In Another World, Everyone Want to Kill Me!-Chapter 67: The Hot Spring Incident
Yue Mingxuan’s heart thudded in uncertainty.
What did he mean? Did he want it or not?
Surely he wouldn’t take it all for himself...
Seeing Shang Qinghua about to leave the chamber, Yue Mingxuan quickly stored the remaining rosewood furniture into the Hidden Jade Bracelet and ran to catch up.
The moment they stepped out of the chamber, a rumbling sound erupted once again.
When it finally faded, Yue Mingxuan looked back and saw that the chamber had vanished, leaving only a bare mountainside where it had once stood.
Yue Mingxuan reached out and tapped the bare mountainside.
To his surprise, it was solid.
He couldn’t believe it. Do the ancient times always this advance?
He searched the rock for a long time, but no matter how he looked, he could find no trace that the secret chamber had ever existed.
If it weren’t for the cool sensation from the Hidden Jade Bracelet on his wrist, he might have thought the entire experience was just a dream.
Watching Yue Mingxuan pacing back and forth along the wall in vain, Shang Qinghua quietly sat cross legged and began practicing his martial arts.
Since waking up, he had felt that a large portion of his true energy had been lost and now, only about thirty percent of his strength remained.
After wandering around the wall for quite some time, Yue Mingxuan whose out of breath gave up trying to find the hidden chamber.
It had already been emptied, after all, so there was no point.
After comforting himself, he walked over and sat beside Shang Qinghua as he practiced.
Although Shang Qinghua kept his eyes closed, his senses were still sharp.
Feeling Yue Mingxuan’s unsuccessful search, a faint smile appeared at the corner of his lips.
According to unofficial histories, Master of Trickery Luo Feng possessed powers that could reach the heavens and penetrate the earth, he also able to summon wind and rain.
If a secret chamber he had sealed could be found so easily, he would start to looks at Yue Mingxuan in admiration.
Yue Mingxuan whose sitting beside him studied Shang Qinghua as he moved through his exercises.
The high bridge of his nose, eyelashes like butterfly wings, the side profile carved as if by a sculptor... he was undeniably handsome.
Taking advantage of Shang Qinghua’s closed eyes, Yue Mingxuan stood up and bent down in front of him, scrutinizing him closely.
"Wow, such smooth skin... I wonder what skincare he uses."
He bent low and his nose almost touching his face.
After completing a small cycle of his inner energy, Shang Qinghua exhaled and opened his eyes.
Right in front of him was Yue Mingxuan’s face magnified many times.
Shang Qinghua awkwardly lowered his head, but he inadvertently caught sight of the two pink nipples through Yue Mingxuan’s clothes.
Those two pink nipples looks very appealing, as if they’re asking him to took a bite.
"You... what are you looking at?!" Yue Mingxuan sensed his gaze stepping back and covering his chest with his hands.
His tone carried a sharp edge of caution.
Seeing his reaction, Shang Qinghua felt a flicker of anger he couldn’t explain.
He turned his head slightly and with a mocking smile playing at his lips, he said, "With a face like yours and you still think about getting married?"
Getting married? Yue Mingxuan was utterly confused.
He had been the one sneaking a look, so how did it turn into a question of marriage?
"Ugly people cause trouble," Shang Qinghua said, then leaned back against the stone wall and began to closed his eyes.
Has Shang Qinghua reached midlife crisis already?
Yue Mingxuan, having just been scolded out of nowhere, felt like he might literally vomit blood.
Even though he had been dedicated to cultivating his "ugly persona," being called ugly twice in less than two minutes by Shang Qinghua was enough to make his heart ache.
Yue Mingxuan looked down at his clothes and studied them carefully.
Aside from looking slightly exposed without his outerwear, there didn’t seem to be any real problem. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
He couldn’t understand what had hurt Shang Qinghua’s fragile pride.
Facing him, Yue Mingxuan could only transform all her frustration into a single, "Hmph..." and sat on the other side of the hot spring, sulking.
The steam from the hot spring rose in waves and the stone slabs on one side were so warm and comfortable that Yue Mingxuan whose feel exhausted from all the commotion began to nod off.
Just as she was about to drift into sleep, Shang Qinghua’s calm voice cut through the mist: "Yue Mingxuan, come and give me a massage."
The beginning of a pleasant nap was abruptly destroyed.
Yue Mingxuan was furious and nearly fuming to death but he had no choice but to follow his instructions.
He stood up reluctantly and realized that Shang Qinghua had somehow seated himself at the edge of the hot spring.
He shuffled slowly behind him and started massaging his shoulders in a half-hearted manner.
Perhaps he was genuinely too tired or perhaps the warmth of the hot spring had lulled his senses, because the next thing he knew, a sudden splash of water startled him awake.
Somehow, in the chaos, he had accidentally knocked Shang Qinghua into the hot spring.
"Oh no..." Looking at him standing in the water, droplets sliding down his toned abdomen, Yue Mingxuan couldn’t help but swallow his saliva hard.
The phrase "a feast for the eyes" suddenly made perfect sense to him.
"What are you looking at?" Shang Qinghua’s voice carried no emotion, neither anger nor amusement.
"N-nothing..." Yue Mingxuan stammered.
He had no idea how he had ended up pushing him into the water.
He lowering his head and silently crossed himself, thinking that even the gods above might not be able to save him now.
The water dripped from Shang Qinghua’s hair, tracing down to his face and shoulders.
Though a careful look revealed some irritation in his eyebrows and eyes.
