Chapter 124: Leave And Never Come Back!

"Amber, don’t you dare touch my daughter or I’ll make sure your life will never be at peace!" snapped Vasco as Amber continued to point at Odelia that it was all her fault.

"You touch her with one finger, I will make your life miserable. Do you understand?" he continued to ask the woman.

Of course that scared Amber because she didn’t want to make Vasco do that. She knew very well that Lorenzo’s family never messed with their words, let alone Vasco’s.

"But all this is because of her! Everything was fine before those two came back here. Have you forgotten who has been with you all these decades? It’s me and Joice!" Amber said trying to defend herself saying that Samuel and Odelia have never been there for him.

After Dasha left with their two children, it was her and Joice who were there until Samuel and Odelia came back. Amber felt that Vasco should have chosen them over his family who were never there for him.

"We were always there for you, by your side when they were never there for you! And now they’re suddenly back and you don’t remember what Joice and I did for you!"

Hearing how Amber kept saying that it was she and her daughter who were the most meritorious. Samuel wanted to say something about it, but it was Odelia who spoke first.

"You think you’re the most meritorious in this family? By always being by my father’s side, you’re saying that you’re always there for him?" asked Odelia as she looked pointedly at Amber.

"Have you forgotten that it was your presence that was the downfall of our family? You’re the one who made my mother leave my father with me and Sam! If you had never been there, my mother wouldn’t have taken us away and we would have always been together!" she continued in a quite sharp tone, trying to make the woman realize that it was her presence that made their family fall apart.

This was enough to put Amber and Joice on the spot because of Odelia’s anger. What she said was true, if only Amber hadn’t tempted her father to sleep with her in the first place, of course their family wouldn’t be like this.

"You dare say something like that? You bitch!" Amber could no longer contain her anger as she was completely cornered.

When she was really going to try to attack Odelia, Samuel immediately stood in front of his older sister and protected the woman. His tall stature was like a tower between the two of them as he stared intently at the middle-aged woman.

"Didn’t my father say not to touch her? Now I’m the one warning you. If you dare to touch her, I’ll make sure you leave with one hand or none!" he threatened her.

"Stop it Sam! Why are you treating my mom like that? I know you didn’t like us for a long time. But do you need to say things like that?" asked Joice who was still trying to plead with her pleading act.

His brown eyes turned to the woman, he still felt so upset with his half-sister for what she had said to Megan a few months ago.

"You better shut up because you’re not that different from your mother! You said bad things to Megan the last time she came over, and made her cry."

Odelia was very surprised to find out, she didn’t even know that Megan had met Joice. So Megan also knew all this and she didn’t?

But for now she put aside the new resentment that had arisen in her heart, because it was not important for now. When she heard that Joice hurt Megan’s feelings, that upset her too.

It was that annoyance that made Samuel almost slap Joice again, but Odelia held his hand back because no matter how angry Samuel was he shouldn’t hurt women. Not only to Joice but all the women around him.

"I know this sounds stupid to you, but never hurt a woman. You can say anything but don’t physically abuse them. I don’t want you to," Odelia said, stopping her younger brother.

Joice, who had started to get scared because she thought Samuel would slap her again like that time, immediately turned into a satisfied smile because Samuel couldn’t hurt her.

’Turns out he’s an obedient kid, I may not like his sister but it’s not bad that she can stop him from slapping me again,’ Joice thought without knowing that she was jumping to conclusions.

PLAK!

Her eyes widened, as did Amber who was shocked to see her daughter being slapped by Odelia. Earlier she had given Carmelia to Samuel and asked Samuel to blindfold her daughter so that she wouldn’t see her mother slapping someone else.

"You may have survived Sam’s slap, but not me. I did forbid him from hurting women, but that doesn’t mean you’ll get away with it. You’ve hurt Megan’s feelings, and I won’t stand for that either!" said Odelia.

Megan had always protected her from people who tried to hurt her feelings. She had even slapped Alice when the woman hurt her.

And when Odelia found out from Samuel that Joice had said something bad that made Megan sad. She couldn’t keep quiet.

"How dare you slap my daughter! Who do you think you are? You have the right to do so! You’re nothing but an ignorant woman who comes when you need something from Vasco!"

Amber stared intently at Odelia while pointing at the front of her face as well, as if she had no shame that she was nobody in the family.

All sorts of things had been said about their family, especially about Dasha. This sparked anger from Odelia who was not happy with her remarks.

Ever since she was a little girl, she had always felt that her mother was her hero who was always there for her and raised her and her brother alone. She never begged or sold herself, but instead opened a noodle stall to support her and Samuel.

Even now, the shop is still open and although her mother has the right to her father’s property, Dasha has never thought of going back and asking for all of it so she can live in peace. She didn’t even ask for money to raise their children.

Then came Amber saying bad things about her mother, which Odelia couldn’t tolerate hearing at the time.

Without thinking, she also slapped the woman even though she didn’t like being violent. But what she had done was unacceptable.

"You..." The woman stared at Odelia with a look full of resentment, pain and disbelief at being slapped so casually.

At that moment Odelia gave her a stern and sharp look, looked at Joice and her mother and said what she should have said a long time ago.

"I’m not a nobody like you said. But I am the eldest daughter of the Lorenzo family, Odelia Lorenzo! And as my father said, from now on you must leave our mansion!"
