I Was Reborn as the Female Antagonist's Servant-Chapter 31 – Training Begins
Finally, the person they were waiting for had arrived.
He ascended the arena stairs without a word. His footsteps echoed with each step. A faint smile still lingered on his face. Once he reached the top, he turned around. His gaze swept across the arena, toward the eleven people who were already staring back at him.
He raised his hand forward. "ALRIGHT, ALL MY LITTLE BROTHERS! ARE YOU READY FOR TRAINING TODAY!"
They all shouted in unison, "READY, BIG BROTHER FUKURO!"
He smiled faintly upon hearing that. "GOOD!"
After he uttered those words, he looked around. His gaze swept over each of the eleven faces before him, seemingly frowning. He raised one eyebrow slightly higher, observing the expressions of his Little Brothers who were looking at him.
"...IS SOMETHING THE MATTER, ALL MY LITTLE BROTHERS?"
They glanced at the person in front of them, slightly bowing their heads for a moment, before one of them raised their hand.
"Um... Big Brother Fukuro. Where have you been all this time? It’s not like you to be late to the arena..."
Big Brother was slightly taken aback by his younger brother’s statement. He immediately shifted his gaze to the side, stroking the back of his neck.
"Ah... About that, well. Earlier, Princess Reina summoned me, so I was a little late. Hehe..."
My eyebrows furrowed as I looked at him. My Lady? Why did My Lady summon Big Brother?
He smiled strangely for a moment, returning his gaze afterward. The stroking at the back of his neck stopped, moving down. "Ahaha... Rather than thinking about that, let’s just continue with the training."
He scanned the eleven of us, his gaze moving quickly before stopping when he saw someone—me. He cleared his throat, a faint smile welcoming me afterward.
He took a deep breath, his chest expanding.
"ALRIGHT, ALL MY LITTLE BROTHERS! SINCE WE HAVE A NEW LITTLE BROTHER, LET’S SEE HIS SELF-INTRODUCTION!"
Everyone glanced at me. Faint whispers from them could be heard. Some of them seemed to be still discussing what happened earlier, while others were talking about when I fought with them.
Why are they still looking at me like that?
"...NEW LITTLE BROTHER, PLEASE STEP FORWARD!" he continued.
I stared at him above, slightly narrowing my eyes. My steps moved afterward, while looking around me. Their gazes were still directed at me, some of them with narrowed eyes as if hating me. I shifted my gaze forward, trying not to pay attention to them. My heart was pounding fast, audible to my ears. My steps unknowingly touched the stairs. One by one, I passed the steps smoothly. And now I was at the top, turning around.
I bowed, performing a keirei. "HELLO EVERYONE!" I stopped bowing. "MY NAME IS TOUJI! I AM A NEW LITTLE BROTHER HERE."
The atmosphere immediately fell silent. They were all staring up at me.
Hah... I expected it to be like this.
They didn’t say a word—until applause rose from among them. It began slowly, and all eyes immediately turned toward him. Risshun was clapping his hands for me.
"NICE, NEW LITTLE BROTHER!"
He continued to do so. The applause began to sound louder and louder. One person, two people followed. Until everyone joined in. Big Brother Fukuro only stared at me beside him, smiling faintly. I heard their applause. They seemed to warmly welcome me.
This is the first time I’ve felt this...
Usually, when I was at the company before, I never received something like this. They did applaud, but not to warmly welcome me. They applauded briefly, then changed in an instant afterward.
My gaze lowered, staring at the concrete floor below.
Usually, they immediately take advantage afterward.
I looked forward again, they were still clapping. I smiled slightly, my eyes sparkling for a moment. I clenched my hands tightly, before relaxing them again.
I have to express my gratitude.
I immediately bowed deeper, performing Saikeirei.

"THANK YOU, EVERYONE!"
Well, this should be different, right?
Their applause echoed in the spacious room, stopping after a while. Big Brother next to me stepped forward two steps, a long smile visible on his face.
"ALRIGHT, ALL MY LITTLE BROTHERS! AFTER WE WELCOME OUR NEW YOUNGER BROTHER, NEXT WE WILL MOVE ON TO THE MORNING TRAINING SESSION!"
He pushed my back, telling me to go down.
I felt his instruction, starting to descend from the arena. The steps were passed again, echoing briefly in the spacious room. When I reached the bottom, I walked back into the group—ten people who had now become eleven with my addition. Among the group of people, I was looking for one person—Risshun. My eyes looked around, and I found Risshun again with his twin. I approached, standing directly to his left. As soon as I arrived, he patted my shoulder hard—greeting me back with a smile. His younger brother, only glanced for a moment from the left side of his older brother. From his face, he still seemed afraid of me.
My gaze stared forward, seeing Big Brother Fukuro talking.
"ALL MY LITTLE BROTHERS! IMMEDIATELY GET TO YOUR POSITIONS!"
They all scattered, heading to the left and right. My eyebrows furrowed seeing that. Risshun patted my shoulder while smiling. The twins followed the group of people moving. And there was only me in the middle of the field, left alone by the people.
What is this?
My question hung in the air. The sound of armor in front was heard loudly, heading down from the stairs. I turned my head. He had descended the five steps, walking towards me in front. I swallowed my saliva. The person in front of me—Big Brother Fukuro was getting closer, and was already in front of me now. I looked up, seeing him returning my gaze. He smiled widely. His hand suddenly went up, descending quickly to my right shoulder hard.
