Because of Odelia’s growing pregnancy, Sean often spent time at home to keep his wife company and help her with the housework even though he could have hired someone to do it.

However, he always remembered that Odelia had said that she was uncomfortable with someone else doing the housework. So Sean decided to do it himself.

He cleaned the house and hung the clothes out to dry, while Megan helped make dinner if she could get home early.

"Dust the chicken with flour and then fry it, placing it gently in the oil. Don’t be afraid you’ll burn yourself," Odelia instructed Sean who was learning to cook from her.

"Like this? Oh... It’s not as difficult as I thought. I just need to turn it over when it turns golden, right? Then do it again on the other two pieces of chicken," he asked.

Odelia nodded, at that, Sean asked her to just sit down and let him do the cooking. She nodded and sat in her chair while watching Sean cook.

’He’s really serious... He takes really good care of me and this baby. He takes time off work so he can do the housework for me. He cleans the house, dries the clothes, now he’s cooking dinner,’ she thought with a smiling face as she rubbed her stomach.

Odelia felt so lucky to have met Sean who was so kind and serious with every word he said to help Odelia with the housework and looking after her.

At first she still had doubts about the man because they didn’t know each other well. Especially after she separated from the man she loved so much, Vincent. However, Sean was able to prove that he could be a good husband in a few months for her.

Now she felt like she was letting go of a pearl for an expensive diamond that was both beautiful and extraordinary.

"Sean," she called.

"Yeah, what’s up? You feel little one kicking you again? Not so hard, little one. Don’t make mommy hurt," he said as he rubbed her belly.

"No, that’s not it. I have something to tell you. Something very important," Odelia said as she looked into Sean’s eyes.

Hearing that, Sean nodded in understanding. He would finish his cooking first and then they could talk. She agreed, and went back to watching him again.

Finished cooking, Sean took off his apron and sat in his chair while waiting for what Odelia wanted to tell him.

"So what’s the important thing you want to talk about?" he asked.

"I want to talk about our marriage contract. So far we’re still married by contract, right? And that contract will end after the little one is born..."

"Yes, that’s right. The decision is all yours. If you really want to end it, I’ll accept it. But if you want to continue it into a real marriage... I..."

She took his hand and held it, squeezing it gently and smiling. "I do, Sean. I’ve thought about my decision and I think I’m ready for it," she replied.

His eyes widened, unable to believe what he had just heard. "What? Y-you’re willing?"

Odelia nodded, she was willing to become Sean’s real wife and have the title Mrs. Osbert officially as his legal wife in the sacred vows of marriage.

"I’m willing to be your real wife. Let me accompany your days as your legal wife. Always be there for you, under any circumstances. Do you allow me?"

"Without you asking, I will allow you, Odelia." Sean kissed the back of her hand with emotion and pleasure.

He then pulled Odelia’s neck back and kissed her deeply and passionately. A kiss filled with desire, even to the point where Sean used his tongue to enter her mouth. Odelia tried to match his tongue play until they finally pulled away from each other.

Their saliva was thinly connected, until it finally broke off. Sean rubbed her lower lip gently and smiled.

"I’m glad you finally gave your decision. But are you sure that you didn’t do it in a hurry? Deciding to marry me must have been a tough decision for you," Sean asked.

"At first it was, I was worried that you weren’t as good a man as you seemed, I worried about many things, even to the point where I worried that I couldn’t love you. But... You managed to prove to me not to worry about this and made me believe that I was in love with the man who is the father of the baby in my belly right now," she explained while gently squeezing his hand.

His eyes closed for a moment, feeling the peace that Odelia gave him with every word she said. Sean had not felt this way since the death of his fiancée and he began to tell Odelia about it.

But Odelia replied that she already knew from Megan, and she could understand Sean’s feelings.

"You should have said that from the start. You already know my past and let me know yours too. But everything is in the past, now we better focus on our future."

He gently caressed her cheek, then pressed their foreheads against each other while chuckling happily.

"ODELIA IS WILLING TO MARRY YOU?!" asked Megan in surprise as soon as she heard it.

"Yes, I said it. You don’t have to be that surprised," said Odelia chuckling at Megan’s reaction when they told her.

"Of course I’m surprised! It turns out that you’re interested in my annoying and grumpy older brother!"

"What did you say?" asked Sean as he glanced sharply at Megan.

She coded him as if to say, ’You see that?’

Again she was made to laugh at the sight. Odelia had no problem with Sean having that attitude, as long as he wasn’t like that to her and their future children.

"Of course not, I won’t scold them unless they do something wrong."

"But... That means you’re planning a wedding? If I may make a suggestion, your wedding should take place after Odelia has given birth," Megan told them both.

According to her, getting married requires a lot of preparation. Moreover, a wedding party would be tiring for Odelia who was pregnant. She was worried that something would happen to her.

Moreover, marriage cannot be done as quickly as one to two months of preparation. Those two months were Odelia’s final gestation period at eight and nine months.

They finally agreed to postpone the party until Odelia gave birth.

Megan was very excited to design the wedding party for her brother and sister-in-law. Odelia was so happy when she heard that, and couldn’t wait until the day came.
