I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 106: Resentment of the Seductress
In the evening, Sophie returned home feeling very upset because she had been left by Sean at the restaurant that afternoon. Previously, Sean would have waited for her to finish eating. Remembering that they had lunch together when they were working.
The woman threw her bag on the bed and lay down while burying her face in the pillow. She had wanted to try all kinds of ways to get Sean’s attention, but it was Odelia who made her even more upset.
Until now, she still blamed the ginger-haired woman for what had happened. She still kept thinking that if she had been there that night, when she mixed the medicine into Sean’s drink, she should have been there.
It should have been Sean and her who made love that night. But instead it happened to Odelia who accidentally found Sean.
"All of this is really her fault! If she hadn’t been there that night, I would have been married to Sean by now!"
She picked up the dartboard needle beside her bed and threw it at the board with Odelia’s picture on it. The dart landed right on Odelia’s forehead as if Sophie had always thrown them to take out her frustration on Odelia.
"Why does it have to be Sean who gets into an accident anyway? Why not just have Odelia die on the spot so I can get his heart!" she said in annoyance but her words made him pause and think that it was an interesting idea.
Sophie thought that instead of struggling to seduce Sean when Odelia was his wife, why not get rid of the woman first and then she could carry out her act to get Sean’s heart and attention.
"If she dies, it will definitely make it easier for me to get Sean. I can pretend to care about their daughter and after Sean gives me his attention I’ll ask him to leave their daughter at the orphanage," she said while imagining if that really happened.
Her evil thoughts began to emerge to completely eliminate Odelia and get her hands on Sean. But it would be very difficult to do so and she didn’t want anyone else to know about it.
She could be in big trouble and possibly jailed for being caught planning the disappearance.
"But I think someone can help me with this. It’s just that I still have to prepare a lot of things and wait for the right time to do so."
The woman picked up a picture frame that was on her desk and it was a picture of Sean.
"Just wait a little longer and I’ll make you mine."

In Sean’s room, he was sitting on the sofa reading a story to Carmelia who was sitting on his lap. The little girl was looking at the pictures in the book and listening to what her father was saying.
"Then the tortoise finally won against the hare when they were running a race. He reached the finish before the hare who ran faster than him. The hare cried because he lost to the tortoise and he went home. The end," said Sean, telling the story of the race between the tortoise and the hare.
"Tortoise!" said Carmelia, pointing to the picture of a Tortoise in the fairy tale book.
"You’re right, this one is a tortoise and the other one is a hare," he replied while rubbing his daughter’s head. Praising her that she was very smart for knowing which was the tortoise and which was the hare.
Until finally Odelia entered the room and saw the two of them spending time together. Her heart melted every time she saw them so close to each other. It was like she was seeing her dreams from the past when she was expecting a scene like this.
And she did not expect that she could finally see this dream directly in front of her.
For Sean himself, he had also expected this before. When he had lost his son along with his fiancée, he had given up that a day like this would never come to him but now he was holding his little daughter in his lap and reading to her.
"It looks like you guys are having a lot of fun reading a fairy tale book. Don’t you want to invite me too?" asked Odelia as she approached them.
"Mommy!" cried Carmelia, calling her mother.
"Yes, Mommy is here," she replied as she kissed her cheek.
Sean smiled when he saw Odelia kissing Carmelia’s cheek and the girl looked so happy. He then turned to his wife and acted like he was jealous of that.
"You’re just going to kiss her? Aren’t you going to kiss me too?" he asked while pretending to be annoyed.
She chuckled and kissed her husband on the cheek. "Don’t worry, I’ll definitely give it to you too."
Odelia invited the two of them to join the others in eating the cake they had bought this afternoon. Hearing the word cake, Carmelia was very excited and she immediately got off her father’s lap to immediately eat her cake. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
On tiptoe she tried to open the door and walk out.
"Be careful dear!" she shouted.
"She looks very excited. We’d better catch up with her soon or she’ll eat all the cake," Sean said with a chuckle and then took Odelia to the lounge.
"She’s really very energetic. Sometimes I worry that she eats too many sweets, which is not good for her," Odelia says.
Sean agreed, and he started thinking of ways to keep their daughter from eating too many sweets at such a young age. They planned to make a schedule so that Carmelia only ate a small amount of sweets each day.
"Oh right, can you prepare my work clothes earlier than usual? Tomorrow I have to go to the production site and do a check before the production starts. So I have to leave early in the morning," said the man.
"Of course, I’ll prepare everything you need for tomorrow morning. Would you like me to make a sandwich for you to eat on the way if you don’t have time to have breakfast at home?"
A smile appeared on his face, as she knew very well what he needed. He nodded his head.
"Yes, please make it for me."
He felt happy because his relationship with Odelia was getting better, coupled with the presence of their daughter. Little did he realize that something bad was trying to tear them apart.
