"However it is the truth of war, King Cyrus. the moment our late King Almen went out to war, we all were ready for the outcome." SIERRA kept a calm approach towards him. There was no malicious intent in her eyes, except the difference among them. "I hope that my son is doing well with your comrade too."
"I met Seb after the war. He got few bruises, otherwise everything is perfect." Cyrus described Seb’s position and this put a relief on Sierra’s heart. But she didn’t bring the same to be read so easily from her face. "I’m grateful for you not treating us harshly after the late King’s death."
"We all are family. I won’t say that King Almen had done something worse with me. But I will not blame any of you because of that. All of you can continue to live your life under the Kingdom, in the palace as you were used to. Your titles must be already brought to your notice by now.." Cyrus told them honestly.
Sierra agreed with his words but on the other hand, Tia was still slightly alert. She had questions and tried her best ot sleeptight her lips. But to her worry, she wasn’t best at hiding her expression from the very observant gaze of Cyrus, "Lady tia please ask whatever you think you need to know."
"K-King Cyrus.... are you sure you don’t hold any grudge against us? " she concealed that he didn’t resent them. They weren’t practically ever close. All they shared was normally bound, as they stood in the terms that he was the son of any past affair of the King. Practically, in their eyes, he was always the illegitimate son whose mother wasn’t part of the kingdom either.
But now that they heard the rumor going around about how mercilessly King Almen had killed his parents centuries ago, they found it still to be untrue and recalled their cold treatment towards him was the result of their absence of notice.

"She is already welcomed to our Kingdom." Sierra acknowledged and from their words, it was sufficient for Cyrus to learn that they were accepting of the mere facts too.
It made his heart satisfied. Just a few more talks and he took his leave. Both the ladies went towards the special area. It didn’t surprise him but his eyes swer now stagnant on Lady Aura,who was also eager to talk with him in person.
"I hope King Cyrus doesn’t mind giving me some personal time."
"Never. In fact I was actually looking out to see you.." Cyrus’ scurvy lips gave Aura a hint that he knew what she wanted to convey to him.
They both came in another corner of h place and as Aura turned around,she looked at him with her soft and pleading eyes, "Do you have any idea?"
"I do know a lot. But I prefer hearing from you." Cyrus’s word bugged Aura. She pressed her lips into a straight line to not think much. As she calmed herself,she muttered, "Since you already know, I don’t have any reason to hide it from you."
"My relationship with King Almen deteriorated once he refused to give me some affection. I was simply looking for some love and care but he never did. Even though before marrying this family,I Knew I would be the third wife, that never mattered until he showed some respect which he never did." Aura’s pressed words keenly heard by Cyrus too.
He didn’t mind knowing but he had seen this with his two eyes. King Almen...treated her as usual while she possessed many qualities in herself. "You found yourself neglected."
"Yes. My isolation found its comfort in someone else’s arms. Despite knowing it wasn’t right for me to do this,I ended up doing it and let myself draw more towards someone else..." Lady Aura kept her eyes lower which was enough embarrassment. She had no confidence to lift her eyes and match his at all.
"But King Almen never knew about this. I was grateful for this at least that till his death, he never learned about my involvement." at this point, Cyrus’ brows lifted from its place.
He was in no place to have these talks with her. it was her life. However, since she took the initiative to define her current state, he believed that the other someone was a significant person. "May I know about....?"
