Immortality Starts From Making Money.-Chapter 355: Future Plan.
For the next couple of days, Mo Jian and his people laid low while gathering everything about the next continent.
The town they were currently in was a border town called Wushan Town.
The primary occupation was hunting beasts and finding rare herbs from the Never-Ending Forest.
As for the nearest settlement, it was a five-day journey away.
The town chief was a real Nascent Soul Powerhouse.
With a real Nascent Soul protecting the town, the inhabitants did not have to worry about beast tides.
More importantly, it was the sole reason why many journeys from the prosperous city came to this backward town.
Wushan was peaceful, without infighting, far from the continent’s chaos.
Inside an ordinary courtyard, Mo Jian was having a casual conversation with Broken Blade.
"Senior, how long will it take before you break through to the Nascent Soul Realm?"
Without the shackles that prevented them from breaking through to the Nascent Soul, all the seniors in the half-step Nascent Soul Realm could finally have a chance to break through.
As long as they breakthrough and become real Nascent Soul Realm experts, their lifespans would increase.
"Young Master, I don’t know yet. My body is still adjusting to such a complete world law," Broken Blade said after some thought.
"But it can’t be more than a month." His voice was firm and decisive.
"Very well." He nodded. "I hope you seniors can become Nascent Soul Powerhouses as soon as possible."
Broken Blade merely nodded.
On their continent, half-Step Nascent Soul was the ceiling, but here Nascent Soul was the starting point.
From what they had found out so far, above the Nascent Soul Realm was the Saint Realm and more.
They, as outsiders, could not dare relax their guard. Without the backing of at least a Nascent Soul Realm powerhouse, they would do nothing but prey on the hungry clans that wouldn’t hesitate to devour them.
Just then, the door to the courtyard was pushed open and the old Withered man and Miss Yang walked in.
"Young Master, Elder Broken Blade." They called in unison and paid their respects with a deep bow.
"How is it?" Mo Jian asked.
"Everything is done. We’ve found a caravan that we can follow to the next city," Miss Yang responded.
"Good. When are they departing?"
"Tomorrow."
"Very well. Pass the news to the others. We’re leaving tomorrow." Mo Jian commanded. His gaze never left Miss Yang’s face.
"Miss Yang, I hope when I return to this town, you will have control of it." He said casually.
Miss Yang was one of the talented merchants under his banner. From the Southern Region to a new continent. This showed how Mo Jian valued her.
"Young Master, you can trust me on that." She said confidently. "I wouldn’t disappoint you."
Of course she knew how important the opportunity to visit another continent was. In her life, she had never dreamt of leaving the Southern Region, but here she was.
In a brand-new continent, filled with opportunity.
As long as she followed her Young Master, she knew her future was bright.
How could she not work hard? ...
The following day, a long caravan left Wushan Town without causing any stir. The caravan was like any other caravan that left the border town.
Guarding the caravan were guards with cultivation at the Golden Core realm. Each was clad in light armor engraved with runes.
"Elder Bai, what do you think of the runes?" Mo Jian asked as their caravan left the town behind.
Without hesitating, Elder Bai responded, "A low Tier-2 rune. Nothing fancy."
Seated beside him, Elder Zhao chuckled. Only he and the young master would call a low Tier-2 rune nothing fancy.
Elder Li Huang also looked at Elder Bai but did not speak. "Young Master, have you decided what we’re going to do in this new city?"
When they heard the question, the carriage fell into a heavy silence. "This has been troubling us since we arrived at Wushan Town."
For a moment, Mo Jian did not speak.
"Isn’t that obvious? We will continue our business...." His voice trailed off but did not continue.
Looking at him, none spoke as they waited for him to continue.
"Do you think it’s possible for us to start our business without offending those powerful clans?"
The question hung in the air, but no one responded.
The answer was obvious.
No.
For every business they pursued, there were others who had already started it before them, and with unfathomable depth.
As for them, they were weak as ants.
Thus, they could already see the massive trouble ahead.
Looking at them, Mo Jian realized they all understood the core of the problem.
"So, we’re going to use another approach." He continued in a low, casual voice.
"Which is?" Elder Zhao asked.
"Before we venture into our main business, we must wait for the five seniors to become Nascent Soul Powerhouses. But before then..."
"We introduce sport to these people." 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Sport!
Elder Zhao, Elder Bai, and Elder Li Huang were stunned. They had thought of many things they never expected, and Mo Jian would choose this.
Looking at their confused expressions, Mo Jian couldn’t help but chuckle.
"Young Master, is that why you brought those weak disciples and what is now called the football players?" Elder Zhao asked, with a look of realization.
Mo Jian nodded with a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
"Instead of stepping on others when we’re still weak, why don’t we make a name for ourselves through another method?"
"And football has a low threshold. With it, we can easily gain enough footing."
Although they were going to start with football, that didn’t mean they would begin to expand their influence in the shadows.
Right now, what was limiting them was their overall strength.
"Young Master, you surprised us once again." Elder Bai responded.
He thought they would break through by exposing a bit of their Mystic Mechanic, but he was wrong.
Their young master’s unconventional thinking shows itself once again.
"Right now, we should strive to get stronger as quickly as possible."
The others nodded, and their faces filled with anticipation.
