soap is good for her skin. It’s a very rapid progress, a pleasure in life that Gina never imagined she would be able to feel.
After soaking for more than twenty minutes, Gina rinsed in the shower. Gina used the soap given by her grandmother which contains the best honey and milk for rinsing. After her body was completely clean, Gina then grabbed her towel which was in a small cupboard not far from the sink, what an extraordinary life. Although Gina is not as respected by the maids as the maids respect Selena and Rosa, but for the most basic things such as Gina’s bathroom equipment, there is no need to prepare it yourself, everything is taken care of by the maids.
Knock .. knock...
"Excuse me, you were called by Mr Julian to go downstairs, Miss" said a maid from the front door startling Gina who had just come out of the bathroom.
"Daddy called me?" Gina asked again to make sure.
"Yes miss."
"Ok, I’ll get dressed first. After that I go downstairs," Gina answered half-screaming from the room without opening her bedroom door. Gina didn’t want anyone to see her in a half-naked state like now.
"Okay Miss."
After conveying the message, the maid rushed out of the front of Gina’s room to resume her work, while Gina immediately got dressed because she didn’t want to make her father wait too long. Although not very familiar with her father, Gina tried to be as nice to him, like the message her late grandmother always said to her.
As always, Gina’s sense of dress is always unique. Using a white t-shirt combined with black overalls makes her look like a teenage girl in general, unlike Selena and Rosa who choose to wear adult clothes that don’t match their age.
"Where’s Daddy?" Gina asked a maid as soon as she reached the first floor.
"It’s in the living room, miss."
"Thank you."
The maid smiled a little in response to Gina’s words, all this time at home the only ones who said, please, sorry and thank you were the maid, only Barbara and Gina. The rest no one spoke like that except for Julian who was still able to say thank you for several occasions even though he rarely said it.
As soon as she arrived in the living room, Gina didn’t immediately greet her father, she was still standing near the large urn that stood upright beside her waiting for her father to finish talking to someone on the phone.
Julian, who was busy talking to someone, immediately smiled broadly when he saw Gina who was already standing nearby. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"Wait sir, my daughter has arrived. Please talk to her directly," said Julian kindly as he walked over to Gina.
"Someone’s looking for you, honey." Julian handed his phone to Gina gently.
Gina frowned. "Who?"
"A man you helped earlier," said Julian curtly.
"The man I help? How can I help?" asked Gina, confused.
Julian smiled broadly with pride, instead of directly giving his cell phone to Gina, Julian suddenly gave Gina a hug. "Daddy’s proud of you, honey. You really did inherit your mother’s kindness."
Gina, who was still confused, didn’t react when she was being hugged by her father, she still didn’t understand what her father had said earlier that she had helped a man. Because today he didn’t meet any man other than the bus driver, the customers who came to buy chicken and Brandon, who came to pick Francia up this afternoon. So it would be strange if his father suddenly said she had helped a man.
"Speak, the person wants to thank you in person," said Julian again with a smile when he released his arm from Gina.
Gina didn’t immediately receive her father’s cell phone, instead she took it away from her. "He wanted to thank me? But why did he call Daddy?"
Julian chuckled, he then grabbed Gina’s hand and handed the cellphone into Gina’s hand. "Weren’t you the one who gave him Daddy’s cell phone number when he wanted to ask for yours earlier, hm?"
Gosh... What is this?
Gina was getting confused, she really didn’t do everything her father said. Helping a man and giving his father’s cell phone number are two things she doesn’t do at all.
"Daddy’s gone, Daddy won’t bother you," said Julian again with a smile.
After being left by her father, Gina just lifted her father’s cell phone to her ear.
"Hi friends, why did it take so long to pick up my phone?"
Deg
Gina’s eyes were wide as she heard a voice that was at the end of the phone.
"You.."
"Yes, it’s me Marco. Your friends."
