In Another World, Everyone Want to Kill Me!-Chapter 63: Accidental Kiss
Without his skills, an ordinary person exposed to this kind of poison would die instantly.
If Shang Qinghua’s martial energy dispersed now, he would be even more vulnerable than an ordinary person, even a legendary miraculous doctor couldn’t save him.
Yue Mingxuan’s mind raced as he prepared to stabilize Shang Qinghua knowing that every second counted.
"Prince Shang, Shang Qinghua..." Yue Mingxuan stepped closer to Shang Qinghua calling out softly to him.
The bubbles forming around his body were becoming denser and larger by the second.
"Mother... mother..." As the signs of dispersing martial energy grew stronger, Shang Qinghua could no longer speak complete sentences.
His words had become garbled murmurs.
Despite Yue Mingxuan’s gentle calls, the unconscious prince gave no response.
Damn it.
Who could tell him how to calm this strange man?
In Yue Mingxuan’s mind, Shang Qinghua had now completely leveled up to "weird man" status.
Normally, even in a coma, a person’s martial energy would automatically repair damaged meridians as a survival instinct.
But Shang Qinghua wasn’t repairing anything.
Even the slightest emotional fluctuation now caused him to show signs of dispersing his energy.
Seeing Shang Qinghua’s martial arts about to collapse completely, Yue Mingxuan, out of desperation, decided to act like a last-ditch measure.
He stepped forward and tightly wrapped his arms around Shang Qinghua.
Instantly, the strange, swirling bubbles around him stopped.
Leaning against his chest, Yue Mingxuan could hear nothing but the pounding of their hearts.
Shang Qinghua’s upper body remained bare.
This was the second time Yue Mingxuan’s body had been involuntarily compromised by this man.
He inwardly groaned, thinking at least Shang Qinghua had a decent physique, or else this would have been a huge loss for him.
"Mother..." Shang Qinghua didn’t know what had happened.
All he felt was the warmth of the embrace, reminiscent of the comfort he had known from his mother as a child.
Hearing him call out this way, Yue Mingxuan rolled his eyes inwardly.
Seriously, he hadn’t even married yet, and now this grown man was acting like his son what kind of world was this?
But to stabilize Shang Qinghua’s emotions, he forced himself to go along with it.
"Qing’er, I’m here. I’m not going anywhere," he said firmly.
Hearing Yue Mingxuan’s words, Shang Qinghua’s emotions slowly began to settle.
But because his martial energy had been severely drained during the dispersal, his body went limp.
He could barely remain sitting upright and started to tip toward the water.
Yue Mingxuan was quick and alert, he reaching out his hand to make Shang Qinghua steady.
But the weight of his body caused them both to tilted and they fell into the water together.
In that instant, Shang Qinghua’s lips landed directly on Yue Mingxuan’s lips.
"Damn it! My first kiss!" Yue Mingxuan exclaimed.
Using the water’s buoyancy, he pushed Shang Qinghua away with all of his strength and then he rubbing his lips.
A small trickle of blood had appeared, it’s seems his lips were broken.
He felt frustrated as he thought bitterly that all those romance novels he had read were lies.
In stories, a first kiss was always earth-shattering, full of passion and excitement.
In reality, it left your lips cracked and bleeding and it didn’t even hurt enough to be dramatic.
Romantic? Nothing like that existed.
After Yue Mingxuan helping Shang Qinghua who had fallen to the side in the water to stand up, he suddenly found himself amused.
If he hadn’t reacted quickly just now, would Shang Qinghua have become the first prince to drown in a hot spring?
The blood on his hands quickly washed away in the warm water of the spring and disappearing without a trace.
He leaned him against the edge of the hot spring and noticed something troubling.
Shang Qinghua’s lips were worse off than him.
A line of blood had already trickled down from his lips to his chin.
Yue Mingxuan cupped some hot spring water and gently rinsed his chin.
By now, Shang Qinghua’s breathing had steadied considerably and he leaned against the edge of the spring, looking almost asleep.
Yue Mingxuan glanced at himself.
After being pressed into the hot spring, his makeup had mostly washed off.
He scooped a handful of mud from the spring and smeared it over his face.
The mixture of red, white, and brown color made his look more terrifying.
Suddenly, a loud rumble came from the right side of the spring.
Yue Mingxuan jumped and grabbed Shang Qinghua’s hand tightly.
The cave was full of strange things and now with such a loud sound, he worried.
What if some monstrous creature rushed out?
They wouldn’t even be enough to be a snack.
A bright white light shone from the right side of the hot spring.
Yue Mingxuan’s eyes squinted slightly.
Fortunately, the light didn’t last long.
It gradually softened into a gentle warm glow.
Their hands tightened instinctively.
Yue Mingxuan looked over and realized Shang Qinghua had woken up without him noticing.
Though he still looked exhausted, his eyes were clear and alert again.
"You’re awake?" Seeing him conscious brought Yue Mingxuan a wave of relief. His voice brightened slightly. "You were attacked by the cold poison in the cave. I saw the hot spring inside, so I helped you here."
Though Shang Qinghua could no longer use his martial skills and could not defend himself, having someone beside him to plan and watch over him eased Yue Mingxuan’s worries by more than half.
Shang Qinghua glanced around the cave carefully.
At first, he had thought this was just a hidden cave, but he hadn’t expected such a large hot spring area and the strange white light on the right side only deepened the sense that something extraordinary awaited them.
Suddenly, Shang Qinghua felt a dull, throbbing pain on his lips.
He reached up his hand to touch them and noticed a small trace of blood. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
When he turned his head slightly and looked at Yue Mingxuan, he saw a suspicious rosy stain on her lips as well.
