I Picked the Useless Class… Turns Out It's the Most Broken in the Game-Chapter 60: A Controversy?
Leon opened his eyes as he took the helmet off his head. His eyes drifted towards the table, which was kept next to his bed.
A tray that had food inside it was kept on it. There was no sign of anyone inside his room.
A small sigh left through his mouth. "After spending that much time inside the game... these lifeless surroundings are so... unsettling." He muttered.
"I need to study about Eternal Realms."
He pushed himself to sit on the bed, but he didn’t sense any movement in his legs.
"Oh... how can I forget about this?" He said, fists clenched.
"In real life, I’m just a cripple... who can’t even get up from the bed by himself."
He chuckled, putting his hand on his face.
He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. ’Let’s forget it all, and check what’s happening in Eternal Realms.’
He was about to pick up the mobile, which was kept beside the pillow.
But before he could move his hand, a loud growl came through his stomach.
"Ahmm... I should eat first." He said, looking towards the food tray.
He leaned toward it and grabbed the tray. He put it on his lap and then grabbed the mobile.
He opened MeTube and searched Eternal Realms to know what’s happening in the world about the game.
The moment the results appeared, his eyes fell on a video which had a title ’The Arrival of a Necromancer.’
His hand froze as he stopped chewing the food.
"Wh-What!?" He said out loud.
He clicked on the video, the one who had made this post was Oblivion guild.
A small sigh escaped through his mouth as he rubbed his temple. "Oh god!! These guys are giving me a headache..."
He played the video:
A fat man with a buzz cut and patchy facial hair stood in front of a small board, his appearance rough and unpleasant.
"Welcome, viewers, all of you might already know me, but I’ll tell you once again." He said, a proud expression appeared on his face.
"I’m Orrix of Oblivion guild."
"I want to inform the world about an unusual player who seems to have awakened a class above the hidden tier."
He turned around and grabbed a marker, pointing it toward a crude drawing of a man sketched on the board.
Leon didn’t react to it yet; he kept eating his food.
"This person most probably is an NPC. But I fought him during my Main Quest... and he was something else." He said, stuttering slightly.
Leon choked on his food as he heard those words, eyes widened slightly.
’What the fuck? Do Oblivion bastards want to earn money by using me?’
He kept watching the video, listening carefully.
"He... seemed to work for someone, someone who wasn’t even able to withstand a few hits from me."
"You all might wonder what I’m talking about, right? But I’m telling that the NPC wasn’t alive, it was a summon... something which necromancers can do." He said, looking back into the camera.
"That random person, he was working with the guild Aetherfall, and it seems like he has awakened a class greater than hidden-tier."
The video ended after that sentence.
Leon put the tray on the other side of the bed and leaned back into the bed.
"Should I reveal myself to the world already?"
A small sigh escaped through his mouth as he closed his eyes.
A sudden thought curled up inside his head.
’Wait!!’
"What if I use persona?"
He opened MeTube once again as he searched ’Persona in Eternal Realms.’
A bunch of videos popped up regarding this, and the one on top caught his eye.
It was a video regarding how to edit your avatar to use Persona.
He watched the video, and then came to the home page once again.
’Dark Mages, the worst one of all time.’ A video with this title came up.
"What the hell?" Leon said, expressions darkened slightly.
He clicked on the video:
A young girl with flowing red hair and crimson-colored pupils wore a mage’s robe, a staff clinging to her back.
She walked towards the next room, and her surroundings seemed as if she were in a mage tower.
’This seems like a mage tower... and a well off on top of that, not like mine.’
The girl walked toward another woman who was sitting on a chair behind a table cluttered with documents.
The woman wore spectacles, and a hat rested atop her head, giving her the dignified air of a senior mage.
"Master, what do you think about dark mages?" She asked.
The woman lifted her gaze. "Nyx, didn’t I tell you not to talk to me about dark mages?" she said.
"Please, master, I want to know from you," Nyx said.
A small sigh left her mouth as she kept her quill on the table. "Dark Mage tower, the worst one among all."
"Only good mage in there is their tower master, Valexeria."
[Info: name changed from Velexeria -> Valexeria.]
"I didn’t think that master would praise someone," Nyx said, leaning forward.
She took her spectacles off and rubbed her eyes slightly. "That child... she used to be a prodigy, but ruined herself for her family." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
"Family? What did she do?"
"All mages in her family worked as dark mages, so did she."
"I asked her to join our Fire Tower, the best in the world, but she denied."
"Dark Mage tower used to be the worst, and still is... there’s no one who can change its destiny." She said.
"Now go and learn the formulas which I gave you."
"Yes, master... thank you for your time," Nyx said as she walked out of the room.
"As you all heard, dark mages are the worst... come to our tower, and neglect the dark mages." She said, and the video ended.
