I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 102: The Beautiful Day For Us
The holy wedding finally took place on the very day that Sean finally recovered, though not completely. He had almost remembered everything that happened in his life, including the woman who was always with him.
The woman he treasured so much that today was the day he would officially make her his after so many things had happened between the two of them.
He stared at the marriage officiant, waiting until he could finally say their vows. This was his first time doing this, so he felt quite nervous as he waited for his turn.
Odelia herself was also nervous even though this was her second marriage. But she was not as nervous as her future husband this time. She rubbed Sean’s arm, as if to say everything would be fine.
"Sean Osbert, are you willing to take Odelia Grace as your wife? If you are, then say your vows."
"Yes, I do. Ekhem... I, Sean Osbert, am willing to marry Odelia Grace and make her my wife. I promise that I will always love Odelia. In good times or bad, in health or sickness, in wealth or poverty. I promise to stay by her side, to protect her until death do us part," said Sean while recalling everything that happened in their lives together.
How Odelia continued to be by his side, even at his lowest when he had an accident, even a coma and memory loss. All those things Odelia did with patience, and that made Sean feel very lucky to have found her.
’No wonder her ex-husband didn’t want to let her go. She really is an angel,’ he thought with a smile.
The marriage officiant smiled and then turned to Odelia. "What about you? Are you willing to accept Sean Osbert as your husband?"
"Yes, I do. I, Odelia Grace, accept Sean Osbert as my husband. I promise that I will always love Sean. In good times or bad, in health or sickness, in wealth or poverty. I promise to stay by his side, to love him until death do us part," Odelia said smoothly and smiled at Sean.
So many things had happened to her in almost 8 years. She spent 6 years with such a good man, but she was never accepted by his family at all. It made her agonize every time she met them.
However, in the past two years she finally found a place where she belonged. Someone who realized her dream of becoming a mother, loved her and had a family that would accept her.
Put an end to all the suffering she had been through.
"Alright, time to exchange rings. Where are your rings?"
Sean turned to Megan who was standing at the end of the aisle holding down a little girl over a year old who was holding a ring box in her hands.
"You see mommy and daddy? Let’s give this box to them," Megan said to her little niece.
Carmelia looked confused, wearing a pretty pink dress and her brown hair tied up, she walked up to her parents.
"Mom... Dada!" she called out.
All the guests were amazed to see the cute toodler running down the aisle. Sean and Odelia chuckled and they both bowed slightly.
"Give it to Daddy," Sean said as he held out his hand.
With her tiny hands, Carmelia gave the ring box to her father.
"Good girl," Odelia said and kissed their daughter on the cheek.
The little girl then ran to her grandmother who was sitting in the front seat and Sean put the ring on Odelia’s finger. They smiled as they looked at each other.
The marriage officiant finally announced that they were officially husband and wife and said that Sean could kiss his bride.
He pulled Odelia’s waist closer to him, making her gasp in surprise but she chuckled instead.
"You’re so excited, Sean," she said.
"Yes, because in the end you became my wife, Odelia. You belong to me completely and I will not waste this opportunity. I will protect you from anything that would hurt you or our little family," he said and pulled Odelia into his kiss.
A kiss that was soft and also felt so warm. It made Odelia melt into the kiss and return it while wrapping her arms around her new husband’s neck.
Her heart was beating so fast and now she felt so happy because finally what they wanted they could get now.
"I love you, Sean. You make my life so much better," Odelia said as she looked into her husband’s gray eyes.
"I love you very much, Odelia. My angel and I will always be faithful to you," he replied as he kissed the back of her hand.
Everyone cheered and applauded the officialization of their marriage. Odelia leaned her head against Sean’s shoulder, making him hug her immediately.
"Mom... Dada!" called Carmelia who ran over to them.
She lifted their daughter’s body and kissed her on the cheek as Sean kissed Carmelia on the other side. It made the little girl giggle to feel the love from her parents.
’Finally it all came true, I was able to have my own little family. I get to experience being a mother and it’s all thanks to Sean. I know our first meeting wasn’t a good one, but now everything has a happy ending,’ Odelia thought as she hugged her little family.
Seeing how Odelia and Carmelia laughed and smiled happily, made Sean feel very happy because he himself would not have been able to feel all this without Odelia. The woman who came for him.
’I didn’t understand what good I was doing until an angel was sent for me. But I’m very happy and won’t hurt her. I’d rather die than do that.’
Both Odelia and Sean, each of them remembered a past that was so painful. But they knew that in the midst of that pain, there was someone else who had been present in their lives and had also made them happy before they met each other.
’Vin, sleep peacefully. I will be fine and I will love my current husband. However, you will be the last of my past and I will never forget you.’
’You can rest now, Jessi. I leave our son to you, I know I haven’t had the chance to meet him yet who hasn’t even been born into the world. But I’m sure he’ll be just like you. I’ll be fine, with my wife and our daughter.’
