I'm an Extra, so What?-Chapter 22: Level 2
Chapter 22 - Level 2
It wasn't long before the remaining monsters of the horde reached the walls, wasting no time in trying to tear them down.
Some slammed their bodies against the structure, while others began clawing their way up.
The warriors fought desperately to stop the climbers, but most of their attention was focused on the bigger threats—two massive minotaurs.
The monsters roared, their muscles bulging as they swung their colossal axes, each strike shaking the walls as they relentlessly tried to break through.
Luka, however, had no interest in fighting the walking disasters.
Instead, he focused on the smaller, easier kills.
Drawing an arrow, he notched it and pulled back the bowstring, aiming at a goblin that had just reached the top.
Before the monster could fully hoist itself over, Luka released the shot.
The arrow pierced straight through its skull, and with a sharp cry, the goblin tumbled backward, its lifeless body vanishing into the chaos below.

"One down, a lot more to go," Luka smirked, already reaching for another arrow.
Stepping forward to get a better vantage point, he peered down at the monsters below and resumed firing.
His aim was sharp, each arrow finding its mark as he picked off goblin after goblin—the easiest targets.

Suddenly, Luka heard the system's voice resound inside his head.
[Ding! You have leveled up!]
[Level 2]
[+1 Skill Point and +1 Attribute Point]
'About time,' Luka thought, knowing he had been stuck at Level 1 for far too long.
Finally, he was making progress.
However, as he took a brief moment to relish the feeling, his focus wavered—a mistake that proved costly.
Out of nowhere, the warriors standing beside him were suddenly yanked off the wall by clawed green hands.
Goblins clung to them, dragging them down as they thrashed and kicked, desperate to free themselves.
But it was useless.
The goblins sank their jagged teeth into flesh, their victims' screams piercing through the air.
"GET OFF ME!"
"AHHH!"
Snapping out of his daze, Luka cursed himself internally and immediately resumed firing.
'That was a mistake on my end...' he sighed, mentally smacking himself for letting his guard down.

He glanced around for any more targets. "Hmm, no more goblins?" Luka muttered, feeling slightly disappointed.
His sharp eyes then began darting around for any more climbers.
Finding none, he shifted his attention to the other monsters—skeletons relentlessly hammering at the walls.
Luka frowned.
His arrows were useless against them.
He knew from the game that skeletons couldn't simply be killed; as undead, they had to be destroyed—their bones shattered with blunt force.
His arrows, no matter how precise, wouldn't be enough.
The same applied to the slimes slithering below.
He wasn't equipped to deal with them either.
"Damn... is there anything up here I can kill?" Luka grumbled.
He could only swallow back his frustration and assist the other warriors.
He turned his focus to the minotaurs, loosing arrow after arrow.
Yet, the hulking monsters barely reacted, their thick hides riddled with arrows but their movements unfazed.
They didn't even flinch at the barrage of elemental spells—water, fire, ice, and lightning all striking them in rapid succession.
They simply didn't care.
They were in a state of pure bloodlust.
Fortunately, the relentless elemental attacks were working wonders against the weaker monsters, thinning their numbers rapidly.
"Keep it up!" Silas roared. "They'll tire out eventually, and their bloodlust will fade! Once that happens, the spells will fully take effect!"
He then hurled his spear down at a large spider just as it skittered up the wall.
The weapon impaled the creature cleanly, cutting through its body before whipping back into Silas's grasp as if drawn by an invisible force.
'Damn, I wanted that kill...' Luka clicked his tongue in frustration. 'XP not going to me is such a waste!'
His hand instinctively reached for his quiver, only to realize he was low on arrows.
'I only have five left... better make them count.'
Luka glanced around, hoping for more targets, but to his annoyance, only a few Giant Rats remained within range.
He nocked an arrow and fired, hitting the monsters, but they didn't drop immediately.
Before he could load another arrow to finish them off, a cannon blast roared through the air, obliterating the Giant Rats into a bloody paste.
[New Title Unlocked: (Assist King) - Each time you successfully assist an ally, your arrow shooting speed increases by 2%]
'You've got to be kidding me...' Luka rolled his eyes, a sour taste in his mouth.
While the title was fine, he didn't care about assists; he wanted the kills!
He wanted the XP!
But right now, those were being stolen right out from under him!
Luka was tempted to scream, "They're one shot! Leave them to me!" but he quickly swallowed the impulse.
It wouldn't do him any good.
"The bloodlust of the minotaurs is fading!" one of the warriors screamed, quickly trying to adjust the cannon and find an angle to shoot downward.
But as he did, one of the minotaurs suddenly stopped its relentless assault on the wall.
It turned its gaze upward, its eyes locking onto the warrior.
With a terrifying roar, the minotaur hurled its massive axe upward, slicing through the warrior's body in a single, brutal motion.
Blood sprayed as the warrior's body crumpled to the ground, and the cannon, knocked loose, fell downward.
The minotaur growled and blocked the cannon with its arm. Without its axe, it began to climb the wall.
Warriors began shouting, their voices rising in panic.
"Kill this fucker!"
"Don't let it get up here!"
"Shit, shit, shit!"
"Use everything you got!"
Silas remained calm, his eyes narrowing. "Not today, motherfucker!" he murmured, pulling back his spear with deadly precision.
With a swift motion, he mentally activated one of his skills.