"My little brother Touji. Come with me..." he said with a smile.
My eyebrow rose. "...Where to—?"
"You want to get training from me, right?"
I nodded, agreeing.
"If that’s the case, come with me," he replied, then changed the position of his hand from my shoulder to my back, pushing me.
I only followed the push of his hand. In the middle of that, I looked at the ten people including the twins hitting rolls of straw shaped like humans. They struck the human-shaped straw rolls over and over with their weapons. They seemed focused on the single target in front of them. Sweat poured down their faces, soaking their training clothes. Their breaths came in short bursts with each attack.
My gaze shifted forward. The person beside me was leading me to the arena. He climbed the stairs, along with my steps. We passed several concrete steps. Now we were at the top.
I shifted my gaze to the side, slightly looking up. Big Brother Fukuro was only smiling, while rummaging through his back.
My eyes narrowed. What does he want to do to me here?
His hand stopped rummaging, pulling something out from behind him. Slowly what he was holding came out, immediately visible by the light of the window above.
That’s...
An outfit.
He handed the outfit to me. It was made of leather. The top was white, fastened with long lace-like buttons. The pants were dark brown, with several loops for a leather belt.
I took the outfit from him. I held it in my hand for a moment before looking at him in front of me. He was still smiling sincerely at me. I glanced back at the outfit below. I placed one of my hands on it, stroking it briefly. The outfit I was holding felt soft.
"So... what are you waiting for?" he said.
I looked at him.
"Put it on!" he continued, smiling at me.
I nodded. I excused myself to change. I went behind a stack of old, unused wooden barrels. There, I put on the outfit. From the pants to the top, everything fit perfectly. I tucked my servant’s clothes into the gap between the barrels. Then I stepped out and walked toward him. I climbed the stairs and stood in front of him again.
He looked me up and down, then smiled. I returned his smile, bowing in a saikeirei to express my gratitude. He just laughed loudly afterward, the people around glancing at him briefly before continuing their training. His laughter stopped a moment later, then he gently placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Alright, My little brother Touji! I think we can train now."
I nodded softly, accepting his suggestion.
"Since you’re a katana user, maybe I can’t train you in the usual way. Besides, from the very beginning, I could already see his basic techniques reflected in you."
I watched him for a moment, without blinking. ...What does he mean?
He just laughed afterward, looking up while putting both hands on his waist. He stopped when my eyebrow rose, looking at him who was holding my shoulder again.
"Let’s just start the training, My little brother Touji. For our sparring match!"
My eyes widened, not believing what I heard. "W-wait a minute, Big Brother! W-what does our sparring match mean?! Aren’t we going to train, like them!"
He just raised one eyebrow. His head tilted slightly. "Ha? Didn’t I already say that we will train in an unusual way?"
I bit my lower lip. "B-but—!"
"Listen, my little brother Touji. This kind of training is effective for you. I don’t know much about advanced katana techniques—only he does. Besides, with this method, you’ll learn more through experience. You want to become a personal servant worthy of the princess, right? I’ve heard you’re always bothering her."
I couldn’t speak hearing his words. Everything was as it should be. My eyebrows furrowed, my lip bitten hard. My hands clenched, before everything I did returned to normal. I sighed, looking at the person in front of me, this time with a ready look.
"Alright, Big brother Fukuro. I’ll do it!"
He clearly heard my words. A faint smile appeared on his face. He patted my cheek, softly. This time with a wider smile.
"That’s the spirit, My little brother!"
I smiled. I couldn’t believe that someone praised me this much. I’ve been used, gossiped about, hated—I’ve felt it all in my life. But sincerity... affection from strangers—I had never felt before.
My hands clenched tightly. I always listen to other people, but I’m rarely listened to by people.
I relaxed them. My gaze returned strong, looking at him.
He saw my gaze clearly, returning it with a sincere smile. He looked around, seeing one of his Little Brothers. And the person he saw was Risshu. He called Risshu, telling him to come closer. Risshu, who was training with a spear, released his focus. He wiped the sweat on his chin, moving closer to the edge of the arena.
Big Brother Fukuro approached, then squatted down. They seemed to exchange a few words. Big Brother Fukuro pointed toward the pile of weapons. Risshu walked over, picked up two weapons—a large double-edged sword and a wooden katana—then returned. He handed both directly to Big Brother.
Big brother took them, heading back towards me. He threw one of the swords, the katana sword directly into my hand.
"Here."
I took it, inserting it from the tip of the sword into the left side of my leather belt.
He, who was holding the big sword, put it on his right shoulder. The hilt was held tightly, before being swung forward. A strong wind flowed strongly, blowing my hair briefly.
I swallowed my saliva, taking distance between us. When the distance I took was right, I bowed—assuming a stance. Big Brother Fukuro only stood casually, as if already knowing I would lose to him.
I bowed deeper, my gaze sharpening. My fingers began to grip the cold wooden hilt, warming up afterward.
"This feeling of nervousness."
Looking around, there was no one to be a judge. Big brother looked at me, immediately counting down while smiling at me.
"THREE...!"
I bit my lip.
"TWO!"
The bite on my lip was released. My hand gripped the hilt of my sword. He only swung his sword quickly, before putting it back on his shoulder.
"ONE..."
Damn it...
"GO!"
