I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 101: The Situation Is Gradually Improving
A few months later, some people were busy arranging the decorations of a huge garden for a big wedding that was to be held at the venue that morning.
They finished the remaining decorations before it was time for the wedding to begin.
"Yes, that flower is better placed there. Match it with the surrounding colors," said a dark-haired woman who was busy organizing all her employees to follow her directions.
"Yes, put it higher. Don’t let it fall on the bride and groom. Exactly!"
She looked very excited because this was her brother’s wedding to a woman who had changed their lives for the better until now. And it was something that also made her so happy that this day had finally arrived.
A lot of things happened around them but luckily they were able to get through it all together. Until the wedding finally arrived and the woman was happy to help organize the decorations with all the employees in her company who were used to doing this work.
Until a man in a blue suit came up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.
"You look very busy, Magy," the man greeted her.
"Hmn? Oh Henry. Of course I’m very busy, I have to make sure everything goes well before the wedding ceremony starts in two hours," Megan replied happily.
"That’s good then, but don’t forget to rest. You’ll need it."
"She doesn’t need it, her energy is just like a horse. It’s endless," commented another ginger-haired man who was also wearing a blue suit because that was the dresscode for groomsmen.
"What the hell is that! I’m not a horse, you’re just always annoying even on days like this, Sam!" Megan pouted at the bride’s sister’s remark.
However, Samuel’s response was just a sly grin, before he finally turned to Henry and left them.
In the dressing room, Odelia looked at herself in a wedding dress that was as beautiful as a princess. This was not her first wedding, and it made her think of her marriage to Vincent.
But considering that she would finally officially become Sean’s wife after all the struggles, she felt very happy.
She didn’t even expect this to come at all.
After they returned from Vincent’s grave, Sean invited Odelia to sit for a moment and then he pulled out a wedding ring for her.
Flashback
Sean took out a ring box and opened it in front of Odelia.
"Sean... This..."
"I’m sorry I couldn’t prepare a romantic proposal for you. Especially since I can’t kneel in front of you because of the condition of my legs. But I will make up for it with a lavish wedding party like you wanted. Therefore Odelia..."
He looked directly into her eyes.
"Will you marry me? This time it is no longer a contract marriage that begins our relationship. But a holy marriage with vows that will bind us together."
Tears flowed from Odelia’s eyes again. She smiled and nodded her head.
"Yes, I do."
Flashback End
The smile now no longer left her beautiful face, Odelia would indeed bear the name Osbert behind her name and she was officially the wife of the man she now loved.
After the big wounds she had received in the past, now all the wounds were healed by her meeting with Sean. The pain was over, replaced with a happiness that she had never had before.
"I can finally feel at peace and get what I expected before," she said happily while looking at her face in the mirror.
Knock knock
A knock on the door was heard and Odelia allowed whoever it was to enter. It appeared that Samuel entered the dressing room and approached his older sister.
"You look very pretty, sis," he complimented her.
"Thanks, you’re also very handsome in that blue suit."
"It’s not my style to wear bright colors. But there’s nothing I can do about it, so what did you ask me to come here for?" Samuel asked.
Odelia had asked him to walk her down the aisle. Considering they didn’t have a father who would.
Samuel was silent, it was clear he knew who their father was but he couldn’t tell Odelia because of his promise to their mother. He also didn’t tell Vasco about Odelia’s wedding because he was worried that his father would suddenly come and ruin the wedding.
But he felt very guilty because he was in the middle of this situation. A situation where Odelia could have walked down the aisle with their father but he said nothing to her and neither did their father.
He seemed to be torn in two in situations like this.
"Sam?" Odelia grabbed his shoulder which startled him.
"Y-yes? What’s wrong?"
"You’ve been daydreaming, what’s wrong?" she asked in confusion.
He shook his head, saying that he was just mesmerized by Odelia’s face at the moment. That made him chuckle.
"Do I need to change my suit?" Samuel asked.
"No need, just wear your current suit. So you can go straight to your position near the other groomsmen."
He nodded his head and agreed with that. Odelia smiled and hugged Samuel. She was happy that she still had a brother with her.
"You talk like mom’s gone, you idiot," Samuel said with a sigh.
"Congratulations on your wedding, sis. I hope you’ll be happy this time."
"Thank you."
After two hours, Sean stood at the altar waiting for his bride to arrive. He tried to stand on his two feet without a cane even though it was so difficult and quite painful.
However, Sean tried to look good at his wedding so that everything looked perfect.
"Are you nervous?" the marriage officiant asked.
"Yes, I’m very nervous. I hope I don’t do anything wrong," Sean replied.
"Take it easy, everything will be fine."
Then Odelia arrived with flowers in her hand. Samuel stood next to her and walked with her to the altar.
Everyone was amazed at the beauty of the bride who was wrapped in a beautiful white dress. Sean himself was mesmerized by Odelia’s beauty which made his heart beat very fast.
Until finally they arrived in front of him and Samuel gave Odelia’s hand to Sean.
"Take good care of my sister, don’t make her cry too or I’ll beat you up this time," Samuel said.
"Take it easy, I’ll take good care of her," Sean replied and led Odelia up the aisle with him.
He came close to her ear and whispered, "You look very beautiful."
"Thank you, you’re also very handsome, Sean."
The marriage officiant prepared for their wedding and looked at the couple.
"So, are you ready?"
