Members of the social services came at Vincent’s request to take Odelia back to his home. It is common practice to bring back runaway family members if they are legally proven not to have been abused or mistreated before.

Odelia stepped back, she did not want to be taken by them back to Vincent’s house.

"No, I don’t want to go back! I was verbally abused! They keep saying bad things that affect my mind!" she replied.

"Then come with us for an examination!" The two men insisted that Odelia come with them.

Megan, who was there at the time, immediately pushed them away from Odelia.

"Don’t you dare step inside! This is the Osbert family property and you’d better leave before I call the police! I don’t care where you came from, but you should know that you’ve made a mistake!" she snapped, shooing them out of her house.

But the two men didn’t care and suddenly shocked Megan’s body with a stun gun.

Odelia’s hands were suddenly grabbed with great force and they dragged her along with them. "Let go of me! Let me go!"

"Odelia!" With her body limp, Megan dragged her body out of the house to save Odelia.

However, they put her in the car and took her away. Megan squinted her eyes to remember the license plate of their car.

"Carmelia... They took your mother. Sshh it’s okay, auntie will ask your father to bring her back..." She lifted Carmelia onto her lap and called Sean.

Megan was sure that those people couldn’t have been from the government, since they had tased her like that.

"Pick up the phone quickly, Sean..."

After a few minutes, Sean finally picked up the phone from Megan after he tried to reach her five times.

"What’s up, Megan? I’m in the middle of an important meeting," Sean asked.

"Odelia... Two men took her away! They claim to be from a government where they’re going to take Odelia back to the Percy family home!"

"What?! Odelia was taken away!?" Sean sounded very surprised as he hadn’t expected this to happen.

"I’m sure they’re not from the government, they electrocuted me and now it’s just me and Carmelia! Hurry up and find her!"

She told him about the license plate of the car carrying Odelia, she was sure Sean could trace the whereabouts of the plate by asking his men to do so.

"Alright, I’ll look for her right away!"

The phone hung up and Megan hugged her niece tightly, trying to calm her down.

"Sshh... Auntie’s here... Your dad will be looking for your mom soon. Don’t be sad..."

Meanwhile, Odelia was taken in a black car with her hands tied. Even her eyes were closed. This was a kidnapping and she didn’t know whether Vincent had ordered them or not.

But she couldn’t stay like this. She had to do something to get away from them.

’Calm down... Think clearly, I’m sure there’s a way to get out of here. I just need to think better’ she thought at the time.

She didn’t know how long she had been taken away by them, but she could hear the car stop moving and the car door open.

A cold wind entered the car and hit her skin, even though it was already summer.

"Get out quickly!" Odelia was again dragged out of the car and her feet, which were not wearing any footwear, could feel the grass which was quite moist and cold.

’The surface is moist... It’s like a grass in a high area. Cold air also usually blows at high altitudes. Have I been taken to a mountain? Hills?’ Odelia thought.

She kept walking because she was being pushed from behind, even though she couldn’t see, she used her other senses to be able to tell the terrain around her. Odelia was sure she was far enough away from the city.

’The highlands are around West or East Zondalia. That means I’m only three hours away from the North, it’s not that far from there, I should be able to find my way back if I can escape these bonds.’

The woman continued to analyze her surroundings, until she finally stepped onto the wooden floor. A fairly large cabin was in front of her.

They pushed Odelia inside until finally the woman fell inside.

"Stay here and don’t you dare do anything stupid!" they ordered in a threatening tone.

The door was locked from the outside, Odelia tried to stand up and felt around using the soles of her feet. She stepped up little by little, feeling the shiny wooden floor.

Several times her feet bumped into the surrounding items, but Odelia didn’t care as long as she could get herself out of there.

’Isn’t there something I can use to remove the blindfold? Uhh... How’s this?’

"Trying to break free, my dear?" asked a man who was completely familiar to Odelia.

"Vincent?! Get me out of here! What did you bring me here for! I told you once that I never want to see you again!"

"Don’t talk like that, you know it hurts my feelings, right?" He removed Odelia’s blindfold and now she could see her ex-husband more clearly.

The man’s handsome face, the face that had always been adorned with a gentle smile was now a sly smile.

"I missed you so much, my Odelia. It feels like I’m dying because I can’t have you with me anymore," he said while caressing Odelia’s cheek.

His great love and the loss he had felt made him obsessive about his wife.

Feeling the hand on her face, Odelia immediately stepped back, away from Vincent’s touch. This made Vincent annoyed.

"Stop this stupid game, Vin! I no longer love you, I love Sean and my daughter! I don’t want to be around you or have anything to do with you and your family!"

His hands clenched into fists very firmly and he gritted his teeth, Odelia flinched at the man’s reaction but she tried to steel herself so as not to back away from the problem or take refuge from others.

"Vincent Percy!" she called out loudly.

"The day I left your house, I no longer think of you as my husband or anyone else! You are my ex-husband and I will not change my mind at all!"
