Odelia and Sean’s wedding went very well and everyone felt their happiness. Many of them were happy to finally see Sean and Odelia officially become husband and wife.

Although there were still women like Sophie who were unhappy with the marriage and felt that she should have been the one to marry Sean. However, she felt that the marriage was not an obstacle to her getting Sean.

"You think you’ve won by doing it? Of course not! I’ll get Sean no matter what!"

At the same time, the newlyweds stayed in a hotel for at least three days to spend time together. Their daughter Carmelia, meanwhile, remained at home with her grandmother, her uncle and aunt.

He kept watching her, remembering the day of Odelia’s wedding where Megan got the flowers which made Samuel think, is Megan going to marry Henry?

Especially when he saw Henry’s reaction to hugging her, making Samuel think that Henry must have had a plan to propose to Megan sooner or later.

Judging from how their relationship is, Samuel still believes that Megan and Henry are indeed lovers and it’s only a matter of time until he hears about their marriage.

Of course he’s not happy about it, but what can he do but accept it and act like nothing happened. It was obvious that he liked Megan but his prestige was still too high for him to express his feelings for her.

’If they do get married one day, I might come or I might not,’ he thought at the time.

Until finally Megan realized that Samuel kept watching her and she turned to him.

"What is it that you keep looking at me for? You’ll fall in love with me if you keep looking at me like that," she teased while laughing at her own words.

In her heart she hoped that it would happen but Megan knew that Samuel already had a girlfriend. Just like him, she still believed in the misunderstanding between them.

When Megan teased him like that, Samuel muttered that he had already done it. That startled her and she turned to him with an incredulous look.

"What did you just say?" she asked in surprise.

"Yes, I like you already," he replied casually.

Megan’s face turned red and her heart pounded wildly when she heard that. She didn’t think that Samuel would actually express his feelings for her and even have those feelings for her.

"Are you serious about that? Do you really like me?" asked Megan in a very nervous tone.

"Yeah, I really like to tease you because you’re really the perfect bully material for that," Samuel replied with a sly grin on his face trying to tease her again.

"What the hell! You said something stupid again and it’s so annoying!" Megan looked both angry and very disappointed that Samuel was just trying to play a prank on her.

He had actually said the main sentence very honestly, but he didn’t want her to think about this because she already had someone to be her partner.

It would sound very stupid if he got caught liking Megan who clearly had a partner. Without him knowing that she was very hopeful with his serious words.

"You’re the one who’s too stupid and easy to believe what I say. I wonder if you also easily believe what that guy named Henry might say about promising a happy life together with him," Samuel said in a tone that continued to tease him.

"At least Henry is much better than you. He doesn’t play with my feelings like you do by teasing me and saying annoying things. He always says positive things and supports every single thing I do!" she retorted.

"Oh does that mean he’s the one you’re going to marry later? I see your relationship with him is so close, and you also got those wedding flowers yesterday. Could it be that it’s you and him who’ll follow later?" the man asked again even though the question hurt his own feelings.

But at least he could know how Megan would answer this. That way he could slowly move away from her and forget about her.

For a moment she was silent thinking about the answer she would give. Her relationship with Henry was indeed very close and could even be said to look more like a couple even though they had not established any relationship.

However, her little heart continued to refuse to be with that man and chose Samuel instead. It was just obvious that they couldn’t be together.

From the way Samuel was acting towards her, Megan felt that she would never have a chance with him. The mafia man seemed to be more into teasing her than liking a woman like her.

Moreover, it could be said that their age gap was quite far because Samuel was 25 years old while she was 32 years old. This is similar to Odelia and Sean, but it is more normal to see a man who is much older than his woman.

"I’d better find a partner before it’s too late and if Henry proposes to me in the near future, I’ll probably accept," Megan replied as she thought it might be time to stop thinking about Samuel and start a new life if Henry wanted to be with her.

She went back to eating her cereal even though she was no longer in the mood to finish it but she didn’t know what to do.

Odelia and Sean spent their time in the hotel room alone before they had to return home tomorrow. Even though they had been living together for almost two years, there was rarely a moment when they could have time just the two of them.

That’s why they made good use of it and did what they wanted. It was just Odelia and Sean with no one to disturb them.

"How about tomorrow we go around to look for a nice house for us to live in? Didn’t I promise you to buy a house that we will renovate and live in together with Carmelia and her siblings later," Sean asked.

"I think that’s a good idea to do. And I can’t wait to see Carmelia running around in the backyard. She’ll be so happy," replied Odelia, who agreed.

Sean also added that he would buy some toys to put in the backyard for Carmelia. Such as swings, toy houses and others.

"That way she can play with her other siblings later. You also want to plant flowers in the backyard, right? Maybe Carmelia will like that too."

Odelia said that Sean didn’t need to be in a hurry with all that. Because she knew that he was currently preoccupied with Yozara’s company, which was also held by him after he bought it from the Percy family.

He had deliberately bought the company, even though Yozara’s reputation had been damaged by Vincent’s case and the news of his death. But considering that the company was his grandfather’s company, and Alice was not able to continue it, Sean chose to buy it and continue the company name as well.
