Odelia was leaving the place when a man suddenly claimed to be her father. She quickly returned to the hotel after paying for the fruit she had bought and brought the items back, at least to hide.

She felt scared and worried if the man was following her, especially since he had carried Carmelia before. She was actually very grateful to the man, but when he told her he was her father, it scared her.

She herself didn’t remember what her father looked like, although she realized that the man had the same features as her. However, someone with ginger hair was not only the two of them but there were many.

"But he mentioned my name, is he really my father?" she asked in confusion but she didn’t understand why he could recognize her.

They had never met at all after she was taken away, but Odelia did not know if Samuel had shown him her picture when she was an adult. That’s why Vasco could tell that Odelia was his daughter.

However, Odelia never saw Vasco again until she was an adult. That’s why she felt confused when the middle-aged man called her his daughter.

"If he is indeed father, then what is he doing in Dormania? He’s even dressed like one of the mafia around here. You’re not a mobster are you?" she asked in confusion.

She tried to contact Dasha, asking her for an explanation. She wanted to know where and what her father was really like. But just as she was about to call her, she hesitated to ask.

Odelia remembered very well that since she had lived with her mother, Dasha had never once brought up her father. She never talked about Vasco at all, even Odelia grew up wondering what her father’s name was.

"If I ask my mother about this, will she tell me? What if she suddenly gets angry with me because I asked her about this?"

She became confused about how to respond to this. Odelia then turned to Carmelia who was watching TV on the bed. The woman thought it might just be a coincidence, but her little heart told her that she really wanted to see the man again and ask him many things.

If he really was her father, Odelia wanted to know what really happened until she had to be raised by her mother alone. And why hadn’t he tried to find them all this time?

She tried to forget what had just happened, and went about her usual activities by relaxing with Carmelia. Since they were in a hotel, she could only cut fruit and give it to her daughter for snacks.

In the afternoon, Sean returned from his meeting and met his family. Carmelia was very happy to see her father return and immediately asked to be held.

"Daddy, up up!"

"Oh hello my little munchkin, do you miss me hmn?" Sean picked her up and kissed her cheek which made Carmelia very happy and kissed him back.

"Have you finished traveling around here? What did you get?" he asked to Odelia.

"Oh we got some fresh fruits and something strange happened earlier," Odelia replied.

"What happened?" he asked as he took off his tie and black coat with Odelia’s help.

With a feeling of fear Odelia told him what happened this morning where she had lost Carmelia and the girl was found with a man who claimed to be her father.

"I don’t know if he really is my father or not, but at that time I left immediately because I was afraid of dealing with a mobster," Odelia said and then apologized because she had lost Carmelia this morning.

Sean sighed and shook his head when he heard the news. But he was happy that their daughter was fine, and that nothing had happened to her.

However he felt that Odelia’s decision to leave was the right one, rather than her having to deal with a mobster. It was just that Odelia shouldn’t have run away from the man because he had saved their daughter too.

"At least you thanked him, maybe next time you can hear a little reason why he called you that," Sean said because he felt it was a strange coincidence.

If indeed the man was wrong with the person he thought was his daughter, then why was he able to call Odelia by her exact name. And that made her even more curious.

But they tried not to think about it too much, and prepared to go to dinner. They went to the hotel restaurant as before, and enjoyed dinner there.

"The dinner was very good. No wonder we got a VIP dinner," Odelia said as she fed their daughter some chicken pieces.

"Yes, you’re right, considering that we are the guests they invited to this hotel so we are included in the VIP guests."

Carmelia ate very well, she even wanted to eat herself, but Odelia forbade her because she was worried that her daughter’s clothes would get dirty. Whereas when she was at home she was allowed to eat by herself.

They enjoyed dinner together, without realizing that Vasco’s men were watching from a distance among the hotel guests.

They reported Odelia’s every move outside her hotel room.

This included taking pictures of her husband. Vasco was very curious as to what his daughter’s husband was like, as he had heard from Samuel that the man was a CEO of a technology company.

Just like her previous ex-husband.

"I don’t think he’s a bad person, because he’s willing to take responsibility for what he’s done despite the accident. And in the end Odelia can be happier with him," Vasco muttered thinking that what happened to him also happened to Sean.

It’s just that it was different with Sean who was definitely not seduced by Odelia. He was sure that his daughter was not a seductive woman who would do such a thing.

At first Samuel didn’t know if Odelia was in Dormania. But after he accidentally heard that a subordinate had reported Odelia’s movements, he now understood why his father knew about his sister.

"If Odelia met father yesterday, did she recognize him?" he thought at the time.

For now Samuel was at a loss as to what to do, whether he should tell Odelia or not. If he didn’t tell her directly, he was sure she would ask their mother and their mother could definitely say that he was also involved in this.

"Don’t worry, she’ll be upset but if you comfort her and talk to her nicely, she’ll be fine." Megan tried to reassure her boyfriend that Odelia would understand.

Before Samuel hung up, he asked Megan to stay alert as she was home alone.

"Don’t forget to lock the door and eat your dinner. I don’t want to hear that you won’t eat your dinner. Call me whenever you need me. Do you understand?"

"Alright captain!" she replied before finally hanging up the call.

He sighed as he smoked his cigarette, trying to compose every word he would say to Odelia tomorrow. But first he had to send a message so that they could meet somewhere tomorrow.

[SAMUEL]

Odelia, I heard you were in Dormania. Can we meet?

Are you here too? How can we meet?

[ODELIA]

I’m at the Suncania hotel, maybe we can meet around the hotel.

Samuel knew the hotel was quite strategic with several places around it. He made an appointment to meet Odelia at one of the cafes there. He didn’t know if he had any free time in the morning to meet his sister, but he had to get this done soon.
