The group’s eyes instantly widened when they saw the Distorted creature!

"I have a plan!" Royal dodged a projectile and shouted to everyone.

"And what is it?!" Aran asked as he ran from the Distorted creature.

"Lin and I will try to get close to it. I’ll activate my skill and gain power from light, and Lin will use his skill to transport me near the creature safely. You’ll use your skill and approach it from the rear. Once I start slashing, you start too!"

"That way, we can kill it quickly without giving it time to adapt to the pain and grow stronger!" he finished and dodged another attack from the creature.

Aran grinned and suddenly vanished from sight!

Lin heard Royal’s plan and nodded.

Only two people remained in the forest as the Distorted creature chased after Royal. He yelled:

"Aaarrgh!" the Distorted creature roared in pain and began thrashing wildly, destroying everything in its path!

That gave Royal time to retreat, but Lin stared at it with a puzzled expression.

"That was just a tiny scratch... Could it really be enough to activate its ability?"

He sighed, decided to ignore it, and continued provoking the creature to make it chase him!

Meanwhile, Royal had already activated his skill: "Power of Light!"

Light gathered around him, forming a golden aura that radiated divine presence!

"Only a 1.5x boost... But it should be enough if everything goes according to plan."

Royal charged at the Distorted creature at high speed as it chased Lin!

"Lin, run toward me!" he shouted quickly.

Lin nodded, turned around, and sprinted toward Royal!

"Everyone get ready!" Royal pulled out his golden two-handed sword and swung it to the side!

As Lin reached Royal, the Distorted creature was right behind them — in a rather unusual way.

How? It leapt into the air and flew toward Lin, who was now standing next to Royal!

Just as it was a few meters away from them, it suddenly slowed down!

Everything within a five-meter radius was in a slowed state, as if time itself had been reduced!

But Lin had actually slowed time using his skill: "Slow Motion Perception!"

He sighed and looked at the ugly body of the Distorted creature. Though he never called anything "ugly", this creature was different.

Just seeing it triggered a natural revulsion, which he tried to suppress but couldn’t completely erase.

"Either way, you’re going to die now," he said as he moved Royal’s body aside and jumped up to reach the Distorted creature.

Lin landed quickly with the body in his arms and gently set it down, as if it were a light task.

This was because anything inside this time-slowed area, especially in the air, became much lighter.

Though it still took some effort.

Grabbing Royal’s body, he placed it right next to the Distorted creature.

And at that moment, the skill’s duration ended.

The time-slowed area instantly vanished, and the Distorted creature — which was about to crash into the ground — hit it immediately!

"W-what?" Royal was momentarily confused, but a second later, he regained his composure and shouted:

"Aran, now!" He raised his sword and began striking!

Aran appeared too and began stabbing the Distorted creature with his dagger!
