I was Kidnapped for Revenge by a Ruthless Alpha-Chapter 196: His New Plan
~Narrator~
Ezelreth couldn’t believe it. They really sealed the weygates.
"But how?" He asked himself. How could they do this? How is this possible.
Violet smiled looking at him.
"Like I said. She’s different. You won’t beat her. She’ll destroy you, once and for all." Violet was beaming internally with pride.
"Shut your whore mouth, bitch." He growled angrily at her.
Ezelreth paced back and forth in his room.
He needed to find a way to get out of the weylines and back into the world. His plan wouldn’t work if he couldn’t access the weygates.
He needed power. He needed a plan.
There would be no way out of here without the gates.
He couldn’t break the seal from inside the gates either.
He had to find an open gate. Theres no way they could see all the gates.
No one in this world had that kind of power. Not even him!
Then Ezelreth had an idea.
He would check their information on the different pack locations and find a gate not associated with a pack. He could travel through that gate and make his way to sealed gate and break the spell.
The power required would be tremendous. He needed the help of witches. Tricky bastards, the last thing he wanted to work with were those descended from fae and who first worshipped his wife.
Ha. He laughed. They never divorced; Lilith was still his wife. He frowned when he realized his wife was banging something almost as old as time itself.
But with the power of a coven, he could break the spell and if he drained their life and turned them into vampires he could replenish what power he used. He might have to kill a few "by accident" of course. But immortality was a hard option to pass up.
Ezelreth would rally his armies break open the gates and start his war.
Ezelreth left his room and went to the great hall and summoned Theoron.
"Master?" Theoron bowed his head in greeting.
"I have a plan. Summon the generals, I need to pull the weyline map and correspond it with the packs we planned to attack. Avoiding those gates, we have a chance of finding one that isn’t sealed. They don’t have the power to close all the gates. Only the gods do, and unless this time the other two gods really got involved, they can only close a few." Ezelreth explained.
"I’ll see to it." Theoron got into his pack channel and summoned the generals to the meeting room.
Once they had all arrived and taken their seats, Ezelreth filled them in on his new plan.
"After I break the seals with the witches, we’ll hit them hard. They won’t be expecting it, they won’t be prepared. I will destroy entire towns to see this through and punish them for hindering my fucking plans." Ezelreth growled, his voice echoed under Violet’s.
"The war begins the minute those gates are unsealed."
The room erupted into cheers. Hearing the day was finally coming that they could take revenge on the packs that expelled them, their family and their friends.
Theoron grinned, his revenge on the Romanoff line would finally come. His chance to tear down the alpha king’s kingdom was knocking at the door.
He heard the vampire princess, Odette, was a fierce beauty. He could take her as a slave, a trophy to commemorate his victory. Force Ambrose to watch him fuck his wife. He started getting excited thinking about her. About his revenge. About taking over the shifters. Ezelreth had promised him he would have control over the fate of the shifters.
They would join him or die. Becoming food for Ezelreth. He chuckled inwardly at the idea.
Theoron summoned his gamma to bring him the maps.
Rolling them out on the table they marked the common locations showing the lines and convergence points of the packs.
"Do we have any intel on coven?" Ezelreth asked.
"My wife, she’s half witch, I can ask her." One of the generals offered.
"Do so." Ezelreth nodded to the man.
"How soon can the troops be rallied?" Ezelreth asked.
"One month is all I need for my men." Another general spoke up. The others nodded in agreement.
"In one month, we will start our war on the world."
Picking the closet gates to them without a pack, Ezelreth took a few shifters and two of his Turned with him to find an unsealed gate. Because the shifters had wolf forms that could run longer than Violet could, he would ride on their backs. He was grateful for Violet’s small, framed figure.
Later that day, they would take off, Ezelreth wasted no time. This derailment pissed him off, it was a clever move, one he hadn’t expected. The path to the gates were dark, lit up only by the help of Ezelreth’s magic. It would take a day and a half to get there on foot. It was a long way away. They had to pick a gate close to a major city. Some place they wouldn’t be noticed, a place with no shifter packs or vampire clans nearby. There surprising weren’t many of those and because he didn’t know how many were sealed and which gates were sealed, he picked the most probable option.
The shifters found Violet to be exceptionally beautiful and also terrifying. They remembered the recent altercation in the square and how that ended. They thought it was better to look and not even think about touching.
Upon feeling those thoughts, a smile tugged at Violet’s lips.
’That’s right.’ She thought to herself.
The shifters ran for hours before stopping and taking a break. Their muscles ached, and their bodies began protesting each move. They shifted back into their human form and laid naked on the cold, smooth ground. It was refreshing, their bodies felt hot from the run. Trading Violet between shifters during the run helped ease the load.
Ezelreth was feeling impatient. As the shifters rested, he paced. He wasn’t the least bit exhausted, having been carried the whole way, he wanted to keep going. Seeing them look so exhausted as they tried to relax a little annoyed him.
After a few hours of rest, they continued. When they arrived at the first gate two days later, they found it unsealed.
Ezelreth breathed a sigh of relief when he opened the gate and stepped through it. The others followed after him.
For one of the shifters, it was his first time in years seeing the sky. It was dawn when they had exited the gate. The sun was barely peeking over the hills. The sky was a beautiful, soft pink and deep shade of dark blue. With a gentle lavender blurring the lines between the two strong colors.
The general’s wife was able to provide some names and locations for him. Ezelreth pulled out the information on the covens who may be interested in immortality.
First stop: Lake Arvaada. The Ares Coven.
