It is obvious that I won’t be getting any information about this plan of theirs so I’ll just have to get back to what I was doing.

"I believe there’s nothing more to this conversation then. If you have nothing to share with me, I’ll be off." I said while turning away from him.

"One day. One day I’m certain we’ll meet again Wraith." Rezex replied before departing from the rooftop.

Like that I made my way back to my place, there was no reason to waste anymore time on a matter that doesn’t mean a thing. Rezex made it clear that I wouldn’t be told anything and they don’t seem like the people I want to hurt.

It only took a few hours to get back home, I opened up the door to my messy apartment, shit scattered everywhere with different papers all over the boards on the walls.

Of course I’ve been tracking different people for days in hopes of finding one that’ll lead to Vantablade. How is it that there has been nothing.

Three more weeks went by and I finally found new information about Vantablade. The one gang responsible for my brother’s death was wiped out in one go.

Bodies covered the streets, all different types of bullets were fired here at them. I looked over everything with the members but none of them ever got a chance to fire back at their killer.

Slam!!! "Damnit!!! I was supposed to be the one to kill them!" I shouted after slamming my hand against the table.

I couldn’t believe a damn thing about this because who would just randomly wipe out Vantablade like that. Not a single gang I looked into had any problems with them.

Most thought they were annoying but it was never enough for them to take any action against them.

~Vantablade was confirmed to be killed by a member from Karma. One that has been buzzing about lately.

Who? Rezex couldn’t possibly be the one making such a scene, he doesn’t seem concerned about Vantablade. None of them really had a reason to wipe them out so I don’t understand.

~A member known as Zero. Awfully familiar to the name of your brother isn’t it? Surely he couldn’t be alive.

Sounds like that is exactly what you’re thinking but I don’t think he would’ve been saved by anyone. By coincidence karma happened to show up?

He wouldn’t work with people like that either which confuses me even more.

Start running some searches on this guy so we can see what he’s been up to. If it is him, I’ll know when I see how he looks.

Two more days have gone by since I’ve started my search on the guy going by Zero. He has a metal arm just like me and his appearance does seem to match my brother.

Lotus/9 seems to be running some sort of operation with Karma, but I’m not really sure what to expect. Lotus/9 doesn’t trust anybody and is probably going to betray them.

Zero being part of Karma is the exact reason why I need to do some checks.

I don’t want him to die if he really is back. I’ve been getting stronger because of him so that’s the last thing I’d want.

~Zero does seem to match everything you’ve given me for the search. I’ve also seen some appearances of them by a small mana port.

I’m always surprised by how you can acquire this information since not even the cops try to look for it. You’d think that they would monitor some of those cameras but I guess not.

Especially out by a damn mana port, what the hell is wrong with them.

I appreciate that. I’ll have to deal with some of the lotus/9 members. I really wasn’t looking forward to dealing with them like that but it doesn’t seem like I’ll have a choice.

They’ll probably invade the Karma headquarters when they leave since the best people will probably be on this raid.

I need you to setup a route for the Karma headquarters and find the fastest way there. I’d rather not waste the time if I can avoid it, those guys won’t waste any time either.

~Planning the fastest possible routes for you to take. I don’t believe you’ll have any issues if you stick to the rooftops like usual.

I followed the route along the rooftops while keeping an eye out for any potential threats along the way. Lotus/9 was bound to be hiding in the shadows, waiting for the right opportunity.

It would be smart to make sure they don’t notice me since they have some experience on me. The element of surprise is the only real way I’ll be able to handle them.

Well, unless I can keep myself under the radar when I get there.

After a couple of hours I managed to reach the karma headquarters, just in time to see my brother leaving with a few of the other members. Rezex also seems to be on this team so this raid is guaranteed to be successful.

Also with my brothers history, based on everything since he’s popped up, he is clearing scum.

Zero is even better than before, I can’t deny that by any means. I’m not sure it’ll be good for me to talk with him any time soon since he has been gone for awhile.

Karma might actually be good for him as well since they aren’t terrible people and do look out for others.

~Lotus/9 is definitely hidden throughout the alleyways around the headquarters. It would be best for you to stay where you are for the time being.

I’ll keep that in mind for now, they’ll have to die regardless of how long I sit around.
