I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 333: Impending Sun?
[In the Academy Realm]
The false Donatello felt something odd as he floated in the sky, bruised, injured, dazed, and even missing an arm and a leg.
However, he was still unwilling to falter. But suddenly, he felt something snap inside of him.
His eyes widened as he quietly muttered:
"What’s going on...?"
The connection he had with Thalrek had suddenly vanished. An unprecedented event that he hadn’t anticipated.
Something had gone wrong.
Using the spell, [Northern Star], he summoned a radiant light in the sky that granted him the ability to look over the entire Academy Realm and the realms residing inside it.
He then narrowed his eyes, looking at a point in space that converged. And looking through that, he entered into the Puppeteer’s realm and looked past the gargantuan maze.
He then looked inside the massive hall behind the massive stone gate, and what he found shocked him.
There were signs of battle. An intense one at that.
And... There were no signs of the scrawny Puppeteer anywhere.
Not at his throne.
Not strolling around inside due to boredom.
But instead... He found a mysterious, cloaked individual standing in the air.
No wings to keep them afloat. No obvious platforms to stand on. Just... In the air.
Who was this person?
His eyes narrowed. And as soon as he was about to move his gaze to get a glimpse at their face, he found himself locking eyes with them as they turned around.
They had a dark, mysterious face that shifted countless times as though they were wearing a mask that cannot be seen without special origins.
And as he continued to stare into their eyes, he couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed and even... Frightened by the blood staining their body.
Did this person do something to the Puppeteer?
He pulled himself out of the realm and back into his body, returning to reality.
He then smeared his blood-stained hand through his long black hair, that were now a mess. He chuckled lowly as he gazed towards the rifts in the sky.
Although they continued to spew out cultists, he had noticed a dramatic drop in them several moments ago, most likely due to the disappearance of the Puppeteer.
"It seems I am going over the limit of my stay here..."
He knew he would either be killed today or captured to be interrogated and experimented on.
And since he was without any way to escape from the prison that was the Academy Realm, he might as well put a little bit more effort into reducing everything to ashes.
Raising his remaining hand towards the artificial sun he had created, he sent all of his remaining mana in hope of it self-destructing.
And just as he had already transferred 75% of whatever he had left, he felt something pierce through his chest.
Turning his gaze back, he found—what could only be described as a robot—stabbing a sword through his back.
He waved his hand back, intending to slap the machine away, before watching as it used his body as a platform and leapt back, taking back its sword.
Blood spilt out of his mouth as his body unconsensually leaned forward. Then, he felt something akin to poison flood the inside of his systems.
He clicked his tongue and wrapped his body in a bright light, intending to burn away the poison from his body. However, a split second later, he felt his remaining mana disappear.
And without anything to keep him afloat, he fell from the sky.
"Curses!" He hissed, watching as his body rapidly approached the ground.
However, right before he could hit the ground, he immediately felt something strike against the side of his head, leaving him essentially paralysed as the glimpse of Leonardo appeared.
BAM!
The King of Strength sent him with a rageful glint in his eyes as he kicked at the air, causing another air cone to erupt as he blasted forward at the speed of sound.
And as he reached Donatello’s flying limp body, he dealt another blow that sent him upwards before—
BAM! BAM! BAM!
—Delivering a combination of blows that sent him circling through the air.
Each punch sent from the King of Strength had enough speed and force to break through the sound barrier consecutively, which led to the internal rupturing of Starbringer’s organs.
Finally, with a beastly roar, the King of Strength shot his fist forward with enough strength to pierce through the man’s chest.
Blood splattered through the air as Leonardo’s harsh voice echoed:
"Are you not going to use the Corruption? Do you think you’ll live without using that form?"
Donatello vomited out blood, his breath stained with iron as he grasped onto Leonardo’s forearm.
"H-... Have you been so lost in your anger that you hadn’t figured it out, King of Strength...? You truly are a fool... I haven’t even been using any other abilities or Items, and yet you think I have access to something as exclusive as that?"
Starbringer brought back his fist before slamming it against the side of Leonardo’s rough beard.
The King’s face twitched at this. He tore his arm out from the Star Mage’s chest before spinning around, shaping his hand flat and slicing through Donatello’s neck.
Starbringer watched this happen with melancholic eyes as both his severed head and body fell to the ground with a wet thud.
Leonardo watched this with melancholic eyes as well before looking around. He looked over the ruined land, watching as countless figures of a man with a long black ponytail flew through the air.
It was Mirage’s Illusion clones. And in their arms were unconscious bodies of guardsmen.
And not only that, but they were busy dealing with the cultists that continued to fall out of the sky.
"So many..." He whispered before calling out Mirage’s name.
The Acting Headmaster appeared beside the King, bowing as his butterfly wings flapped behind him.
"I’m glad to see you have dealt with the traitor, your highness."
Leonardo nodded, "Yes... But not without some issues..." He looked down at his body, his eyes glazing over the serious burns he had sustained.
"But that is not an issue." He shook his head slowly before pointing towards the sky. "Right now, are you able to create anything that can stop that dying sun?"
Mirage looked up, staring at the dying sun that had turned red and radiated an even greater heat, which even affected him.
He sweated and shook his head solemnly.
"I... I don’t believe any of my illusions have enough durability to do anything against it."
Leonardo nodded solemnly before flexing his arms and spreading out his fingers like claws.
"Very well... I’ll resort to creating a barrier of pure mana around it while using my Element of Strength to allow it be able to endure the explosion that would inevitably come—"
However, right as he finished his sentence, a hand fell on his shoulder from behind.
"There is no need for that, father."
The King of Strength looked back, startled by the hand that fell on his shoulder and by the word ’father’. And as soon as he turned around, he widened his eyes.
A dashing young man with long blonde hair and yellow eyes stood behind him.
He wore a white robe that had red and orange outlines. It was also decorated with countless illustrations and charms that resembled a red sleeping bird nestled in flames.
He had a rather holy aura around his person as he hovered in the air with the help of wings made of pure flames.
To anyone who knew the Second Prince, they would find that this particular man looked like an older version of him.
And they would be right.
For this man, before them was...
